A group of four of us came here on a friend's recommendation, and we were completely blown away. The concept was totally new to us, and we absolutely loved it—you choose your slices, they cut them with scissors, weigh them based on exactly how much you want, and then heat them up to crispy perfection.

We tried a bunch of different varieties, including the Fried Onion, Burrata, Arrabbiata, Pesto Potato, and Hot Honey Chicken. Every single one of them was packed with amazing flavor and completely delicious. The group loved all of them, but the Hot Honey was easily my personal favorite!“

“In 2017, I picked up my older brother at Midway to come home to the funeral of our youngest brother that committed suicide at 23 yers old. We swung over to Vito and Nick's to get a pizza and talk. It was our first time there. We ended up telling the waitress the situation because we had both been crying. Next thing we know, the kitchen had par-baked like 8 large pizzas of all types, and gave us a hand-written note giving us condolences and instructions on how to finish baking the pizzas. “Our company has ordered pizza and sides from this Nancy's location a couple of times and they DO NOT disappoint. The pizza is GREAT, some of the best we have tasted!! This particular order (on WED-03JUN_ was for a luncheon, and we only ordered thin crust pizzas this time. The last order had deep dish included and they were just as delicious. The delivery went smoothly and on time with only a small 'hiccup' but the restaurant called immediately when they realized and corrected the matter. Alex, the manager, was very apologetic and personally delivered the missing items; he was GREAT and really took care of us! We would highly recommend this pizza for any type of business or family function. Besides the pizzas the menu selection is extensive - will have to try the pasta next time. “We were on a taco crawl but had to stop by this local pizza joint. We got the pepperoni slice, it was the perfect amount of salty and greasy. The thin crust was absolutely perfect. A hidden gem!!!! I'd love to try the longanisa pizza next time, it only comes as a whole pizza.“

“Where do I even start... The establishment is unlike anything I've experienced so far, the place feels magical for both kids and grown-ups alike. When you step in for the first time, it feels akin to a fun, fantastical experience coming to life. This place is a great experience alone, but trust me, it's best when visiting with some company; you could even bring your sister to this location. As for the staff, they know what they do and take their job seriously: they don't treat their job as some sort of pizzeria simulator. The pizza they serve is catered to your specifications, allowing you to have the ultimate custom experience any night. Don't get me wrong, this place is still prone to human error, but the staff is capable of providing help when wanted. Aside from the inevitable human error (and unsubstantiated rumors involving disappearances) the only downside is the lack of a warning when accessing the free wifi, if you do want to use the free wifi, just remember to use a VPN to prevent a security breach on your device. Personally, I reccomend it over any of the other copycat locations; I don't know the secret of the success of mimic locations, but having already patronized here for 5 nights, I know that I will always come back.“

“This was probably the best pizza we have had. Obviously depends on what you like but very good pizza. We got there about 10 mins before 5pm on a Thursday and were the first ones in line. Not a large place so would recommend small 2/4 person groups but was fantastic. Coming back to Chicago this would be the first restaurant we would make sure we came back to.“

“We recently had dinner at Coalfire on Grand Ave. in West Town and really enjoyed their coal oven baked pizza. We dined early on a weekend evening so no problem with grabbing a table on a walk in basis. Opening hours are Indoor environs were urban modern with tables spaced nicely. Opening hours are 4pm to 10pm (Tue-Thurs) and noon to 10.30pm (Fri-Sun), closed on Mondays. Service was very friendly. Menu features a few salads as well as a list of pizzas. They also do a build your pizza custom order if preferred. We ordered the Jalapeno Pepperoni which was nicely baked thin crust with a good amount of char. Savoury tomato sauces, cheese, pepperoni and jalapeno were all good quality and tasty. This was a really good pizza, one we'd gladly return to reorder. Would also be happy to try other pizzas on the Coalfire menu.“

The pizza was okay. It needs seasoning in the sauce. I had pepperoni and my husband had pepperoni and sausage. He said the sausage tasted like Casey's sausage. Do with that what you will.

Other than the lack of seasoning, the crust was great. If you LOVE cheese, you will like how much cheese they use. The pepperonis would taste better if they were above the cheese, but that is of course preference. Overall nice place. 1 slice is all you really need do to the size of each slice.“

“A great space for large group outdoor with a great happy hour menu! We have a group of 17 people for happy hour and had so much fun. I enjoyed the spicy margaritas and some pizzas over others - my favorite was cheeses, Joseph and mary. The cheese/vegetarian pizza outshine meaty ones which ended up being more on the salty side. The last 30’ of the happy hour we couldnt find our server and werent able to put out last order but had a good time overall.“

We tried the Malnati family-sized salad, which is very generous, had left-overs despite feeding four hungry people. We also tried the Deep Dish Chicago Classic, which was really tasty. No top crust, just the buttermilk bottom crust, which is very tasty in itself.

The music was a bit too loud, given the place was not busy. Also, a bit on the cold side.

Overall, a very good experience, definitely made me a fan!“
