“So good! Driving up to the North Shore from the airport we wanted something local. Family owned. No frills just awesome chicken. So juicy. We all had sandwiches and the pulled chicken is more like chunks with some pulled. Not overly shredded. And not doused with sauce. Just a nice enhancement. We had the melts and they were delicious. The bread is crusty but soft inside. An easy bite. And my son loved his Cajun fries. Off street parking in the rear.“

“Good food. Would eat again. Enjoyed the burrito the most. My daughter loved the nachos and has been begging me to get some again soon. Nice and friendly and brought our food out to the car when it was ready. Parking is small and tight (as is the situation in Wahiawa), and even though it was prime traffic time with lines wrapping around the roads, it wasn’t too terrible getting in and out.“

“While the flavors are great, skip the shrimp tacos. For $20, two small shrimp per taco is frugal. You end up eating mostly tortilla and cabbage. Either think the tortillas or be generous and add a third shrimp! Better to purchase the mixed taco or any of the other proteins.

Update: I spoke with the owner, Joseph, who apologized for the error on our order and ensured this won't happen again. Our other dishes were generously portioned and overall, the spices and quality of ingredients were 👌🏼.“

“The food here was so good and satisfying. Loco Moco is the stuff dreams are made of. Portuguese sausage, bacon - wife and sons pancakes were also fantastic from what they told me. Oldest son got the teriyaki beef which was also very flavorful and tender. Portions are huge for the price - I am excited this will be leftovers later. 🤣

“This was lunch stop with our ultimate circle oahu bus tour. We ate garlic lemon shrimp, spicy shrimp, vegetable fried rice.. taste and flavors were bursting in our mouth. We (spouse and 3kids) drove again all the way to north shore from Waikiki just to eat here again. Second time , in addition to above we ordered shrimp burger . It was one of the best burger we have ever eaten. This place is a must must stop for food when visiting north shore oahu.“

“In the past, I would only order the noodle trays or plates for pot luck. Recently, I started buying their plate lunches, and suddenly realized what I’ve been missing. I ordered their fish and chips and chicken katsu. Both came with ultra generous servings and I believe the fish and chips was THE Best I’ve ever tasted. I served 30 years in the Army and 22 years as a civilian for the Marine Corps….. and have travelled all over the United States and a good portion of other countries, and I swear the Mililani Restaurant’s fish and chips IS the very Best I’ve ever eaten. “I had such a great experience at 2 Mom Kitchen! The meat jun was tender, & flavorful, and the bibimbap was fresh, & colorful. The lady at the counter welcomed me with such kindness. While it’s not a full sit-down restaurant, there’s a small table with three chairs where you can wait comfortably for your order. And the free street parking makes stopping by so easy. I can’t wait to come back and try more from their menu.“

“It's rare to find a place so cheap and yet so delicious! I was dropping off my old man and found out about a unicorn in today's economy a solid breakfast, plate lunch or bento all 20 bucks or less. Now okazuyas been my jam since baby days but this place takes the cake. I got the shock and awe breakfast for 5 DOLLARS! And I'll happily say it again for the people in the back. For 2 eggs a solid set of meat and rice I can't complain. I love my set scrambled and they did it quite well. Outside of the cash only part which id definitely forget going again (which I understand why) its a perfect place for your pre work meal or even during! It boggles me how this place was hated on.“

Of the three places we ate (here, Giovanni’s, and Huli Huli chicken) in this food truck area, I’d call this the best one of the three, would def eat here again.“

“We had a tour guide take us around the Island. We wanted to go to an authentic place to eat, not fancy touristy restaurants. He recommended 2 places, (I won't say the other one on this review, but it was also excellent!) He brought us to Coral Kingdom for the Huli Huli Chicken. It was so flavorful, juicy and delicious!
