50 Best Coffee Shops in Boise

“Today is my mom’s birthday and I surprised her with a trip to this bakery. I’ve looked for sweet pastry shops to eat at in Boise, and I recently heard about this place! The options looked so appetizing from outside the glass, and looked even better on a plate served in front of us! I bought 4 pastries and 2 drinks for 50$ including my tip, and this shop is top tier. Holy moly I have never tasted such exquisite, divine pastry goods in my 17 years of life. I got the apple juice, my mom got the Turkish coffee, which wasn’t too bitter but not too sweet. and for pastries we got the blueberry vanilla tart, pistachio blackberry tart, hazelnut cream choux, and caramel white chocolate choux. Everything was balanced in each flavor, texture, and creativity. My mom loved the white chocolate caramel choux, and I LOVED the blueberry vanilla tart. I damn near moaned when the flavors hit my taste buds. Next time I go that will be the only thing I order because good lord is that crafted by gods hands. This place was an absolute 10/10, i recommend this place if you want a sweet treat that won’t make you feel icky after.“

I recently ordered a blackberry astro syrup and its so delicious I put a splash of it in every cup of coffee I make, and it tastes really good with my other coffee pods I get from Black rifle coffee company, the salty Caramel latte pods I mix the astro syrup with that and the ground Gold espresso coffee from Alchemist and it turns out to be the best cup of coffee I have ever tasted! “Spoken Coffee is such a breath of fresh air! I couldn't even wait to take photos of my coffee before diving in. The owner, Ash, was wonderful to talk with. Had great stories about her labor of love creating this gorgeous, warm atmosphere and thrifting to find homey decor to create such a welcoming vibe. I will absolutely be back to enjoy the music, the amazing coffee, very affordable prices, and the super comfy furniture. There is also plenty of space to plug in your phone or computer.

“Last night (July 24, 2025), our peaceful Idaho Israel Alliance meet-up at Push & Pour Coffee on S. Latah St. was disrupted by a group of aggressive anti-Israel agitators. Though we had notified the café in advance and were simply enjoying our first monthly gathering, these individuals showed up shouting hostile slogans—including “death to Israel,” “death to the IDF,” and “you aren’t welcome in Idaho”—while repeatedly trying to provoke a confrontation. Despite our calm and respectful conduct, the café employee asked our group—not the disruptors—to leave, stating, “We don’t support your cause and you aren't welcome here.” We complied without fuss. The agitators remained until Boise Police arrived and professionally trespassed them from the property. We’re sharing this because no one should be harassed or removed from a business for meeting peacefully—or for being Jewish, which is exactly what this felt like. We thank Boise PD for their respectful handling of the situation and remain committed to civil discourse, mutual respect, and the freedom to assemble.- IIA.“

Andrew, the owner, is flat-out awesome — the kind of guy who knows your name, your bike, and your favorite coffee order. Speaking of coffee… hands down, this is some of the best coffee in Boise — maybe the best I’ve ever had (and I take my caffeine seriously).

The bike side is just as impressive. I’ve managed to mess up my electric bike more times than I can count, and these guys have had it fixed quick, every single time. Whatever they repair stays fixed — and that’s saying a lot. They know their stuff and treat every customer like a regular.

It’s the kind of place that makes you want to hang out — grab a killer cup of coffee, talk bikes, and leave in a better mood than you came in. One of my favorite spots in Boise, no question about it. Do yourself a favor and check it out — once you go, it’ll be your new go-to too.“

“First time visiting Moon’s Cafe downtown, and the experience was one of a kind. Firstly, you walk into the restaurant on the second floor, and the atmosphere greets you warmly. The decor of the restaurant is just so well thought out and the place is well lit, with a vintage classic style. Secondly, we were attended to by Dakota who gave us impeccable service and was very kindly attentive to us, coming to check in on us intermittently to make sure we were happy with our food and service. Lastly, I had the best Benedict I've ever tasted in all my times of trying breakfast restaurants. All in all, the experience was a great first impression and I will definitely be coming back again and again to this restaurant.“

“My favorite thing about Dutch Bros besides the lengthy conversations is all the free coffee they give me on the outside of the cup. One would anticipate having to pay extra for this. The year over year deterioration like many businesses since 2020 is also appreciated. I can't wait until they let all their landscaping go by the wayside the same way the far left pharmacies all over town have to match the the agenda because beautiful lush landscapes are somehow white supremacy.
