Of particular mention is the dynamite shrimp - crispy panko-coated shrimp with a masago smelt aioli and a unagi glaze, and the crab ramen with cilantro, scallion, Thai basil and jalapeño in a truffle butter broth - UMAMI BOMB! I only wish I had room for the lobster-crab ravioli in a truffle-Madeira-cream sauce. Just thinking about it gives me the shakes. Glad I’m moving to Kona, or I’d never survive waiting for that dish (!)“

Just be mindful that it's just a window on the side of a building, so don't plan to sit and eat it there. They make it on the spot, so prepare to wait 15-20, but it's definitely worth the wait.“
“Went on a Friday night and Parking lot was full but not too many customers inside. It was a rainy night and the parking lot is gravel so a lot of water puddles and not a safe walk. The food is pricey but it was good. Had the shrimp pasta and shared a couple of sushi rolls which tasted great. The half portions are big. Nice piano playing.“
“This was a great anniversary dinner and the ambiance was so romantic. Yes it was extremely windy but that woot of their control. I would recommend for good drinks and dinner. Be prepared to drop at least 100$ per a person though depending on what you eat and quantity of drinks.“
“I love sushi because I'm from Japan. Shiono is definitely the same quality as the ones eating in nice sushi restaurants in Japan!! Fish was very fresh and sushi rice was perfectly cooked. And l was really surprised their shoyu ramen was super delicious, very flavorful chicken dashi soup. This ramen is a perfect dish after drinking. Only a little disappointed point was sushi was a bit small for the price, but I will definitely visit here everytime I come back to big island!!!!“
