“I’ve dined in and done take out. They’re usually busy for dinner time and it’s limited seating so come early or you can wait. The staff is friendly and it’s quaint inside.
I like the free miso soup they bring before your food, and there’s plenty of options to choose from. Everything tasted fresh and was delicious. The rolls are huge and well worth the price!

“This is a literal hole in the wall, easy to miss in a covered parking lot near the McDonald’s. There’s outdoor seating, pretty much right in the parking lot.

Food quantity is high and the sushi rolls have some of the lowest ratios (in a good way) of rice to non-rice. The fried food was very good, not too greasy with a great crunch and the food tasted very fresh.

Service was exceptionally friendly. The nice man that took our order and served us even brought out some free bottles of water for us.

“Top sushi restaurant in Hawaii Oahu. It is located inside the Ritz Carlton Hotel Waikiki. Serving omakase menu at the sushi counter. Veyr hard to make reservation as very limited seats. Overall the cooking are very good. All sushi and dishes including dessert are delicious. It is worth a Michelin 2 Stars. Service is very good as well. It is nice to have good quality sushi sashimi outside of Japan. Improvement to make is to have a better and bigger selections of Wine and Sake. Delicious“

“Super Q serves high quality sushi that my family and I were happy to find in Hawaii. The Crunchy Ahi Tuna Roll was our all time favorite! We ordered the mango strawberry smoothie as well, which was delicious. Would definitely come back again on our next trip to Hawaii!

“Wow!! We got recommended to go to Kats Sushi by 2 locals while on our trip to Oahu when we asked for sushi recommendations so had to try and were not disappointed!

“We found this place on another online platform after going to the Dole Plantation. It is located in a strip mall that looks old and run down so we were skeptical. We located the restaurant in the corner of the lot (next to the Goodwill). We sent a scout in take a look prior lol. The scout gave us the all clear so we entered the restaurant, which was clean and had open tables. We were greeted by a nice man who took the time to get to know us and give us some island history. Ok to the food: There were 4 of us. Each ordered a different entree. 1. Spam hand roll and a tempura hand roll - deliciousness 2. Energy roll- this tasted very fresh and was a roll with eel and avocado on top with eel sauce- deliciousness 3. Ahi poke bento box- came out looking just like the picture on the menu( how many times does that happen!) lots of fresh fish and rolls- deliciousness 4. Tempura shrimp bowl with spicy sauce on top. Tempura shrimp Packed in a bowl on a bed of rice. - deliciousness 5. Spicy ahi poke bowl- came out with tons of fresh ahi covered in spicy mayo and sriracha sauce. - delicious if you like spicy fresh fish. This mom and pop shop deserves your business. The food (all of it) tasted fresh and made with care. I would not write it if it wasn’t true. They will serve you a complimentary miso soup to start ( no spoons here, sip out of cup!) “I recently visited this small sushi spot and had a great experience. The sushi was incredibly fresh, and the chef was very friendly. I also ordered a few rolls and forgot to take pictures. Spicy ahi with cucumber was tasty. The staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. There's free parking just across the street, which is a nice bonus. “Vegan Options! We got the vegan inari in a burrito. They had 3 sauces that were vegan - an onion dressing, green sriracha and a white tabasco. They said the green sriracha and white tabasco were spicy, but I didn't feel that way. The white tabasco was delicious.

“You do need to go there early in the AM. They do run out before closing. Sometimes if you know what you want it is best to order ahead of time. My husband loves the chicken and oshi sushi. They do mix the type of sushi (rice) with either musubi, maki or/and oshi. The bento comes in two sizes. Check out their website for choices.“

“I wonder why they serve human food but have the name “fish food”? hm, the world may never know. anywho, i had the spicy ahi bowl (?) that came with rice, some fish, and 2 pieces of gyoza with sauce. the fish was good and had the spiciness of a 3.5 on the caucasian scale of spicy; has a little kick but won’t make you cry out for jésus or anything. the convenience of having poke on base was amazing but the portion size was not! $15 or so for a small bento sized meal is a little pricey as poke bowls at foodland are about $5 cheaper and they give you more fish and rice as well.For the size of fish food hawaiis spicy ahi, i have attached a pic to show the size with an ice breakers ice cube gum for a scale (didn’t have banana for scale)“

“I ordered via phone on a Saturday and picked up half hour later. Service was great and order accurate. All food was freshly made. We enjoyed karaagi chicken, spicy tuna donburi, shrimp donburi, unagi donburi. sushi and rice were excellent. Orders included miso soup. Will definitely return.“

“I had the unexpected pleasure of enjoying drinks and snacks at Obake. We were early for reservations at Skull and Crown. The hostess recommended Obake, which is their sister bar and restaurant, just around the corner. We were seated at the counter across from chef Christian and watched him craft all the handrolls served during our visit. First, the drinks: we had the Momiji, the Will o' the Whisp, the Fallen Angel, and the Feels like Summer. This isn't your everyday bar. The cocktails took some time to craft, but they did not disappoint . The Momiji was their nod to fall, while the Feels like Summer, well, you get it. While each drink was light and enjoyable, my favorite was the FLS. A nod to the Old Fashioned, but light and bright.

The house pickles and Yukari Fries were perfect sharing plates. We also tried the Hamachi, Summer Toro, Ho Hayn, and Bangsilog rolls. The Summer Toro had strawberries in it that paired beautifully with the spicy Toro. The Ho Hayn was served with a small dish of Hawaiian chili pepper water, either dipped in the water or followed by a chaser sip of the water. The Ho Hayn left me wanting more. The Bangsilog was probably my favorite just because it brought me back to breakfast in my Filipino mother's kitchen. It was all the flavors of my childhood in one roll.

Our server, whose name slips my memory, was a delight. She was attentive and explained the concepts behind the drinks she brought us.

Christian was a joy to watch and a joy to speak with.

“Found this small restaurant as I walked around the area. Prices have increased from the menu I saw posted on here. Most are three dollars higher. There is a small seating area and I suppose you can eat there but this seems more like an order and go type of place. Food is decent. I found the portions to be spot on. I couldn’t finish my bento box and I took a bite of the poke bowl my wife ordered. Both were good. Fresh stuff. I’d recommend for sure.“

“Absolutely love the home-like atmosphere. The gentleman in the front was very comforting and relaxed. He even took the time to take my food out of the bag when he realized I was dining in for lunch. He even gave me a bowl of Miso The sushi is good - Spicy Ahi comes finely cut, not cubed like foodland... and to me, it's a winner. I also got their grilled salmon Maki which was tasty, not drenched with unagi or anything like that, just finely drizzled so you could still taste the fish. Overall lovely place to come if you're trying to get away from those big box brand and food courts.“
