50 Best Chicken Restaurants near Alsip

“Food was great ,people were informative and friendly“

“Its Harold's chicken so you know it's good.. it's not the best Harold's bit it's definitely in the top 5.. the restaurant is clean..the parking lot is a little crowded because it's a few different businesses sharing one parking lot..
The major problem is a few (not all) of the staff members..there's a younger young lady working there (she might be in her upper teens or maybe early 20's) her customer service is pretty horrible... I'm guessing a family member of hers is the owner because that would be the only way I could understand why she's working there.. she's definitely not customer service ready,AT ALL... as a matter of fact they should probably have her preparing the orders instead of having her interact with any of the customers.“

“our friend/landlord brought us to you all and it was so good and fresh and juicy and it was the best food I've ever had in a long time! I really recommend this place!!“

“I’ve loved this place since the day I started ordering it! I order this almost every week or every other week when I’m at work in the evening. It’s always delivered fresh and warm and the chicken is amazing the seasonings are fantastic! And the names of the items to order are hilarious also the humor in me makes me laugh at them!“

“First time I've ever been and it was great. Had the sliders, some boneless wings, and some flavored cheese planks. The service was good, and my server was pleasant. The atmosphere is takeout with some seating areas. Will definitely visit this place frequently to try the rest of the menu.“

“I was way too excited about my food that I didn’t even realize I didn’t get the extra pickles on my order. 🥲😩 I was half way through before I gave it a thought. I guess you can say it is THAT good 🤣“

“This place is SOO good, I would definitely recommend to go here. The food was amazing, nice presentation, and fresh. I could see the kitchen staff making the food perfect. I got a cheeseburger, and it exceeded my expectations. The sauce, buttery bun, meat was amazing. The atmosphere was so nice the cashier and chef made sure we liked our food, and was super friendly. You should definitely check this gem out, 10/10.“

“The food is fresh and made to order, I loved that about Chi Chicken. Regular wait time as you would at any other place that’s made to order. Got a Kung Pao chicken bowl. It was very good and just the right amount of spicy. I will definitely be coming back to try the chicken sandwiches.“

“I visited 2 evenings in a row because the service was so friendly and the delicious messy fries were perfectly prepared on night 1. Different staff were in on night 2, yet the service was just as friendly and the messy fries just as yummy! I am Very picky about how my chicken is cooked and Fry the Coop does not disappoint. Quality food and outstanding service will keep me coming back!“

“OMG I came to this Dave’s after the longest day at work, I went inside and ordered an amazing chicken sandwich and Christian took such nice care of me and made me feel welcomed in. Love this Dave’s and Christian made it better. ❤“

“Chic fil a typically has great customer service but wanted to callout my encounter with Bridget, one of the team members who was stationed at the drive through. She was incredibly sweet during our short exchange and honestly made my day. She deserves a bonus or raise or something@ The food was also good quality compared to the location closer to my house. I'd return here“

“Alway a great atmosphere when I come through the doors. Everyone is happy plus full from the food, drinks, and vibes. If you're looking for a nice chill spot to parlay but want that patented Harold's Chicken Shack flavor, then Olympia Fields has the best of both worlds.“

“A crew member named Sofia was very attentive, she came to my table to ask kindly if we needed anything like a refill, napkins or anything else. She had a huge smile while giving us our order. She’s the sweetest, please don’t be mean to her.🩵“

“We had a great customer service experience here! My wife ordered a vanilla cream cold brew, but it was a bit sweet for her taste. The woman working the window remade it with less vanilla and shake base, which was very nice of her! I wish I got her name but I hope her team reads this shout out anyway!“

“This is the best Fried chicken in the south suburbs! It always fresh and made to order. The wings are huge and they are a great quality. The wait times are never any longer than it takes to cook the chicken. Please be sure to give them a try!“

“Great people. Great food. So far so good. I’ll definitely be back. The cook has good customer service skills and he seems to really care for people and his work. Everything in the kitchen area that you could see looks clean. Even the deep fryers are well kept. The perch was fried to perfection. Crunchy and still moist just how I like it. Fries were fried to perfection as well. Can’t make this stuff up. Thank you!!“

“Nothing better than going in the men's room to wash your hands, wax your mustache and exit to the counter with your Caniac Meal waiting for you. Look out!“

“Love this place - the chicken is always good. BUT if I order wings and ask for “mild sauce on the side” I only want mild sauce. I ordered 8 wings with mild sauce on the side and got 1 cup of mild sauce and 1 cup of hot sauce - I never asked for hot sauce so now I have 8 wings with 1 cup of sauce.“

“The catfish was fresh, hot, cooked to perfection and delicious, great customer service!! 😋 I will be returning.👍🏽
The 5 star reviews drew me to this location. I had to drive a distance, but it was worth the trip. all other shark locations near me are horrible (2 to be exact)“

“The chicken is always fried and seasoned to perfection. However i have found that even though i order then with lemon pepper when i open the container there's no sign of lemon pepper.

This could be due to the quality of lemon pepper they use but not only do i not see it visually i don't taste it either which sucks bc all you have to say is we don't do that. Because i don't see you forgetting every single time.

I haven't tried anything outside of their chicken and perch and bottled drinks.

Staff are nice nothing exceptional and nothing negative.“

“My first experience, my husband came home and gave me a piece, and we both came back that same day. The food was even better—saucy, crunchy, fresh chicken and fries, very reasonable. Keep up the good work! Harold's is definitely beaten.“

“First time eating here. It was absolutely delicious. A huge sandwich! Chicken very tender and juicy. Great flavor. I wish there was more coleslaw on the sandwich, but that’s just me. I don’t like potatoes but these fries are great crispy and good flavor. Everything is freshly cooked . Definitely 5 star“

“Amazing Great Hot Fresh And Good!!!“

“I have to be honest before they have been good but I made a 2 good 2 go order and by the time I got there they were closed completely. I got off work and thatcwas my dinner now no dinner and a waste of gas out of my way. Again I'm not crapping on them because I understand wanting to go home when they are technically off the clock just sad I missed my dinner. The ppl there have always been professional, respectful 🙏 and always nice so this I no slight against the amazing staff“

“After wirk i was in the mood for chicken. Forget the kentucky. As a southsider i had to hit up harolds but the pullman joint seemed too far so i checked this one out. Not dissapointed. The mild did seem a little sweet but those 6 wings bathed in sauce were a hit. The lady seemed nice; its all about your demeanor and the a1 wings. 👌🏿“

“Michael and kadence have been beyond amazing. They have great customer service smiling and very patient. I have been in this location plenty of times and have had terrible service. I'm so happy I chose to give them another chance. I will become a regular again. I'm guessing Michael is the manager he hands down knows what he's doing environment is just ll around positive! He's awesome to his employees and customers stays on top of cleanliness and customers.“

“The older cashier who works in the mornings is outstanding!! She is exactly what this location needs! She is professional and kind to her customers!! The food has been consistently good but she is the face behind this location and one of the reasons I frequent this location. Kudos to her!“

“the best thing about this place is the service the food and prices It's so affordable I've been coming here now for my quick meal I literally can't ask for anything more the guy that works, let me tell you he works lol The food is so good i always come here for my special two pizza puffs, mozzarella sticks and fries always the same price 13 dollars i swear anywhere else and you would be paying 10 dollars for each pizza puff. definitely recommend!!!!“

“07-28-26 I was about to order for delivery on DoorDash and it didn’t have options for sauces or anything. So I called the store before ordering because I didn’t want dry chicken! The lady that picked up the phone made sure my order had sauce and it was very delicious when I received it.. thank you bless her heart!“

“not sure but seems like they sold to someone else. service sucked Bought a 4 piece chicken wing get one free meal and 2 chicken breast meal and 2 pops. 40 dollars. The coleslaw tasted spoiled. never again..“

“I had the BEST experience with Honey's Chicken! I had to place a large order for catfish fillets for my wedding, and the owner actually came out to assist me with the order. He and his staff were very nice and accommodating. Not only were they nice, but the fish was AMAZING! I had to scramble to make sure my husband and I had fish. I'm truly grateful for the service. You guys are a blessing. Much success to you.“

“This time I bought some fish and a Rice Bowl I also got the Icee cup I go here every couple of months the food is great I'll taste the other thing there including the desert they have different variety of things but I have not tried everything but so far everything is good“

“Shark’s Fish & Chicken is a fantastic spot for comfort food! I tried the fried catfish and it was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, while the fries were golden and well-seasoned. The portions are generous, making it a great value for the price. The staff were friendly“

“Good .always fresh s d hot“

“on Lock good food good cooks“

“Always fresh and friendly. Best churches experience in Chicagoland“

“We were in town for a Blackhawks game and wanted something different. Glad we came here. Best jerk chicken and rice and peas we’ve ever had!“

“I didn’t feel like cooking dinner and my family and I had a taste for Popeyes Chicken. We don’t eat Popeyes often and when you get a crave for something you want your tastebuds to be satisfied. I came to this Popeyes location around 4:30 yesterday evening, everything was fresh and pipping hot. The customer service was excellent and the staff were friendly. The inside was clean and quiet. I clipped a coupon deal from the Popeyes app on my phone they honored in store. Overall great experience and I will return to this location even though there are 2 other Popeyes closer to my home.“

“Top-tier service. Working at a fast food restaurant isn't easy, so I really appreciate when someone goes out of their way to be pleasant and attentive. The cashier who helped me was welcoming, pleasant, and efficient, I'll definitely be back because of her.
My only complaint was the food... the wings were quite small, small enough that a few extra could have been added to compensate. Other than that, the service was served up with a smile. Kudos to this KFC.“

“I was pleasantly surprised that I would be given this location such a high score. I wanted to taste the wedges and chicken tenders, and I have to say it was delicious. The food was hot and fresh. There was no wait for the food and the gentleman who took my order so professional and pleasant.“

“Good experience. I was greeted by cashier T. Very nice and friendly. The cook ke ke accommodate my fish allergy. Food was good and fresh and hot. A original owner my she RIH. Cute atmosphere and all the touches of her dad and her and her husband super cute. Will be back.“
