“This burger is a spiritual experience. I am addicted to the bacon cheddar cheeseburger. Add the hot peppers (they aren’t too hot, more like a delicious slightly spicy pickle). The owner is really sweet and the food is both delicious and great price with a pretty wide menu. But trust me and please try the burger it’s honestly ridiculous it’s so good. A good selection of alcohol also.“

“This place was fantastic. The service was personal and world class. All of the workers there clearly had personal interest in making sure our experience was fantastic and that we loved the food. They even took extra special care to ask what we were doing next what we have already done our vacation and gave us a list of things that we should check out that were local before we left the island. We will absolutely go out of our way to come back to this place again.“

“Really good Hawaiian fare. We love the kalua pork and teriyaki chicken. If you get katsu chicken ask for extra sauce as they don't give near enough. We get take out from here every time we come to Maui. We got three plates of food for 2 adults and 2 boys (11 and 13) and we had enough leftover for lunch the next day.“

“First food on the island. The Wicked Ahi Katsu was good. I would recommend the Poke Plates though. Atmosphere was great with shade and chickens roaming. Ono Tacos was good as well. The steak tacos were alright but the chicken was much better. All around, good experience and would recommend for those looking for something close to the airport area.“

- mochiko chicken over garlic noodles 7.5/10: chicken was a bit dry... flavor was good though. garlic noodles tasted kinda old and dry as well. still yummy though!
- ramen meh 6/10: too fishy for my liking
- poke 9/10: great quality tuna, slimey and no mush. the sauce was also fire and there were little mochi crackers sprinkled inside. my favorite dish from here by far!
- fish sando 7.5/10 thin cut of fish but tasty. not too flavorful. more bread than fish but still good. bread was buttery.“

“Outstanding restaurant that many locals frequent. Owner recognized my accent as a Canadian tourist and we shot the breeze for a few minutes of his busy day. Large portions and good prices make it a hard to pass up. Already tried the location in Kahului, but this same meal better prepared and less salty. Mahalo ??“

“I ordered the combo plate of garlic shrimp and garlic ahi katsu.

It was utterly divine!!!! I wish I could take this plate home on the flight. I wouldn’t miss out on this meal.

My husband got the combo plate with the fukake fried poke and the ribeye and it was mouth watering. ALL the flavor and juiciness you could imagine. I 1000000000000% would recommend.“

“Kihei Fish House by Maui Grill: Fresh Flavors, Worth the Wait!

Kihei Fish House by Maui Grill is a highly recommended spot! Their coconut shrimp are delicious, and the grilled mahi-mahi with special sauce is so yummy. Every plate comes with tasty rice, sweet potato salad, and green salad. All the meals are consistently good! While the waiting time can be a bit long, the shaded outdoor seating with 6 long tables makes it comfortable. Definitely check this place out for fantastic seafood.“

“We ordered two breakfast sandwiches, one Spam, egg, and cheese, and the other Portuguese saugage(linguica), egg, and cheese. They both had great flavor, and were a decent portion, for a good price! The two sandwiches cost us less than one cost at a different breakfast spot we went to previously. The restaurant itself isn't very updated, but don't let that fool you!“

“This is an unassuming restaurant located in a strip mall just off of the beautiful beaches of Kihei, Maui that offers delicious fish tacos, fresh ahi & shrimp salads and yummy poke. (I understand they have another location, not too far away that probably serves similar dishes.) The advantage of this location in particular, is the bakery downstairs that fills the air with the smell of the tastiest cinnamon rolls. The portions here are generous and the quality of the seafood is superb. No frills when it comes to service; place your order at the counter, find a seat & wait for it to be delivered to your table. We had a large party of 12 and were able to all sit together, a nice perk for us. But they did forget one person's order, which was kind of a bummer because he had to wait so long for his food, most of us were finished eating ours by the time his arrived. So we shared some of our food with him while he waited. Not a problem since the portions were so large. Overall, I recommend Coconuts Fish Cafe with two thumbs up.“

“Tried Aloha Thai Fusion, and their Pad See Ew was hands down the best I had on the island even better than Thai Me Up. Great flavor, texture, and perfectly cooked noodles.

As for the Drunken Noodles, I’d still give the edge to Thai Me Up they do those a bit better in my opinion. But if Pad See Ew is your go-to, this is the spot.

Definitely coming back here on my next trip to try more of their menu. This is a must try if you're in Maui“

The care and concern from each and every staff member was evident, making sure that the best possible bottle of wine for our meal was chosen, that our water glass was never too empty, that each plate delivered was well executed and well presented and explained, when done each time dishes were taken away quickly, the pacing of the meal was well done, just everything and everything! Perfection! And a special note to Sasha- we already noted during our meal service- the finesse and skill you brought to the level of service was just outstanding! Kudos to you and to the team that supports you in making sure that each of your tables gets the attention that they deserve! To say that our anniversary dinner was memorable is truly an understatement! And then the Haleakala filet mignon, once again perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned and topped with compound butter that was melted at table side with rosemary. (It feels like we are saying perfect too much! But we do mean it!) Then to end the evening celebration with our chocolate lava cake surrounded by white and milk chocolate fondue with banana bread and fresh fruits was simply scrumptious! Chef Junior Ulep, Mahalo for our special night, with our deepest grateful hearts, we appreciate your mana and the joyfulness in which you have chosen to feed us and our fellow patrons at Kula Lodge Restaurant!“
