“We went here for some good poke and it was mostly great. My husband got the spicy ahi and salmon shoyu which were both delightful! I ordered the California ahi and was surprised to find giants chunks of imitation crab meat in it. I do not care for this at all so I picked it all out. I wish there had been descriptions under the options. I did ask about the spice level but I assumed that the different names were related to the sauce. Next time I will ask more questions.“

The wait staff, servers, hostesses and bartender were all gracious hosts. This was the first visit for my mom and sister who were equally impressed with everything. “By far one of the best meals my family and I ever had. The canoe appetizer was off the charts and the meals were even better. The ahi tuna and both the 16 is cab steak and the wagyu A-5 6oz was incredible and the desserts were even better. Highly recommend“

Atmosphere could use some work, only because for us Polynesian people, especially are bigger than Asians so its an adjustment when you need to walk up and in the way of ppl who phone order + the workers. The walkways are really petite.

“Small shop in a shopping center. Typical low-rent decor and layout. Incredible banh mi. Best I've had since living here, and I'm kind of obsessed with them. The BBQ pork is flavorful, the filings are balanced, and the bread is perfection.

The summer rolls were good, and the peanut sauce was top notch. My husband loved his pho and combination bahn mi.

Although the best breakfast buffet I found was at Four Seasons Bangkok. Fresh juices are served here. A bit disappointing that they do not serve any breakfast steak or some sort of....“

“Best food truck I’ve ever eaten from! I’m a western New Yorker, we cook and/or put hot sauce on everything. Not fully understanding all of the menu options, the owner, was so friendly, offered information about the types of fresh food he had and even offered us samples of the Ahi poke. Once a nay sayin skeptic, I’m now a true believer in raw fish as an amazing meal. I can’t say enough about how tasty this food was. We also had the Shrimp Tempura, Ahi Katsu and Limo Oi’o. All were absolutely some of the best food we had in over a week in Hawaii.“

“Visited this place twice and enjoyed it both times. Their menu suggests a recommended extra topping for each ramen, which I think is worth the extra 2 dollars or so. The first time, I had a chicken soup ramen with wontons and chili oil (the extra topping). I enjoyed the wontons and the fried onions. The spicy ramen went well with the calpico drink I got, which was sweet with a yoghurt flavor. The second time, I had calamari appetizer with spicy mayo, and the tanaka classic ramen with parmesan cheese powder (the extra topping). It had a very creamy tonkotsu broth with char siu pork and lots of fried onions as well. The cheese mostly sank to the bottom of the soup but that was alright. The food is on the salty side but quite delicious overall. Had a strawberry ramune with that, which is a soda with a marble covering the top.“

“After a long day of traveling we came here exhausted and starving. The atmosphere was nice, service was amazing and the food was excellent. We got the steak, garlic ship and the west side burger. Everything was delicious, we ate it all up!!!“

“Amazing, fun, exciting experience! The show was spectacular! Such a great way to spend an evening in Aulani. The food was not bad, they brought a bento box for my daughter so that was great. The drinks were really good and the bartenders were friendly, approachable, and even remembered my drink order after the first time!
I believe you can start making reservations as early as 6 months. We did the preferred seating, your seats are already assigned. Meaning, doesn't matter how early you arrive you won't get a better seat. Seating goes by when you ordered your tickets, so purchase the tickets as soon as possible. We did get front row seats so it worked out. We also did get there early and we're first in line. There are a few activities that take place so getting there early is probably the better idea.“

“Well my friends, Finally made it back to En Fuego! We all ordered our normal favorites and we all loved our dishes. I got the pastele stew with garlic chicken. As much as I enjoyed the stew, I was so sad that I didn't have more garlic chicken! It was amazing! Not overly garlicky or to hard. So freaking good. This is definitely my new favorite garlic chicken. We also ordered the squid luau and is was ono! Nice chunks of squid and just the right amount of coconut and sweetness. “We went here twice for breakfast while staying at Aulani. It was a cheaper option, and the food was wonderful. The bacon jalapeno fried rice hit the spot without breaking the bank. We shared the fruit pancakes with that and were very satisfied. We walked, but there were a few parking spots.“

“Like many other L&Ls the restaurant does look a little out of shape and run down but don’t let that fool you from coming. You will get fast service and very reasonably priced yummy food that’s packed full of flavor and handled by nice staff. It’s great to visit family in Hawaii once a year and go back to your favorites. And this place totally delivers in quality and flavor.

“I went to El Ranchero for dinner right before their Friday event. The ambience was nice, the restaurant has a vibe. A lot of people at the bar enjoying their pre party prep 🙃 I ordered beer and their birria tacos! 🌮 It was delicious! They serve chips and salsa as well. I didn’t stay for the party but I have heard good things about their events, so I do recommend! For chips&salsa, a glass of beer and the tacos my bill was $29. Not bad at all!“
