“One of the best meals I’ve had while traveling in the States! Reminded me of the pho I used to have as a child.

The pho itself was loaded with beef and tendon, the soup was flavourful and sweet and you could taste there was no MSG added. I also ordered the chicken banh mi; the bun was crispy and loaded with chicken and condiments.

“Best BBQ pork banh mi sandwich!! They make everything fresh to order. Bread is crispy and airy, meat is tender/flavorful/not overtly sweet with pickled onions. We got ours with extra meat! AND YOU MUST EAT IT WITH THEIR HOMEMADE HOT SAUCE! It is potent and will make you sweat and want for more!! Recommend to call to order if you don’t want to wait there. I’ve always ordered at the counter and then go next door and get a coffee while waiting the 10-15 mins. You can also request them to cut the sandwich in half and ask for utensils (chopsticks) if needed (since all the meeeeaat would fall out as you eat.)“

The only issue I have is that since it is in china town it is super hard to find parking. Other than that it is a great Vietnamese restaurant and I highly recommend it.“

“My first time trying this Vietnamese restaurant. I went during off hours, so plenty of parking and I was the only customer.

The menu is extensive typical of a Vietnamese restaurant, but I am here to try the Pho. The broth is very light, but beefy. Not too sweet. But its missing the essence of the spices, like the cinnamon, star anise, cloves, coriander seeds, cardamom and fennel. Also the smokiness of the onions and ginger. I just prefer my pho broth to be heavier on the spices. But I still enjoyed it. The rice noodles was perfect, and the meat toppings is a little on the stingy side. Also only one size bowl.

I also tried the Summer Rolls with BBQ Pork. It was just average to me. Service was good, attentive and refilled my water when needed. Came to check on me a couple of time. My Mom called me while eating and I ended up ordering the Chicken Pho for take out for my Mom.

They did get busier after I sat down with mostly take out orders.

I will definitely come back again. I like the convenience of satisfying my Pho cravings and I don't have to drive to downtown/Chinatown.“

“Came here based on Yelp reviews. Tried the seafood pho and the roast pork dry noodle. The pho broth was excellent. Very flavorful with lots of aromatics. My wife enjoyed it. I had the roast pork, won ton, and egg noodle dry. Roast pork was tender and tasty and went well with the plump won ton and chewy egg noodles. We're definitely coming back for more. It's a small place so be ready to wait for a little bit“

This is a local Vietnamese restaurant in Chinatown. It's not a modern atmosphere, but there are plenty of table seats and the food comes out right after you order! The food was plentiful and the rice noodles were delicious, so I wanted to order other soup dishes next time. Recommended Recommended

Pho Large $16: It's a sweet broth, but it's delicious. In particular, the rice noodles are thinner and very soft than other places. Since I wasn't hungry, I ordered one and shared it between the two of us, and it was just the right amount.
Ice Coffee $5: Sweet Vietnamese ice coffee.
Ban Mi $11: The banh mi bread is delicious. I was full so I only ate one bite, but it was okay.“

My favorite was the Lemon Beef Salad that we rolled up into rice paper and dipped into a delicious sauce. This restaurant not only has the best tasting food, they have the largest menu with over 100 authentic dishes. On Tuesday I ate at Broken Rice and last night I ate at Hale Vietnam, so that's 3 different Vietnamese restaurants in 3 days in a 2 block radius. The pork's blood cake they used was the smoothest I've tried for a long time outside of Asia! It wasn't the normal hard and grainy texture - amazing! “We recently dined at Phở Minh Thư and had a fantastic experience! We ordered two special phở and the spring rolls with grilled pork, and both dishes were absolutely amazing. I would have loved to see some other seafood represented (it only had fishcake balls and shrimp) but it didn't take away from the healthy portion and umami flavor!!! 9/10 (Only because of the variety of seafood.) COVID Protocols: I felt very comfortable at Ha Long Pho, they require proof of vaccine, or negative COVID test, to enter...and...instead of your spices being left on the table, they are pulled after each guest, I can only assume to sanitize before the next guest uses it. 10/10 for sanitation and safety!!!“
