But my son was with me and four of his children are Japanese American and they know what they are and so does he he spent probably 10 years in Japan. So it was a great experience. I reserved an early dinner here a month before our trip for my husband’s birthday. Our 13 month old was fussy and I was worried she would disturb the peace of this place but the staff and other guests were SO nice. They gave her a coloring book, offered guests umbrellas when it started to drizzle, and we never felt rushed during our entire dinner. This was one of the best customer service experiences we’ve had- it was just a lovely experience.

I loved the our server’s wine recommendation. The signature pasta was amazing as expected, the ahi as well. And the BREAD/olive oil/tapenade was so good. I probably could have done without the farm salad I got though- it kinda had clashing flavors.

There aren't many seats at the restaurant, but it's popular so the wait is long. There are a lot of take out orders as well.
Come with miso soup or hot tea before ordering!
I waited a long time, but it was great value for money, it was delicious, and the food came out quickly!
I was surprised that the sashimi was 2-3 times the size of other places, and the fish was so fresh that it melted in your mouth. Highly recommended!
What was disappointing was that the Spicy Ahi don had a strong sesame oil taste, so it was a bit greasy.
I recommend ordering mainly sushi or sashimi where you can taste fresh ingredients rather than seasoned ones :)

“We went here twice for breakfast while staying at Aulani. It was a cheaper option, and the food was wonderful. The bacon jalapeno fried rice hit the spot without breaking the bank. We shared the fruit pancakes with that and were very satisfied. We walked, but there were a few parking spots.“

Brought kids plate out first which made adults going to buffet easier. Server came by frequently checking in on us.

Plenty of time for food and they don't start show until 1 hour after food getting starts so you don't have to rush and miss any of the show.

Got a quick order for takeout at this convenient location in Kapolei. Combo Tonkotsu Ramen with side gyoza and side beef curry. Great value for under $20. Can't go wrong. Sorry, I didn't take a pic, but it was worth it. Give it a try! ??“

“Well my friends, Finally made it back to En Fuego! We all ordered our normal favorites and we all loved our dishes. I got the pastele stew with garlic chicken. As much as I enjoyed the stew, I was so sad that I didn't have more garlic chicken! It was amazing! Not overly garlicky or to hard. So freaking good. This is definitely my new favorite garlic chicken. We also ordered the squid luau and is was ono! Nice chunks of squid and just the right amount of coconut and sweetness. B ordered the loco moco and he rated it a 11/10. Place is super clean, the staff very friendly as well! Well done En Fuego! My new favorite place in Kapolei. #supportlocal“

“It’s tough to find truly good Mexican food in Hawaii, but Taqueria El Ranchero in Kapolei was a total win! We started with chips and salsa along with the chorizo queso – both were full of flavor and a great way to kick things off. For our main dishes, we had tamales, tacos, and elote. Everything was delicious! The tamales were just a little overcooked, but still really tasty and clearly homemade.

What really stood out, besides the food, was the service. Even though the restaurant was busy, our young waiter (I didn’t catch his name) was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Our food came out quickly, and the whole experience felt smooth and well-managed.

On top of all that, the prices were surprisingly affordable – such a great value. We’ll definitely be going back. This place is a must-visit if you’re craving authentic Mexican food on Oahu!“

“We found this amazing place on google and we’re so glad we did! We loved Rina! She was so personable and sweet! I told her to make me a fruity drink! Not only did she deliver one amazing drink but two different drinks just as good! I ordered the garlic chicken with fried rice and it was delicious! I’ve never had anything like it before.
