“This place is pricey but is SO WORTH IT. I want to thank Chris, Mikey, Amanda, I believe Hayden (bartender) and all the other staff who made every visit just as good as the next. I loved showing this place off and everytime it was a grand slam hat trick. I am sad I likely won't be back as I moved off island but the food is amazing and the staff knows the menu inside and out. My only regret is that I didn't stop in sooner.

“My family and I went to Mezzo Restaurant on September 12th, 2025 while celebrating a very special occasion my son proposed to his girlfriend that evening, and we had all flown out from California to share in the moment. The atmosphere was wonderful, warm, and inviting, which made it a perfect spot for such a memorable night.

The service was on the slower side that was a bummer and it took a while for our food to come out, but once it arrived, everything was absolutely delicious. The garlic bread, in particular, was amazing so good that it deserves a spot as an option on the menu so guests can order extra. The restaurant itself was a little tricky to find with signage that wasn’t very clear, but once inside, we were glad we made the effort.

Overall, it was a beautiful evening with outstanding food and a great atmosphere, and despite the slow service, the experience will always stand out as a wonderful part of our celebration.“

“This was our 3rd visit to Cino this year. The best part of our dining experience at Cino was Julian, our server for the evening. He was 5 stars THE BEST; so totally professional. Throughout the evening Julian gave us good menu recommendations, updates on food preparation and awesome attention to detail. Regular and timely refills on wine and water glasses were much appreciated. Julian's team of helpers were on point in delivery and take away. Regarding the food- our favorites were the appetizers. Best best beet salad, caprese salad and Spanish octopus- all so yummy! On this our 3rd dinner at Cino, the portions on the appetizers were much more substantial than previous visits. We really enjoyed the Branzino sea bass and Pinwheel Pasta. The pork chop was not as tasty or juicy as it was on our last visit. We will request Julian again on our next visit and hopefully all of the entrees we order will be outstanding!“

“I thought I had made a comment but I don't see it here first I'd like to say the food was fabulous there was no problems with that. I had stopped a busboy and asked him for some more butter for our bread he took a few steps forward first then step back and said well I need a plate you have to take that butter off that plate because we don't have any more plates. I did take the butter off the plate and had it to him he brought it back and he just dropped it on the table it was incredibly rude nobody really said anything until a little bit later in the meal and then it was brought up about how rude he was. This was the night before mother's Day so it was my mother's day because I had to work on mother's Day everything was great except for that experience with that busboy I'm very sad to say that really left a bad taste in our mouth.“

“IL TAPPO Hawaii was total surprise! Everything we ordered from the caprese salad, bruschetta, with tomato basil and garlic, pesto ala penne with chicken, the lasagna, the pizza with capacola, the wine recommended was amazing. We finished with the perfect size of tiramisu and a shot of amazingly chilled limoncello. This was a perfect meal start to finish. This place is a must go to if you visit here. “I pick up lunch from the Pioneer Plaza location a couple of times a month. It's always the large salad ... Which gives you 3 to 4 choices atop some cut lettuce. I usually select the peas and carrots, curried chicken (even though I don't like raisins), tomato and cucumber and the pasta salad.

There are pasta and sandwiches ... my workmates often order that instead of salad. FYI, the large is a better deal ... You get far more food for just a few more dollars.“

“Simple and very delicious Italian food. The pizza and pasta with a choice of combinations are both delicious. I think this is the taste that Japanese people like. The portions are about Japanese size, so if you want to eat a lot, you might have to order sometime.“

“This was definitely a different Pizza experience... their story is intriguing and hopefully this brand and cuisine comes to the remainder of the states especially Florida... I had their lime drink and it was amazing and their Pizza was delightful. 43 inc highly recommended. In Tampa Florida we have a network called The HUB and it's a place we recommend phenomenal experiences. This would be one.“

“Really good Italian food in a mall restaurant. On Level 1, tucked next to Macy’s, The Chicken Marsala is a tender breaded chicken breast. The default pasta is Linguine. The special was Chicken and Shrimp Diablo; the small chicken pieces and shrimp were overcooked; it was not spicy. There is a fairly extensive wine list, continental and Napa. Service was good.“

“Walking past, there's a good chance you won't even notice it. There's a row of 3-4 shops in one building. Upon entering, you realize just how small it really is. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and patient, this was the first time for me to visit this place. I honestly couldn't decide, there were so much to choose from. I ended up ordering the Hawaiian calzone and the combination calzone. I was not disappointed at all. They were delicious. I quickly realized however that I should have ordered just 1. They were both quite full. I'll be sure to go back there on my next trip to Hawaii.“

“We had reservations at 11:00am (opening time) - we were glad to have a window seat overlooking Ala Moana Beach. ‘Cannot say enough about the EXEMPLARY SERVICE that was rendered by “Kalau” (sp? - I'm sorry, forgot the spelling of his name). It was First Class Service from the get-go. I'll definitely return with my family. The food was very delicious - generous portions. Thank you.“

“Stopped here for a quick bite to eat. We ordered a slice of pizza with a side Cesar salad. The Cesar dressing is home made and was authentic cesar dressing. The pizza is delicious thin crust. Highly recommend this place if you want freshly made food at a great price!“

“It is a 5 star all the way around. It has the best food and drinks on the island. Hands down there is nothing better. The atmosphere is incredible and something to experience. The staff are true professionals. They’re able to handle a full house like it is just an average day. I recommend the Kenzo steak, pasta carbonara, the fried ice cream, and the St. Jamison’s. That will set you up for a meal you’ll bring coming back for time and time again.“

“There's a lovely little Italian restaurant on King Street that you should definitely check out. The food is not only delicious but also very reasonably priced. The staff are friendly, and everything is made fresh when you order it. This cozy spot has a great variety of dishes, including classic pizzas, tasty appetizers, hearty salads, and sub sandwiches. My favorite dish to order is the antipasto salad along with a small la pizza Rina specialty combo.“

“A group of 8 of us had an amazing experience at Kayak Cafe which is located on the corner of Ala Moana Blvd and Ena Road. The service was exemplary and the food was delicious.
Our server, Roxanna, was very attentive, very personable, and took excellent care of us. We couldn't have been more pleased with the service.
The food was cooked perfectly to order, arriving hot to the table, the salads were fresh and crisp, the portions were generous, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their choices. We were there between the time that brunch is usually served and the lunch hours, so we were given the choice to order from either menu. Some of us opted for lunch and some for breakfast and everything was perfect.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very clean and they offer outdoor seating as well as indoor seating.
They have really good coffee, espresso, cappuccino and other specialty drinks. I had the cappuccino, which was excellent, and when two of us ordered regular coffee, they brewed us a fresh pot! The also have excellent fresh brewed ice tea.
If anyone is gluten intolerant as I am, they have delicious gluten free pizza on the menu as well as other gluten free choices.
The management has recently hired new staff and they obviously have gotten excellent training.
We will definitely come back again and highly recommend that you give them a try! If you have been there before, you will be amazed at how much better it is now.“

We can almost always find what we are looking for including gifts from local artists and made quite a few friends with some of the vendors. There is something for everyone. Also I recently became a vendor myself.“

“Fairly priced food where other Italian restaurants are at over $30 a plate. Nice staff and we sat right away for dinner. Proportions are mostly fair. They look small on these larger plates. Happy hour is 5 to 7:00 Monday through Friday makes the drinks more reasonable.

The spaghetti sauce is not very creamy and has lots of tomato chunks. The Alfredo and pink sauce are creamy and rich.

They also have deep fried Oreos so that's a bonus.“
