“The drive thru wasn't available, and they didn't put cones to block it off. So it sucked I had to find a parking spot and then go in. If it was bocked off, I wouldn't have been upset. Most pandas don't have a drive thru. The knew time I go to a panda that has one and it isn't available due to low staff.“

“Lao Sichuan has the most authentic and consistently amazing Chinese food to be found anywhere in the U.S. Having spent some time living in China while I was in undergrad, there are certain flavors that I crave, which your run of the mill American style Chinese restaurant will not have. My wife and I live in St Charles and make the 1 hour 20 minute round trip at least once a week to get our fix. The food is that good. The owner is seemingly always there, and obviously genuinely cares about ensuring quality in what is served every time. Our favorites are Chengdu Style King Pao Chicken, Ma Po Tofu, Beef in Pure Cumin Powder, Toothpicks Lamb, and the Xiao Long Bao. I cannot for the life of me fathom how this restaurant does not have a higher rating. It is the best. Try it. You won't regret it.“

“I worked here many many years ago. I was 15 I used to come in and do dishes for a few hours a day. Anyway the food here is amazing. Kind of ruined me for all other Chinese places. However having said that I will say since the pandemic and covid all that stuff right they've gone down a little in quality. I don't know if it's the cook. The egg rolls are half the size they used to be. Portions are a little smaller The chicken is a little smaller pieces. But hey what are you going to do it's rough out there. I'm going to order in about 30 minutes lol“

“I loved the vibe as soon as I walked in. It is authentic and homey. I love the decor, its not too cold either. I tried the Lychee Strawberry Green Tea with Heart Jelly and Rainbow Jelly. The tea was a bit and it was definitely a sweeter drink, but I loved it. The jelly isn’t too firm, like some other places, it was perfectly balanced. Not too much ice, but also cold all the way through. Very delicious! Sweet staff! Great conversation!“

“I've lived here over two years and only eaten at A's once, and I remember the food was so so. Thought I would give them another try. Wow, really good food and value. I ordered online and was surprised that I was only order #3 this late in the day. Went in and the place was empty. Made me a little sad, but the lady working the counter with her two very young children was super sweet. I walked from my nearby apartment, got home and the food was still nice and hot. I ordered the General Tso's dinner special and upgraded to shrimp fried rice, it also comes with 3 egg rolls, who does that for less than $11?? Huge portion of food! Also got an order of crab rangoons, you get 8 for less than $6?! They're excellent with tons of that creamy filling. I'm very pleased and completely full lol! And, I have enough food for dinner tomorrow. I will definitely be back!“

“I was blown away how Mr Chan was able to whip up all the food we ordered, without writing down our order, withour a single error. The food was amazing and he is just a gem of a human being. It's a nice family owned & operated business & we always like supporting those being business owners ourselves.Pros: Homemade egg rolls that had great flavor. Good Sesame Chicken, Fried Rice, & Lo Mein.Cons: Not my favorite dumplings, but that doesn't mean they weren't good.Everything was made fresh to order, and overall had good flavor. It always takes time to get used to a new restaurant, because your used to the precious place & how they made their food.“

“I can't believe how long it took me to find this place but now that I have it had become our "go-to" Chinese take out spot. We especially love the spicy fried rice!!! Even my 4 year old loved the rice, her first spicy food! Everything we have ordered has been fresh and tasty and they are so friendly when I pick up which really makes a difference for me.“

“The woman who takes the orders can be rude occasionally, but the food is always good. The wait is often longer than expected aswell.

Parking: Hundreds of spots, as it shares a lot with jewel/other businesses.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is very few handicapped parking spots, and there is a curb to get in, that would make it difficult to get in without walking all the way around.“

“Food by the scoop! It's fast and cheap. Shan-Li's charges $1.25 for a generous scoop of the majority of the items. The food is already made, so it may not be the freshest, but it's fast. The ever so popular crispy chicken is pretty good. It's breaded, deep fried and sauced. They have 3 different kinds of fried rice and lo mein. The hot and sour soup was good, too! They have a self-serve water station by the register. While I was there, they had a constant stream of customer. There's plenty of space to sit and enjoy your meal.“

Absolutely fantastic pricing! Had a coupon online for free crab Rangoon & lunch special included a free pop. Crab Rangoon was to die for! Egg roll was phenomenal. Fried rice & homemade sauce were very good as well. My least favorite was the Mongolian beef meat but it was still okay! The flavor of the meat was very well and spicy just wasn’t a fan of the texture of the meat. Will possibly go with sweet and sour chicken next time ?“
