“We live in Ankeny, but very often drive to the Johnston Panera to enjoy our weekly coffee/pastry date. This location is obviously managed well. It is always clean and the pastries are not over baked. The coffee bar is also always clean as is the microwave. Coffee is always fresh and if it isn't they immediately bring out a fresh pot. Also this location seems to be well staffed! Our compliments to the management and staff of this Johnston location! Well done!“

“I was in Iowa for a trip and tried McAlister's as it was near my hotel. The staff there are extremely nice and helped me get the best from the menu. I ordered the grilled chicken salad which was huge including an unsweet iced tea. I enjoyed the salad. I will come again to try their sandwiches next“

“I received the wrong order at 1st but they made it right and brought out my correct order. By then I had enough soup and salad to not want the meal. Packed up my food and when I went to eat it later it was much too salty for my liking, but my young daughters enjoyed their food and especially the birthday cake they gave me for my birthday 🎂 I wanted a strawberry cake, they were out so they improvised with strawberries from the bar area. My daughters loved the cake. Great customer service by the server and manager.“

“I’ve worked with Evan and his staff the last couple years to get pizza for Centennial boys’ tennis team meals. They have been amazing to work with and very accommodating, even with weather related changes to the scheduled meals. The pizza has been delicious and the boys love it. The 26 inch pizzas are awesome for feeding large groups. I would highly recommend Dough Co in Ankeny!“

“If I didn't know I was in Des Moines, I'd believe Allora was in Milan, Italy. The food was fresh and delicious, and the coffee was perfection. The service was great, both unobtrusive and attentive (a balance not a lot of American restaurants at this price point seem to understand. Centro also does a great job balancing the two!)“

I haven’t been to Olive Garden in years, but people are sleeping and they gave me a free dessert for my birthday go Olive Garden. Everybody needs to come here.!!! “Went with my niece before an appointment. Showed up a little before 9 and Zuella was the cashier. She was very personable and polite. She had a warm feeling about her. We dined in and my niece and I both got the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. Both sandwiches were fresh and Zuella came out and checked on us. She was very hospitable. Restaurant was clean. What I did appreciate was there was a table of staff all sitting together eating behind us. Whether it was them on break or about to start/ended shift, it was nice to see they were given that time and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Great experience.“

“New to the East side, and still are working on getting correct orders because of that, but we were glad there were a couple of order mistakes because we got to try things we might not have otherwise! The brisket sandwiches are amazing as is the smoked Turkey! Piled high with just the right amount of smoke and the sauce was perfect! I’m glad I got the smoked Turkey as it was tender and juicy,. I am allergic to onions so I usually can’t eat potato salad at restaurants, but their has no onions and was wonderful! And the fried Okra was so good! It was getting busy, so the owners little girl brought us menus and we were got to talk to her… such a nice family and such a great addition to the East side! We will definitely be back“

The bartender was my waitress and she disappeared (no one else was behind the bar or checking on me) for quite a while after my food was delivered. I would have liked to had a water and some more breadsticks with my pasta, but that didn't happen. Overall, the food was top-notch and the service was marginal.“

“I recently ordered 2 large (catering size) orders of nuggets for our son’s graduation party from this store. They are one of his favorites! The nuggets were delivered on time to our home by an employee of the store at no charge. They were fresh and hot upon arrival! It didn’t take long for them to disappear 😋 I was able to do everything through the app—very easy! I ordered from this restaurant in particular because their minimum order amount was lower. The manager confirmed my order via email and even followed up with me after. I could not have been more happy with the whole experience! I highly recommend this store for your CFA catering needs.“
