“My husband and I travel a lot and we love to visit coffee shops. This one, by far, is one of our favorites. The owner, Bridget, was so kind! And she really knows how to make a delicious coffee. Day one I had a cortado, day two was a mocha. Both were *perfect*
If you have the chance, you should stop by. Stay awhile. Check out the beautiful jewelry she makes and peak into the back where the motor cycles are. Can’t wait to come back again!“

“I stop here as often as I can when in Boise! Most recently I opted for one of their seasonal specialty cold drinks & a Kouign Amman pastry for a birthday splurge. SO GOOD! Serious up drinks but made with creative whimsy & love!“
“I recently stopped into Slick Rock Coffee and it instantly felt like one of those hidden gems you’re excited to find.
The latte I ordered was smooth and flavorful, clearly made with card; and the baked goods tasted fresh and homemade. It’s the kind of place where you end up staying longer than you planned because the atmosphere is so comfortable.
What really stood out was the people. Even though every table was full and there was a steady line the entire time I was there (mid-morning on a Wednesday!), the barista still took the time to chat and ask about my day. That kind of genuine friendliness is rare.
Great coffee, delicious baked goods, and a warm local vibe. Slick Rock Coffee already feels like a Boise favorite in the making.

“My husband and I stopped by over the weekend before heading to the Cirque and this coffee was such a welcome surprise. Not to be dramatic or anything but this place has the best drip coffee I’ve ever had. We talked about it our entire trip and will be ordering after we get home. “I love how any of their coffee roasts are smooth and delicious. I recently ordered a blackberry astro syrup and its so delicious I put a splash of it in every cup of coffee I make, and it tastes really good with my other coffee pods I get from Black rifle coffee company, the salty Caramel latte pods I mix the astro syrup with that and the ground Gold espresso coffee from Alchemist and it turns out to be the best cup of coffee I have ever tasted! I was trying to find a link on their website where I can post a review but I could only find the Facebook page to leave a review.“

“Last night (July 24, 2025), our peaceful Idaho Israel Alliance meet-up at Push & Pour Coffee on S. Latah St. was disrupted by a group of aggressive anti-Israel agitators. Though we had notified the café in advance and were simply enjoying our first monthly gathering, these individuals showed up shouting hostile slogans—including “death to Israel,” “death to the IDF,” and “you aren’t welcome in Idaho”—while repeatedly trying to provoke a confrontation. Despite our calm and respectful conduct, the café employee asked our group—not the disruptors—to leave, stating, “We don’t support your cause and you aren't welcome here.” We complied without fuss. The agitators remained until Boise Police arrived and professionally trespassed them from the property. We’re sharing this because no one should be harassed or removed from a business for meeting peacefully—or for being Jewish, which is exactly what this felt like. We thank Boise PD for their respectful handling of the situation and remain committed to civil discourse, mutual respect, and the freedom to assemble.- IIA.“

“Best cup of coffee available in Boise Idaho!!! Black, blended, doesn't matter the do all of it well. They roast their beans perfectly, not burnt like other places. You can enjoy the taste of the coffee, with a hint of your favorite flavorings. My favorite: 6 shot Latte with SF Butter Rum, Heavy cream.“

“Closest thing I've seen to a head shop in the coffee industry. And I mean that as a compliment.
Amazing Espresso machine, pour over program and cold brew systems. First coffee shop I've ever seen that has Invested significant money into their water chemistry.
They also have over six types of beans as well as over three types of geisha beans. On the top of all that, it's a bike repair shop. Absolutely one of the best coffee shops I've ever been to.“

“A must try! Fabulous acai bowl made on site with fresh fruit, honey, coconut 🥥, granola, and peanut butter. 🤤 A delicious white chocolate mocha, and to die for donuts! Also, the area out front was so cute and accommodating to sit and enjoy your breakfast in the sunshine around the fire pit🔥. The girls working were so friendly, fast, and efficient. “Nice dining experience and good food. I had left to use the restroom while my boyfriend paid, who had asked if I could box the food when I got back, as he needed to leave early for an appointment. I returned to find the food was thrown away with the empty box there, which was no issue an honest misunderstanding, but the staff were very kind and had it remade for his to-go box. Very good service I wish I had caught the waiters name but he was kind. Would recommend :)“

“Great place overall! I would do 4.5 stars if it allowed. Coffee can be a tad inconsistent sometimes but the employees are super fast, and super sweet. They have gluten free breads and pastries too!! Love that! (though the scones are too dry and crumbly for my taste, but I bet they’d be better dipped in hot coffee)“

“Wow! I used Mojo's to cater a graduation event and they were super on the ball, gave us good pricing for buying in bulk, the donuts were fresh and delicious, the service was exceptional, the donuts came on catering trays, so we could just lift the lids off and were able to just serve them directly from the trays, so it made our event food easy! We had several people comment on how delicious the donuts were at the event as well, and I would have to wholeheartedly agree. 5 stars for sure!“

“Sunshine Spice Bakery & Cafe is one of the best cafés I have ever visited. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and beautifully designed. The staff are incredibly friendly and make every guest feel at home. The pastries, baklava, and fresh Afghan-inspired dishes are absolutely delicious, and the coffee is outstanding. Everything tastes fresh, homemade, and prepared with great attention to detail. I especially loved the unique flavors and the authentic cultural experience. If you’re in Boise, this place is a must-visit. I highly recommend Sunshine Spice Bakery & Cafe to anyone looking for amazing food, excellent service, and a memorable café experience.
