“So fortunate to have family in Hawaii, and super fortunate to be able to visit Oahu once in a while to eat food that you just can't find anywhere else like this amazing vegan hot dog cart! Onolicious! Once upon a time, I used to feel sad that I couldn't find vegan local kine eats, but the future has arrived. Support local businesses and seek out this place.“
“I tried their sampler. From left to right, i got:
- Holy Krab
- Tacobella
- BAE
- In & Out
- Let’s Avocuddle
The rolls were the perfect balance of a crunchy shell on the outside with softer wrapper layers on the inside. The rolls were not too oily either.
The Holy Krab was amazing. It was like a creamy crab croquette in a roll. The Let’s Avocuddle was also a stand out. I like my meat, but this vegetarian option was surprisingly good.
There was also a cheese(?) sauce, sweet chili sauce, and salsa. The cheese sauce is literal crack“

“Food was excellent. I’d recommend getting there as soon as it opens to avoid lunch rush since it’s the only place in the area. We walked a little past it for a picnic in the grass. We paid about $60 for 8 people to eat, with 6 drinks as well. Service was quick and friendly as well as patience since we took a while to decide what we wanted and order. Chicken and gravy was delicious and the fried rice had great flavoring. Spaghetti plate was large enough for multiple meals.“

“The Zoo itself is a great way to enjoy seeing all the animals, beautiful habitats, creative art and fun facts/history around the zoo! Jess and her co-worker in the Gift Shop were friendly, fun and very helpful! 5/12/25 Each trip to Oahu, there is always a visit to the zoo!“

“This place is delicious and the staff is extremely friendly. The lemon tea is so good you will want more and the food tastes really fresh. The kalbi I had never had before, but I really enjoyed it.
We shared 2 plates with our 1 and 2 year old and they couldn't get enough. We were surprised how much they ate of it!
So it's family friendly for sure!“

“Fresh coconut juice, available with pulp option. Also fresh sugarcane juice with local lime. Incredibly tasty and refreshing! Buy both drinks and share amongst family members if you don’t want too much sugar. Convenient Waikiki Beach location! One of the few places in Honolulu where you can get these drinks aside from the farmers market. Highly recommended!“

“Visited twice in a span of 3 days. I live 30mins away and it’s the most authentic halal food I’ve had on the island yet. It’s nothing like the belgian or NY street halal variety. Food came out hot and fresh. They hand it to you on the street. If you’re looking for real authentic halal food from the middle east, this is the place.“

“We used Teruya's Andagi for my father's service in Feb 2026 and ordered 130 bentos (karaage, garlic chicken, assorted large roll, veggie) and andagi and sweet potato mochi, and all were a hit! The shrimp tempura and garlic chicken large bento roll was the most popular by far! Albert was super-responsive and very professional in my email communications with him and the bentos were delivered on time. I will definitely use Teruya's Andagi in the future and you should, too! Thank you and your staff so much, Albert!“
“We were instantly greeted with Aloha! After tasty samples of a few types of breads (all delicious), and good conversation, we chose coconut since I haven't had this type of banana bread before. The bread is nice and moist with delicious flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. We'll be back for more!!“

“Stumbled on this place right off base around lunch time. This “shack” is no fast food joint. Everything is made to order, so it takes about 10 mins to get your food after ordering. But the wait is well worth it!
We ordered the pangang curry and Thai boat noodles. Both were flavorful and fresh! For $12-$13 per meal, this was a large helping. I will say, the Thai boat noodles did have some chunks of lemongrass, cloves, and other sneaky flavor bombs that can get intense if you aren’t careful to pick them out.
I will come back again for sure!“

“Although they did seem mostly sold out by 10am, I was quite happy with what I got.
I will admit I didn't expect to find an entire strawberry inside the strawberry one 😂
Needless to say that it ended up being breakfast which I wasn't unhappy about!“

“Was greeted by a kind gentleman behind the counter. He saw us looking and opened up the steam basket to show us more options but wasn't pushing us to by his food. I was already full but decided to get the fried pork dumplings. I'm so glad I did. Omg it was fresh, hot, crispy and the filling tasted just right. This place costs a lot less than where I'm from for dim sum. If I could eat more, I would've ordered more.“

“I wonder why they serve human food but have the name “fish food”? hm, the world may never know. anywho, i had the spicy ahi bowl (?) that came with rice, some fish, and 2 pieces of gyoza with sauce. the fish was good and had the spiciness of a 3.5 on the caucasian scale of spicy; has a little kick but won’t make you cry out for jésus or anything. the convenience of having poke on base was amazing but the portion size was not! $15 or so for a small bento sized meal is a little pricey as poke bowls at foodland are about $5 cheaper and they give you more fish and rice as well. For the size of fish food hawaiis spicy ahi, i have attached a pic to show the size with an ice breakers ice cube gum for a scale (didn’t have banana for scale)“
“For breakfast, a bowl of Pampanga Kitchen's Arroz Caldo (rice soup) is a great way to start the day. It's full of flavor, with generous amounts of chicken and an egg. Also included: two calamansi to jazz it up even more.
Order and pay at the register first. Counter seating.
Parking: parking may get tight later in the day
Wheelchair accessibility: good accessibility“

“Best Bagels on Oahu, without any close competition. I grew up in NJ where bagels are a religion, and had sort of given up on the idea of having a good bagel since I've lived in Honolulu. But I went to Tali's for the first time today and Holy S--t! The bagels are fresh, with a perfect bite and chew. The inside is light and full of real bagel flavor. The outside has that medium level of resistance that makes biting into a bagel so rewarding. The cream cheese schmears are delicious and spreadable. I also hit the OG lox sandwich that was so good, I think I cried a little. On top of al of that, the 2 people working there were so nice and helpful! Highly recommend!!!!!“

“This is my go-to spot after I get my hair cut at nearby Major League barber shop. The food, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch. I've had the pollo asada and the chorizo & egg tacos, both with rice and beans. 🤤 This is a Veteran/family owned business that takes their food creations and customer relations seriously. It is also SoCal Mex based flavor-wise and takes me back to the neighborhood taco shops in L.A. and San Diego. I look forward to eventually trying everything on the menu.“
