“This was probably the best pizza we have had. Obviously depends on what you like but very good pizza. We got there about 10 mins before 5pm on a Thursday and were the first ones in line. “We recently had dinner at Coalfire on Grand Ave. in West Town and really enjoyed their coal oven baked pizza. We dined early on a weekend evening so no problem with grabbing a table on a walk in basis. Opening hours are Indoor environs were urban modern with tables spaced nicely. Opening hours are 4pm to 10pm (Tue-Thurs) and noon to 10.30pm (Fri-Sun), closed on Mondays. Service was very friendly. Menu features a few salads as well as a list of pizzas. They also do a build your pizza custom order if preferred. We ordered the Jalapeno Pepperoni which was nicely baked thin crust with a good amount of char. Savoury tomato sauces, cheese, pepperoni and jalapeno were all good quality and tasty. This was a really good pizza, one we'd gladly return to reorder. Would also be happy to try other pizzas on the Coalfire menu.“

It's still an amazing pizza and the (owner?) who I've interacted with a couple times recently has been incredibly inviting when you enter his business, super friendly. “I've gone to Vinces for over 20 years, and I can honestly say it never disappoints. From the moment you walk in, you feel like part of the family. You are always greeted with a smiling face and the smells alone will keep you coming back for more. The pizza here is consistently incredible. The pizza was okay. It needs seasoning in the sauce. I had pepperoni and my husband had pepperoni and sausage. He said the sausage tasted like Casey's sausage. Do with that what you will.

Other than the lack of seasoning, the crust was great. If you LOVE cheese, you will like how much cheese they use. The pepperonis would taste better if they were above the cheese, but that is of course preference. Overall nice place. 1 slice is all you really need do to the size of each slice.“

“My husband keeps a list of pizza places we need to try. Today was the day to try Cipriani’s after our flight at Midway. The place is easy to get to from Midway and was outstanding. The staff were all patient and kind while we decided what to order. Their specialty is stuffed pizza, which my husband is not usually a fan of, but we ordered one. It did not disappoint. Sauce was flavorful, the right amount of toppings and cheese with a crust that didn’t make the pizza feel too stuffed. We also tried two soups. Pasta figole and minestrone. Both were also delicious, the pasta figole being a bit tangy. The owner, Sarah, was very welcoming. The small dining room was clean. A great find!“
