“This is a charming location in converted old gas station. We each had a 24 oz smoothie (coconut, mango, and a couple of mixed combinations) to start while waiting for our food outside on a picnic bench. The food was one of the best we’ve had on the islands: Kahlua pork, Kalbi ribs, Teriyaki chicken, Furikake Ahi, squid luau, fresh caught fish, fish tacos, macaroni salad, tossed salad and coconut cake with pineapple for dessert. Highly recommended!“

“Absolutely incredible experience from the minute we arrived! Everything is so organized and welcoming. We enjoyed seeing the roasted pig being pulled from the ground and learning about the traditions. My kids enjoyed the tattoos, and we all found some special things to purchase from the artisans on site. My husband is active duty military and he was truly humbled by the special recognition and lei. I appreciate you recognizing all our military me. And women. And this was all in addition to the meal and the luau show, which was incredible! The talent of the performers is amazing and we were all so entertained throughout the entire night! Also, my son lost his wallet while we were at the Luau and the next day they called me that his id and card had been found! We are so grateful! We were leaving the island too quickly to go back and pick it up but they mailed it out the next day to us. Truly amazing people who made us feel like family. I cannot recommend Mauka Warriors Luau highly enough!!“

“Like most places in Waianae, there aren't tourist dollars floating bad food with one time purchases. Bad restaurants with good marketing can survive in waikiki, but when you're customer base is 90% people who live within a square mile, you have to provide good value and bbq kai is a good example of that.“

I like to grab platters and pans of different dishes from them. Larger portions at more reasonable prices compared to other restaurants nearby.“

Its not a fancy place, just a simple, hometown spot, but i gave them 5 stars for 5 reasons.#1 Consistency - What i ate many years ago tastes the same every time we went including today. Im not left scratching my head figuring they changed cooks again. If they did, I didn’t notice. What makes me so sure? I eat the SAME THING every time.#2 Accuracy- They have never messed up my order. Nothing different, nothing missing, I get what I ordered. Utensils too.#3 Hot Food- I paid higher prices at places 5 minutes away from my house that left me feeling cold. Literally. Not here though.#3 Communication- They answer the phone quickly, I understand what they are saying and they understand me. Pleasant.#4 Convenience- Fast Service. Good location. Good parking. I always need medication picked up at Longs so picking up a meal at the same time makes it easy.#5 Local Business- Always support local.My personal favorite is always the Honey Garlic Chicken plate with all white rice. Nice,Sweet Honey sauce with perfect amount of garlic, not overpowering and Crispy juicy Chicken. Very flavorful. Good portions. My husband enjoys the homemade hamburger steak with onions and requested gravy all over everything. Fries are crinkle cut. They are decent. Good selection of other different plate lunches as well with pictures. If you haven’t been, we recommend this humble spot in Wahiawa.“

“Very positive and friendly crew. Very patient and helpful when answering questions for first-time visitors. Meat (pause) was excellently marinated. They have a selection of sauces available, but they are definitely not necessary. Hope to visit at least one more time before I leave Hawaii.

Dietary restrictions: They were able to happily accommodate my egg allergy.“

“There's not much I need to say,this place has perfect food,perfect atmosphere, and perfect service.their menu is huge ranging from hawaii to American to English.you can cater here and the prices aren't to high.

Parking: There are plenty of parking spot but it could be hard to find some during happy hour.(lunch)“

“Food was hot and fresh. Restaurant was clean. Lots of food for the price. The seafood platter was fantastic. Great flavor! Service was fast. Two of us were eating the platter and I didn’t even say that we were, but we were given forks and napkins for both of us. Would definitely make the trip to North Shore again. “Great food but I guess there's a rice shortage. Before it was more rice then meat now it's wheres the rice. Prices really have gone up and so has the food. Quality food is there at a price one of the oldest restaurant chains on the island still has some of the greatest island cuisine

Parking: Parking is a little tight especially for longer vehicles like full sized trucks

Kid-friendliness: Has a kids menu and also they offer the standard crayons and paper

“Im convinced that I've tasted the best burgers on island and this place tops the teri burger list. I've been to Teddys, L&L, Seven Brothers, The Shack, Hukilau, and a few others. They are all fantastic in their own special way..but if youre craving a teri burger...this is the place!! The teri burger here is champ and its simply because their patty is such high quality. Nowhere on island will you find a better quality teri burger. I still very much recommend the places above but the burger and the special sauce here is untouchable. I always make the drive when i visit and so long as theyre around, ill continue to do so. Btw, the place is Taste-Tzs not Faiths Place anymore.“
