“Went here for lunch, the food was super good (and that’s coming from a Vietnamese person), all the food came out really fast, there was a short wait to get in though. The only issue I have is that since it is in china town it is super hard to find parking. Other than that it is a great Vietnamese restaurant and I highly recommend it.“

“Super delicious rice noodles with the juiciest, most flavorful lemongrass chicken. Just such a delight to eat crispy veggies and herbs on a hot day here. The owner was so sweet too and chatted with us. This spot has been around for ~20+ years, too!“

“I only come here for the Pho. The broth is not salty but savory. That's good because other Pho restaurants have you drinking 5 cups of water afterwards. portion size is mid with a few slices of meat and couple meatballs. The portion size will not satisfy a normal adult. I can't say that it's worth it to drop $18 and not be full. It is enough to satisfy the taste buds though.“

“Good food. Great people. Been here 3 days straight for lunch because of my picky son. :-) And my Mom and Aunt are vegetarian. If you are here visiting and want good Vietnamese food. Give them a try.“

“Very generous portion for the price. Pho soup came piping hot. The noodle was cooked perfectly al dente. The broth was not overly oily, great taste. Beef balls had great texture, not too soft not too chewy. Hu tieu was delicious with the fried garlic in the broth. Would definitely come back to try other menu!“

“Wow…we loved our meals. We stopped here by quickly on our way from Waikiki to the airport, and easily found street parking. The vermicelli bowls with lemongrass chicken & tofu (and a banh mi with pork + chicken) were so fresh, so filling, and really high quality. Delicious Vietnamese iced coffee. The service was kind, as well. Highly recommend for a relaxed & high quality meal!!“

“No gimmicks, just delicious food made with love. Lots of menu options not commonly seen at other Vietnamese places on the island. Food felt healthy and nourishing. We had the lotus root salad, lemongrass chicken, and steamed dumplings, all were delicious and can't wait to return to try more dishes! I'm only sad that I didn't discover it sooner.“

“Split a BBQ Beef and Vietnamese Sandwich with my girlfriend and they were excellent. Very authentic Vietnamese banh mi (I wish we had this still back where I live) and the family that owns the restaurant were very friendly. Thank you for the meal and happy new year!“

“Absolutely delicious authentic food. We had a the vegan pho (tofu, veggies, veggie broth), tofu summer rolls and veggie spring rolls. Other vegan dishes looked equally enticing. Our friends also thoroughly enjoyed the spicy beef pho & classic pho bowls, as well as the local spring rolls.
The atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect and want from a hole in the wall pho joint. And the real highlight is the owners who take such pride in their cooking and customer service. They even brought homemade Vietnamese desserts out for us to try at the end of our meal. Highly recommend!“

*Overall review: Local atmosphere, rich taste of rice noodle soup + noodles are very soft and delicious. Would definitely visit again. Recommended!
This is a local Vietnamese restaurant in Chinatown. It's not a modern atmosphere, but there are plenty of table seats and the food comes out right after you order! The food was plentiful and the rice noodles were delicious, so I wanted to order other soup dishes next time. Recommended Recommended
Pho Large $16: It's a sweet broth, but it's delicious. In particular, the rice noodles are thinner and very soft than other places. Since I wasn't hungry, I ordered one and shared it between the two of us, and it was just the right amount.
Ice Coffee $5: Sweet Vietnamese ice coffee.
Ban Mi $11: The banh mi bread is delicious. I was full so I only ate one bite, but it was okay.“

“Casual Vietnamese restaurant with a diverse selection of noodle dishes from different regions of Vietnam. I tried the hu tieu Nam Vang, which was a delicious bowl of clear noodle soup. The flavor was solid, and while the squid and shrimp were just okay, the overall dish hit the spot. I’m definitely interested in trying their other noodle bowls. Service was quick and efficient.“

“We ordered beef Pho, chicken fried spring rolls and curry rice with chicken. It all came out steaming hot. The pho was very good they add the basil, bean sprouts and jalapeños before they bring it out. Lots of flavor. The chicken spring rolls had noodles and mushrooms they were excellent. Right up there with the best ones I’ve had. The curry rice was a green curry it didn’t say that so maybe this changes. It was full of flavor with lots of chicken in it. My wife’s favorite part was the torro. Over all I would highly recommend this place.“

“Quite possibly the best bún (rice vermicelli) I've ever had. The veggies were very fresh and the portions were generous. Everything was cooked perfectly. I asked for pork shrimp and spring roll, which wasn't on the menu, and they were happy to do that for just a little extra.“

“It is surprisingly good. I picked this place because it was right next to the airport when I landed, but the food quality wowed me. The noodle was very fresh, it was not some dried noodle that got heated up, but actual freshly made noodles which a lot of other Vietnamese restaurants don't offer. Other dishes are good too!“

“My Vietnamese friend suggested that we order the Super Pho Seven Courses of Beef at her favorite Vietnamese restaurant. It had a good variety of beef prepared in different ways. My favorite was the Lemon Beef Salad that we rolled up into rice paper and dipped into a delicious sauce. This restaurant not only has the best tasting food, they have the largest menu with over 100 authentic dishes. On Tuesday I ate at Broken Rice and last night I ate at Hale Vietnam, so that's 3 different Vietnamese restaurants in 3 days in a 2 block radius. This one is the only one that I ***** Highly Recommended!*****“

“Literally the best pho I've ever had! The staff was super kind and even served us despite two members of our party not having enough cash on hand. The place is cash only but there's an ATM in the 7-11 nearby so it's not a problem!“

“No frills Vietnamese food in a small but comfortable space on the edge of Chinatown.... The food was very fresh and authentic. Run by a local couple/family, the service was very hospitable... Prices very fair. The Vietnamese coffee was traditional slow drip and delicious. Ordered the banh mi sandwich and it was also a star... The bread was fresh baked, and had the perfect texture and softness on the inside with just the right amount of crisp on the crust. Definitely recommended.“

“BUSIEST Vietnamese restaurant on the island! The items on their menu is quite extensive. If you know your Vietnamese, this is the place for you. The restaurant is clean and well lit frequented by locals and especially the Vietnamese community. Their portions are generous. Minimal MSG.“

“Love the shared seating area for the handful of food trucks, especially with the covered outdoor seating, which is a huge plus. The owner was phenomenal and actually brings the food to your table instead of yelling out a number like most places.
Big respect for serving the food on real porcelain/ceramic plates instead of cardboard boxes—it genuinely elevates the experience. Portion sizes are generous, so you won’t leave hungry.“

“I stopped by to make take out order. But if you do not plan to take it home to eat, it is better not to order pho. It was almost impossible for me to eat out of a big pot of soup.
I also wish the portions were smaller because it also came with a high price.
I enjoyed the spring rolls. 2 rolls for $8.
Pho was $18. So… not cheap for a meal for 1 person.“

“Kim, Kevin, and the tasty food keep us returning. The only suggestion we would offer is that the food for the plate lunches be kept consistently on a food warmer that's turned on, rather than giving it an appearance that the food is heated.“

“This is your get yelled at by an auntie good old school pho joint. The pho is good, bun rieu is good. Flavors are full of spice depth. Also some great spice sauce options on the table. Good quantities provided on the noodle soups as well.
Located right next to ala moana and wash parking lot.“

“Pho Nam is our friendly neighborhood spot to get pho takeout if we are feeling under the weather, or to go for a quick family meal if we don't feel like cooking. The pho (we've had probably 5+ variations from this place) is good, with a flavorful broth. The spring rolls are another hit with this place.
Takeout is always very fast, food always comes out very fast. The space is clean, and above all the staff is incredibly friendly.“

“We stopped by this place for lunch after experiencing some very poor vegan options in Waikiki. We took some basic items - a fried rice dish, a fried noodle dish, and some summer rolls. All of the dishes were great. We also liked the cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended if you are nearby. Everything is vegan except for a few beverage items. Updated from previous review on 2026-01-25“
