“I like the food. The location is alright. Standard or customary time for food to be prepared for pickup. Not many tables to sit or eat nor is the lobby inviting. If youre on the bus and you need to sit and eat then its cool but to go there to purposely, eat.It is not a fine dining establishment. I repeat not a fine dining establishment“

“Came in craving pho, but found something even better! The seafood soup was piping hot, super fresh, expertly seasoned, and hit the perfect level of spice. No extra toppings required.
Do not sleep on the chicken wing easily the best I’ve had in ages. The server promised me I wouldn't need hot sauce because of the seasoning, and she wasn't lying. Absolutely delicious.“

“This was my first time trying this place, and it did not disappoint! I ordered the dinner special with general tso’s chicken, and it was amazing!! I’m usually picky with chicken but this one was made so well, and the fried rice was perfect. I requested no egg in the fried rice and a vegetable egg roll, and they were so kind and considerate to not only honor my requests but label them too!! I was worried about this because not every place is careful enough, and it can ruin your whole meal when not done right but this place did. The food was delicious, piping hot (even though my DoorDash driver had to make multiple stops before mine!), and an amazing value for the amount of food you get. The Thai iced tea was the cherry on top! 10/10 thank you for a perfect comfort meal after a long day“

“Absolutely wonderful. Always love picking up beef lo mein, the extra rice is always PACKED full and the food is *so* good.
Only gripe is with online ordering, you can't ask to omit anything—i.e, can't ask for no mushrooms or a specific ingredient—but that's a small thing that otherwise doesn't heavily impact the experience.“

“Service is still great … but when closed then reopened, the quality of the food is now NOTICEABLY DIFFERENT (worse). Different chef, perhaps? Not sure what I mentioned it because I always order the same thing chicken with black bean and garlic sauce. The last two times I ordered it after they reopened they used dark meat and it was always always always white meat chicken. Also, the sauce is different. Something’s changed, but I’m just not sure what. It’s still my favorite Chinese restaurant in the south suburbs but they can do better. I say that because they’ve been better.“

“Some of the best Chinese food in the South Suburbs. Prices are comparable to other places. Portion sizes are good. Only small complaint is sometimes their inconsistent with how they prepare something. For example the broccoli and garlic sauce - I've had it before where the sauce is very thick and the broccoli broccoli was a little mushy but for the most part they always get it right. I pretty much always order it through a delivery app and the food still comes hot. Egg rolls are good and crisp. Sesame chicken is nice, slight sweetness with a little heat. Fried rice is flavorful.“

“I always enjoy ordering from Grand Chinese. Workers are always courteous and the food is always delicious. I used to go to Hoe Toy on Stony Island but the original owners sold it I believe and the food wasn't the same. I found out about Grand Chinese and now they are my go to spot for Chinese food.“

“I ordered a small veggie fried rice. It was good but the container is SUPER small and the price is a bit high $10.50. I know groceries prices are outrageous but rice, 🥕 and 🍄 are still pretty cheap. Green peppers are on the expensive side if not on sale but there wasn't enough peppers to justify the cost. Thats my opinion.“

Grew up in the neighborhood and it's been a go to for us for some time!
We get the chicken chop suey, combo lo mein, mushroom or ham egg foo young. The egg rolls are good and the wonton soup is a fave when I'm sick!
I think the prices are solid given the portion sizes. Definitely give this place a try if you're thinkin about it !“

“This was my very first time trying this Chinese place out. Because I'm always looking for a good Chinese restaurant and I want to stick to one place. I think I found it! Baby when I tell you they dinner and lunch plates are enormous you can eat on it for couple of days! I was blown away how fresh and delicious it tasted no disappointment. “We have been looking for a decent place for Chinese food where you can actually sit down and enjoy your food. The staff were all friendly. Decent menu to choose from. Food came out quickly and was good. We had the vegetable soup, egg drop soup, egg rolls, crab Rangoon, beef and broccoli, and the Mongolian beef. My drink was good, but it didn't taste like there was any alcohol in it. They also have tea when you come in. I placed an order to go and told them to make it spicy, but apparently, they missed that part, still a decent place, and we will definitely come back again.“

“Very decent place. Consistently good, had it 3x this week already! Egg rolls are great, big and surprisingly not at all greasy. Crab rangoon are good. Sesame, Mongolian and orange chicken are 👌. bbq pork/ chicken chow mein are both great. Chicken lo mein is ok. I prefer the fried noodles.

Place looks and feels like your average dive/hole in the wall and it doesn't disappoint. I was weary because NOTHING is updated on Google, I thought the prices on their menu were 2010 prices or something but no, those are the right prices. No frills comfort food. Give em a try.“
