Customer service is TERRIBLE, the woman is always yelling & her accent is so strong, it’s hard to understand but the food is so delicious I continue to return to allow her scream at me every time. Portion size is on point for my big back self. I travel from Wisconsin atleast once a month to buy food from this location.“

“Chen’s is my new go to chinese take out!! You guys have to try this place, 10/10 would recommend! The food is delicious and the service is AMAZING!! Well kept restaurant and the owners a hoot, funniest guy ever!! But the star of the show, their egg rolls!! BEST egg rolls ever!! And DONT even mention their, fire, as the kids say, fried rice!! “Lucky Bamboo is a wonderful restaurant! Sometimes they get busy, so you need to call in advance. But the food is delicious. Truly some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. “This is my Moms go to place for her Chinese food n delivery to Sr.Suites of Midway..I've tried it many times w/ my mom.. So I decided that's where I wanted to go. Never judge a book by its cover.. The lady was super sweet n helpful,helping me with my order..with my total order was 25.00 nothing compared to my other places..I was really happy that she recommended I try Veggie Egg Foo Yung,boy was I satisfied. “First time customer a friend told me about this Restaurant. I purchased the curry chicken, the angel hair thin noodles MEI chicken ( it tasted better than chicken fried rice, First time for this item and I loved it) the jumbo shrimp fried rice. Everything was delicious.“

“This was my first time trying this place, and it did not disappoint! I ordered the dinner special with general tso’s chicken, and it was amazing!! I’m usually picky with chicken but this one was made so well, and the fried rice was perfect. I requested no egg in the fried rice and a vegetable egg roll, and they were so kind and considerate to not only honor my requests but label them too!! I was worried about this because not every place is careful enough, and it can ruin your whole meal when not done right but this place did. The food was delicious, piping hot (even though my DoorDash driver had to make multiple stops before mine!), and an amazing value for the amount of food you get. The Thai iced tea was the cherry on top! 10/10 thank you for a perfect comfort meal after a long day“

“Food is fresh and excellent. I find it to be one of the best in the area. Non greasy, good flavor, service is ok, but when they attend to you, you have their undivided attention. I have been there a few times, and it does not vary. It is also very clean, with large tables and booths.“

“Service is still great … but when closed then reopened, the quality of the food is now NOTICEABLY DIFFERENT (worse). Different chef, perhaps? Not sure what I mentioned it because I always order the same thing chicken with black bean and garlic sauce. The last two times I ordered it after they reopened they used dark meat and it was always always always white meat chicken. Also, the sauce is different. Something’s changed, but I’m just not sure what. It’s still my favorite Chinese restaurant in the south suburbs but they can do better. I say that because they’ve been better.“

Grew up in the neighborhood and it's been a go to for us for some time!
We get the chicken chop suey, combo lo mein, mushroom or ham egg foo young. The egg rolls are good and the wonton soup is a fave when I'm sick!
I think the prices are solid given the portion sizes. Definitely give this place a try if you're thinkin about it !“

“I ordered a small veggie fried rice. It was good but the container is SUPER small and the price is a bit high $10.50. I know groceries prices are outrageous but rice, 🥕 and 🍄 are still pretty cheap. Green peppers are on the expensive side if not on sale but there wasn't enough peppers to justify the cost. Thats my opinion.“

“I always enjoy ordering from Grand Chinese. Workers are always courteous and the food is always delicious. I used to go to Hoe Toy on Stony Island but the original owners sold it I believe and the food wasn't the same. I found out about Grand Chinese and now they are my go to spot for Chinese food.“

Only two dings is 1) why the $1.00 convenience fee 2) use less sodium in the egg foo young. Will definitely be back but get rid of the annoying convenience fee.“

“I keep seeing bad and negative things about this place, but this place is super quick and it's food is incredible!! The orange chicken has more flavor then any other restaurant I've ever had and the rice paired with the orange chicken makes it really good.

The quantity to price ratio is very fair to above for most Chinese restaurants. The restaurant has a small gaming longe area primarily located on the takeout side of the restaurant with a low wall separating the dining area, which has a few booths and a couple of tables. The food has always been quite good and tasty, Imaged is the House Special Chow Fun, Sesame Chicken (always a fav), and BBQ Pork Kow (had a lot of meat, just not pictured well). We've been going here for a couple of years now, eating in and getting to go. Parking is available, but it is shared in a strip mall. Handicap and senior friendly as well.“

We ordered crab rangoons (perfect, not sweet, and crispy!), beef & Broccoli (good), general Tso's chicken (mildly spicy, a little bland, but still quite nice), Coconut chicken (really awesome, lightly breaded, crispy, mild spice that builds as you eat), BBQ pork egg foo young (just like childhood!), and chicken fried rice (lovely flavor, lots of bits of meat). Food came out quickly and was good. We had the vegetable soup, egg drop soup, egg rolls, crab Rangoon, beef and broccoli, and the Mongolian beef. My drink was good, but it didn't taste like there was any alcohol in it. They also have tea when you come in. “Great little spot for take out or quick dine in and relax so far my meals have been delicious. The sweet and sour chicken and red sauce is good. The tofu with mixed vegetables is absolutely delicious. The spring rolls are good and so is the egg rolls. The plain fried rice is ok if I wasn't cheap and added meat id be more happy but delicious food and we are back for second round now will update later.

I order sesame chicken, chicken fried rice, two egg rolls and two smoothies. My total was barely $40!! Portions were great I had enough for me and my friends. And I still had left overs! The food was so fresh I almost burned my mouth. I think this is a little gem and more people need to come and try it.“

“They have great luncheon specials with generous portions and a free egg roll. I love hot and spicy dishes; my favorite is Kung Pao Beef which has a ton of flavor (nice heat), a lot of beef, peanuts and very tasty fried rice. I also like their Shrimp Egg Foo Yung. The other reviewer here is totally wrong. Either he needs to add soy sauce or maybe he was going through chemotherapy and had lost his sense of taste. Their service is also terrific and if you phone in your order ahead of time it will be piping hot ready for pickup iun about 15 minutes within 15 minutes.“
