Unfortunately, the live band playing downstairs was so loud we couldn’t have a conversation and had to keep asking our server to repeat himself. Two nearby tables left because of the noise. If you're hoping for a peaceful early dinner, skip the 4:30 PM time during happy hour music. Great restaurant, but the volume ruined the vibe.“

“Our experience was magical, thank you to all of the staff especially our server, Kaipo. The food service and view/location were top notch. The service was the highlight of the evening. I did a lot of research before choosing this luau and I am so glad I chose this one. I highly recommend. I couldn't believe how delicious the food was and the portions were huge. It was so much food also an open bar, including nonalcoholic versions of all of the drinks. The scenery was absolutely magical. We had such a beautiful evening and I am so appreciative of the staff. They wait on you hand and foot and I had better service here than you get in a five star restaurant. My water was never even half empty.... everyone works so hard here and you can tell they love what they do. I just can't say enough great things about this luau.“

“Stayed at Napili Shores and ate here the first morning. You have to get there early as this place opens at 730 and a line starts forming by 630. Limited seating. But once your in the food is fantastic, the service is quick and friendly, and the atmosphere/view doesn't get much better. Highly recommend it.“

And this was hands down the best locomoco I've ever had. It sounds crazy, but the seasoning in the patty and the gravy is just delicious. The option to get fried rice instead of white rice is nice, too.

“Stopped in right at opening on Friday, got the teriyaki steak and Korean BBQ. Both meals were cooked to order and fantastic. My steak was cooked to order perfectly. I also ordered an egg roll which was very tasty! The restaurant has bar seating and tables outside as well. I haven't been in several years and am so happy they are still here serving great food. It's affordable, filling and good!“

“Best hotel in Maui. They provide unlimited spa access unlike four seasons and Ritz, and location is perfect for snorkeling and paddle boarding . Turtles and seals are often visible from the beach . Not as many restaurants at other properties but the property itself is immaculate and leaves nothing to be desired .“

“Out of the way WONDERFUL restaurant in Maui. On a lark while out driving seeing the sights, we stopped at China Boat for lunch. What a jewel - authentic, flavorful, Chinese food served fresh and hot! The hot and sour soup was delicious as was the Shrimp Mixed Vegetables and the Chicken Fried Rice. Our appetizers Vegetable Egg Rolls were also delicious and served piping hot. The dishes were served family style with simple dishware - perfect for lunch at their outdoor covered patio seating area The owner was so friendly, accommodating, lovely and personable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant!“

“This place is great for take out and has generous portions. My wife and I split a meal and it was just the right portions. This location is more for takeout than dining in with only a handful of tables. They were doing a good business for a Monday night. The counter ordering process was fast and efficient. The food was tasty and well prepared. There is a reason L&L Hawaiian Barbecue is successful and that's because they do things right!“

Reasonably priced and great to take out for a day at the beach. We had an assortment of food items as we went a few times on our stay in Kahana. By far the best I have ever had Shrimp Cocktail - You cant go wrong with a classic favorite Fish & Chips - nicely fried - not greasy and large portion Grilled/Fried Fish Tacos - They were both equally delicious and large portions Oyster Shooter - I could have had a dozen Seaweed Salad - Fresh and great flavor Crab Cakes - OMG The piece de resistance though was was the fresh Mahi Mahi that we barbequed. We used the 10 minute soy ginger marinade and it was better than outstanding. All of the workers are so nice and helpful. They work hard and take care of you from start to finish. “This restaurant needs to set themselves up on Happy Cow. This free app highlights stores and restaurants around the world that offer vegan and vegetarian options. Pizza Paradiso offers vegan cheese! The Greek salad is vegan too. The feta cheese is in separate container. The staff is friendly and efficient. We ordered the Marguerita pizza with vegan cheese. It comes with a plant-based basil pesto (DELISH!) and balsamic glaze. Everything was delicious!! They have a robot cart that brings the pizzas out to your table. The customer has to take the pizzas off of the cart but still it is really cool to watch. They have a dairy free dole whip dessert too. They also have Greek food so the falafel would be another plant-based option. Please put yourselves on Happy Cow app and you will get many more customers. This a busy place! Popular. “We just so happened to stumble upon Slappy Cakes while driving by in Maui! We decided to check it out before heading back home from vacation and Slappy Cakes did NOT disappoint!! The food was incredible, the atmosphere was great, and everyone was very friendly. Coy was our server and we will never forget how awesome he was!! Not only was he an excellent and very prompt server but he stayed after closing time to finish a conversation with us about the island that left a lasting impact on our hearts. Most would have pushed us out, but not a single staff at Slappy Cakes rushed us out at close so we could enjoy our meal and our experience while also making powerful connections!
