“When we arrived for our 11:00 am brunch reservation Sunday, the restaurant was empty except for one person at the bar. We were seated and our waiter Alan brought us menus and water promptly. There was a nice selection of reasonably priced brunch items. We each had a different type of Eggs Benedict (avocado, smoked salmon, and prime rib), which came with crispy country fried potatoes and roasted red peppers. The portions were huge with large amounts of salmon, avocado, and prime rib on each muffin half. The poached eggs and hollandaise sauce were perfectly cooked. We all thought our food choices were delicious and they were so filling we took leftovers home. Alan was a pleasant and attentive waiter. I'll definitely come here again soon for brunch.“

“We celebrated a big anniversary at Pai and WOW - they made it extra special. We did the four course menu with wine pairings. The service was top notch. The food was inspired, creative, delicious, and locally sourced. Though the portions of each dish looked small, it was more than enough food and so delicious you wanted to eat every bite! The wine pairings were spot on, absolutely perfect with our chosen courses. The space has such a lovely vibe - clean and modern, but comfortable and well appointed. There really isn't another dining experience quite like this on the island. Justine and Kevin have created such a beautiful place with incredible food and service. “What to say...

I stopped in for lunch with a friend. They(the bar) had a recent death of one of their cooks. So the typically jovial atmosphere was a little mournful. If you are local and care about local places and people, please, please stop by and have a toast for their newly departed. We are all in this world alone but the comfort of good people in our time of sadness goes a long way to our own path back to normal.

Now about the place, the food was great! Gyros were just like one on a Greek island. I would recommend the cheese curds or the loaded tater tots. The drinks are drinks, I don't need to tell you about how a beer tastes.

The atmosphere is very mid west. If you've never been to a local Chicago bar this is the closest that you can get to outside of Chicago.

Next time you're in Chinatown stop by and kick back, relax and enjoy.“

My mixed plate was chicken katsu and mochiko chicken. My friend got beef cutlet and roast pork Mixed Plate. Both is us thoroughly enjoyed our lunch plate! Asian salad was just right flavor with sesame oil and fried wanton. A little extra was chow fun under the meat. And the price was really reasonable here!! ($15 each). Parking lot is just next to the restaurant, very convenient. It was really satisfied day for me.“

I usually get cinnamon bites and I was kind of sus about the way they made it because it didn’t look like the cinnamon sugar got on every pretzel but was so surprised when I ate them all and they all had cinnamon flavor on it. “Perfect place to grab a bite when you’re near Waimanalo Beach. It was refreshing to see some good old school prices for some good old school food. I ate their 2 cheeseburger deluxe + drink for $10.

It reminded me of a headline I saw floating around the internet that 2 cheeseburgers is better than eating 1 cheeseburger and 1 medium fries because you double your protein while cutting own carbs and you’re more full at the end. I don’t think that’s why they made this meal deal but I’m so glad they did.

There’s two selections of seating one in the bar and the other in the restaurant side. We ended up getting the restaurant side bc it was a little bit quieter.
