That just about sums up our visit to this adorable cafe. I ordered the Gold Crush Latte which is topped with Dalgona which melted into the latte giving it a slightly sweet and mellow flavor. My companion ordered an iced Gold Crush Latte so they could enjoy the Dalgona as it slowly released its sugary cookie flavor into the coffee beverage. As we savored our drinks in the pleasant and cozy seating, they prepared our Croffle, a combination of croissant and waffle, and it was crispy and buttery and caramelly. All in all, a harmonious mix of flavors and textures that added up to a very pleasant midday interlude.“

“This was my first visit to Greg's Frozen Custard and I was impressed. I didn't know why my GPS was redirecting me through a neighborhood (Pleasure Drive - lol), but you have to enter off South Lake (by Auto Zone). We drove up and it was one of those stand-alone structures that you occasionally see (like a big ice cream cone) that are usually popular for the novelty. The flavor of the day was butter pecan. I ordered a scoop of butter pecan and added hot fudge and whipped cream. I was surprised by how thick and creamy and rich the custard was. The hot fudge was also thick, not a thin syrup, and this was a decadent treat. There were plenty of pecans in the custard. My friend had the chocolate custard and that was thick and rich with a satisfying flavor. We liked that the custard isn't overly sweet. There were just a handful of customers when we arrived but shortly thereafter the parking lot started to fill up. There is a gazebo with some seating but this was a rainy spring evening so we ate in the car. Now that I know you're here, Greg's Custard, I'll be back to try your other flavors.“

The Waffle was sooo great and their side salad was very huge. I mean, their waffle is really different than others - it's thick, crisp and delicious... I was surprised to see such a long line for the drive thru. But it goes quickly. We decided to park and order at the walk-up window. Depending on where you park you can get blocked in by the drive thru lane. They don't have seating. It is a walk-up order counter. I like the fact that they had heaters in the standing area to help keep you semi warm. There's a lot of different options for mix ins on their menu ranging from sweet to savory. I decided to go with a small concrete butter pecan. The custard is very creamy and it's cool to see it being freshly made. The quality of the pecans really made the concrete. I would definitely stop by Andy's again to try some different creations.“

The restaurant is pretty large and not super busy on a Sunday morning. The decor really pushes the rooster and almost farmhouse style theme throughout. Portion sizes are fairly large and prices are a bit higher than what you'll find elsewhere but still reasonable. Food here was pretty good, I didn't care much for the specialty coffee drinks but find the breakfast options to be quite solid. I like the spongy feeling of the waffle french toast which tastes fairly eggy and has a unique texture that was enjoyable. The corned beef skillet was fairly balanced in terms of protein and potatoes, with plenty of corned beef. It wasn't overly salty, though it seemed like an additional element could've helped to tie the different components of the dish together. The egg white delight omelette was quite large and airy and prepared quite well, this is a nice healthy option when served with a side of fruit. Overall, if you're in the area shopping at nearby Heinen's or Mariano's, this is a nice and convenient option. You can enjoy a meal here casually with friends and choose from a fairly varied menu.“
