“We live in Ankeny, but very often drive to the Johnston Panera to enjoy our weekly coffee/pastry date. This location is obviously managed well. It is always clean and the pastries are not over baked. The coffee bar is also always clean as is the microwave. Coffee is always fresh and if it isn't they immediately bring out a fresh pot. Also this location seems to be well staffed! Our compliments to the management and staff of this Johnston location! Well done!“

“I’ve worked with Evan and his staff the last couple years to get pizza for Centennial boys’ tennis team meals. They have been amazing to work with and very accommodating, even with weather related changes to the scheduled meals. The pizza has been delicious and the boys love it. The 26 inch pizzas are awesome for feeding large groups. I would highly recommend Dough Co in Ankeny!“

“I was in Iowa for a trip and tried McAlister's as it was near my hotel. The staff there are extremely nice and helped me get the best from the menu. I ordered the grilled chicken salad which was huge including an unsweet iced tea. I enjoyed the salad. I will come again to try their sandwiches next“

“Yesterday, my 8 year old granddaughter and my daughter in law came to your restaurant for lunch.
My granddaughter is on a strict diet due to health reasons. The employees were so caring and were going out of their way to make her lunch pleasurable! Her mother and I appreciate that so much!!!

“Went with my niece before an appointment. Showed up a little before 9 and Zuella was the cashier. She was very personable and polite. She had a warm feeling about her. We dined in and my niece and I both got the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. Both sandwiches were fresh and Zuella came out and checked on us. She was very hospitable. Restaurant was clean. What I did appreciate was there was a table of staff all sitting together eating behind us. Whether it was them on break or about to start/ended shift, it was nice to see they were given that time and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Great experience.“

There are a lot of food options in local bites and downtown for me to choose from, but I consistently keep coming here because they are so friendly and so attentive. They always remember what I get they always have conversations with me but most of all the food is always so fresh and taste so good.“

“New to the East side, and still are working on getting correct orders because of that, but we were glad there were a couple of order mistakes because we got to try things we might not have otherwise! The brisket sandwiches are amazing as is the smoked Turkey! Piled high with just the right amount of smoke and the sauce was perfect! I’m glad I got the smoked Turkey as it was tender and juicy,. I am allergic to onions so I usually can’t eat potato salad at restaurants, but their has no onions and was wonderful! And the fried Okra was so good! It was getting busy, so the owners little girl brought us menus and we were got to talk to her… such a nice family and such a great addition to the East side! We will definitely be back“

“It's a Panera, on par with any other Panera. Good bagels, never had a bad drink from here, a little compact to fit a lot of seating but not claustrophobic. Can get a lot loud and might be difficult to hear when your order is called, but the pickup area is obvious and easy to check. Overall solid place and never had any issues.“

For context He greeted every single person that walked in the door. Checked on every single customer That was sitting down, including myself. Picked up a little bit of trash, wiped down some tables and did everything in his power to make sure that every single customer had a five star experience as they come in. Jorden’s dedication and passion for his job almost brings me to tears because of how much he enjoys it. I watched this man single-handedly put a smile on over 15 different people’s face in a span of 10 minutes. I have every reason to believe that Jorden is the spitting image of what a perfect employee is. I hope the management Understands that by textbook definition, Jorden has to be one of the best employees in the entirety of the company.“

“I recently ordered 2 large (catering size) orders of nuggets for our son’s graduation party from this store. They are one of his favorites! The nuggets were delivered on time to our home by an employee of the store at no charge. They were fresh and hot upon arrival! It didn’t take long for them to disappear 😋 I was able to do everything through the app—very easy! I ordered from this restaurant in particular because their minimum order amount was lower. The manager confirmed my order via email and even followed up with me after. I could not have been more happy with the whole experience! I highly recommend this store for your CFA catering needs.“

“There was a sign for where you could order your meals but it wasn’t very visible so we had gotten in line for adding the ingredients and making the sandwiches (which we thought was the start of the line) but then had to go back to the front to order. Very crowded don’t recommend going during the weekend especially lunch hours. Their internet was down so they could only do charges up to 25 dollars one at a time. The kimchi Philly was delicious. The associate who made our sandwiches and took payment was helpful and efficient“
