“I came here on a Thursday night. I had the basil shrimp with vermicelli noodles. It was a 10/10 across the board! The only difference is it could use a little more flavor (for my taste personally) so I added some type of red spicy sauce and it was even better! I also tried their Thai iced tea for the first time which was refreshing. I love how lowkey the restaurant is. It’s very small, but still an intimate setting for a date or family. Our waitress was very attentive, while still being productive. She made an error on a friend of mine’s card and she quickly corrected the error before we left the restaurant. The restaurant gives me a homey feel & I appreciate my entire experience. I would definitely come back here! Especially with the homemade food for a steal!“

“Today CheSa was in my building The Franklin downtown and of course I had to support my own! I got the 4 cheese Mac/jerk chicken bowl. Not too spicy but had a nice kick. Chicken was tender. Only issue is the juice from the chicken made the Mac and Cheese runny at the bottom“

“So today I had a friend in from out of town and we topped off our afternoon with a visit to Miski Bakery. I was dying to try the alfajores, and they did not disappoint! The very delicate morsels melted in our mouth, and the creamy luscious dollop of dulce de leche caramel was a perfect pairing. In addition we tried the Milhojas/Napoleons in two flavors the Lucuma pastry creme and also the dulce de leche. A thousand layers is correct, these were amazingly tall, crispy and filled with air, both were delicious but the Lucuma(a Peruvian fruit) pastry creme was the standout. It had such a delightful delicate flavor I had never tasted previously. After speaking with Carmen the owner I asked whether or not they ever carried Turrón de doñja Pepa. She just happened to have some freshly baked sitting on the tray behind the counter, but alas it was still awaiting its filling. This gives me a great reason to return and indulge in that special treat. It is prepared every other week. The service was warm and friendly. This is definitely a hidden gem in the neighborhood you shouldn't miss out on. I will be returning often.“

“I have nothing but compliments for this wonderful establishment! My fiancé and I went out to dinner last night and had a taste for authentic Italian. I found this place online and read nothing but wonderful reviews about the food, and service. Located in downtown Westmont. Parking was so easy (right across the street), and from the moment we walked in we were treated like royalty. The manager Sergio greeted us with a huge smile, sat us, and told us a little about the restaurant. Our server Alysa was nothing short of amazing, knowledgeable, and gave us wonderful recommendations. We felt like family! All of the food is made in house, pastas, sauces, and even the wine and desserts! You can taste the quality of the ingredients, and tell that every single person puts so much care into making sure every customer is happy. The whole experience was wonderful, and it’s so nice to see small (not chain restaurants) are thriving. It’s been a long time since we had an experience like this at a restaurant and we appreciate their hospitality! I think we found our new date night spot! We will be back!! OFTEN! “I just walked out of the door and am so glad that God sent us there. We tried 3 places prior to walking in CheSa’s doors which was a definite blessing. We had the catfish skillet, bourbon peach cobbler franchise toast, chicken sausage and scrabbles eggs w/cheese washed down with a breakfast martini. There was a bit of an issue trying to get food my wife could eat given she has a few food sensitivities which seemed to preclude her eating here. But once we got it figured out, we had a tasty meal. The owner waited on us personally and was somewhat helpful with the limited options on the menu for my wife. He is a friendly guy who takes great pride in his restaurant. “Bar and liquor store combo with a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great selection of whiskey and beer.

We had our rehearsal dinner there, and it was exactly what we wanted. Very much our style. Saved us a bunch of money doing it there vs our other options. And the nice thing was that we were able to cater whatever food we wanted there.

We also got the spirits for our wedding through them. They had the best prices from everything we vetted, and we were able to return all the unopened bottles that were leftover after the event.

“Definitely coming back! I've stopped by a couple of times and been satisfied each time. Their iced lattes are great, but definitely on the sweeter side. They have a bunch of pastries available with dietary restrictions available, I tried the GF banana bread and it was delicious. I do wish they would warm them up, but not sure if that's an option. Staff is kind and patient, and you get your food/drinks very quick. They also have a lot of lunch options that look great, going to give them a try next time. Also, a lot of seating available and never too busy/hectic.“

Lighting was lowered while we were there but that touch added to the ambiance. The meal was delicious and larger than expected at a fair price. We had burgers with roasted potatoes that were seasoned perfectly. Staff made sure we had water as compared to many establishments where you have to ask for a glass of water.
