“I was visiting Honolulu from Wisconsin, and this food truck ended up being one of the best surprises of the whole trip. I’ll be honest the walk to it looks a little sketchy at first since you head down this small alley, but don’t let that fool you. Once you get back there, it’s a whole different story. I don’t think I would get the Hal burger again. The steak was pretty dry and didn’t mesh as well with the burger as I thought it would. I also got their OG deluxe burger and that was significantly better. If I were to do it again, I’d order it without lettuce and tomato and do extra onions!

I ordered it cooked medium and Waikiki style (that's bacon, cheddar,BBQ,and a hash brown, LTO.) It hit on all points what you want for a burger. Great char, correct temp, sloppy as all hell. To top it off the guy at the counter gave customer service that is rarely seen these days with the all the fixins in the bag automatically. I'm looking for the napkins, and found wet naps!!! “This place is way better and cheaper than McDonald's. I really like their avocado bacon cheeseburger it’s made with a delicious sweet bun. I like that you get super fresh avocado and fresh lettuce on it- it’s crazy that other places don’t even put lettuce on their burgers anymore! I think because they also do salads they always have great fresh lettuce. The fries here are large and they are piping hot, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and delicious. You can also choose onion rings. I’ve tried their salads too and they’re good, and healthy.

Five of us for dinner and everyone was completely satisfied and very happy with their dinners. They even had specialty soft drinks for the kids.
I have never been a fan of smoked meats but I did have the smoked prime rib based on the reviews. It was amazing! Juicy, flavorful and tender. My son had the rack of lamb for the first time. He was also very happy with his choice.

Blue Water Shrimp & Seafood at Hilton Hawaiian Village absolutely delivered. I ordered the panko-crusted calamari steak with lemon butter caper sauce, and it was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and not rubbery at all, which is hard to get right with calamari.

The lemon butter caper sauce was amazing: bright, rich, and perfectly balanced without overpowering the dish. The sides were just as impressive. The rice was fluffy and well-seasoned, the corn had just the right touch of salt and pepper, and the salad rounded everything out nicely. Even the plate presentation was top notch, which you don’t always expect from a casual seafood spot.

At $20, the price was outstanding for both the quality and the portion size. I also noticed another customer’s shrimp plate—large shrimp and cooked beautifully, which definitely caught my attention for next time.

On top of the great food, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall, this was a fantastic meal, and I’ll absolutely be back again during my trip. Highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the Hilton Hawaiian Village area. 🌴🍤“

One of the guys offered me a sample of an excellent coffee blend he'd put together; I'd definitely recommend a cup if you're looking for a nice pick-me-up after dinner, as it's clear he's no amateur to the craft. He also gave me some advice on making a good batch of cold brew at home, which I always appreciate.

Food was made to order really fast: I don't remember exactly how long since we were chatting, but maybe five minutes? Deluxe burger was outstanding and made with fresh ingredients, without any frilly extraneous stuff: bun, thick beef patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion (your choice of cooked or raw on that last one). Condiment table is there if you want to add anything to your food, but I thought it was excellent as-is and didn't need anything. The waffle dog is a nostalgic and quintessential classic that was delicious, and that banana ono ono shake! You get a spoon, not a straw, and it's obvious why-- this thing was ridiculously thick and rich and smooth and the highlight of my order. I'm gonna try to go back tomorrow to get a chocolate shake next.

Combined with the fact that this is extremely reasonably priced food in the city, don't overthink it-- If they're open and you're nearby, just go and support these guys! You'll get a cheap and great meal out of it.

A really good chef should totally revamp the menu and make this place rock again.“

With the first bite you could tell just how fresh it was - perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Just a heads up, there might be small hard time understanding sometimes due to the owner's accent. But be patient, communication works out, and the food is absolutely worth it. Parking can be tricky - it's one of those places we only go to when we see a spot open. We got lucky yesterday with an empty space, but two trucks swooped in as soon as we pulled in! Despite the potential parking hassle, Pan's Kitchen is a hidden gem. Highly recommend it for the incredible ahi (and hopefully a parking spot)!“
