“First let me say I’ve been to this location many times overall it’s good. But today was not so good. Long story short, it took 18mins to receive my smoothie and that’s after I brought their attention to it.

“Visiting from Columbus OH, my family and I stopped here as it’s a family go to at home and fits into our plant based (vegan) lifestyle. We had a pleasant experience with the customer service and atmosphere. Jack was very welcoming and handled our rather large order with ease and speed. We had 3 smoothies, 2 avocado toast and one oatmeal bowl. Only critique I have is the oatmeal was slightly more watery than I’m used to. Anthony the owner stopped in during our stay and witness the praise I gave Jack. Clean and well kept. I hope our 2 littles didn’t cause too much a ruckus 😊“

“I go to this location quiet often, but I was extremely disappointed as well as angry with what I saw today at this location. (3/9/25 at 5:35pm) The 3 customers that were ahead of me placed their orders were first timers I found out. The young lady that was fixing their smoothies dropped a cup on the floor, picked the cup up from the floor then sat the cup to the side. As she finished one smoothie she pulled a fresh cup, then the 2nd smoothie she proceeded to pour it in the cup that she picked up off the floor. I told the young lady that took my order, so she then pulled the young to the side to tell her that I saw what she did then she looks at me and says "I'm Sorry" (I said to her): What do mean you are sorry, why would you do that, and why are you giving that to her, you need to remake that smoothie ...and guess what she did not. I'm just want to make people aware: Watch the people that prepare your sandwiches/smoothies or anything of that sort. It's not their stuff, they're not paying for it so they don't care. That was just the epitome of nasty and extremely unsanitary. She didn't have on a Tropical Cafe shirt, she had on a gray shirt, she may have been new, I'm not sure but we need to learn to do better when working with the public. Don't do things to people that you don't want done to you!!!!! FYI...the name on the ticket was: Shelia G“

“This spot never misses! The juices and smoothies are insanely fresh, perfectly balanced, and packed with flavor. You can literally taste the quality in every sip. They have a great variety, everything is made to order, and the staff is always welcoming and quick. Clean, chill vibe and consistently great service. If you’re looking for a place that actually cares about quality, this is it. 10/10 recommend“

“Honestly this is the Best smoothie spot around town. The employees are super kind and respectful. The vibe is very cool and hip. The space is very clean and well lit. The prices of the drinks are modest. Every time I grab a smoothie from there I leave and feel happy.

“Today was my first time trying Smoothie King. I picked the Peanut Power Plus. When I substituted the nonfat milk (powder) for almond milk, I expressed my concern about my smoothie being thin/liquidity. The person who I worked with, I’m assuming the manager, assured me that it would still be thick or they’d be willing to remake it. He even added extra peanut butter. My smoothie was tasty. And although I only got the 20 oz, it was so filling, I could barely eat. 😂 That’s a good thing. Thanks for my smoothie but especially the excellent customer service.“

I've eaten tamales most of my life and I brought some for my grandma who came to Chicago from Mexico and she absolutely loved them she has been eating them for 70 plus years and for her to provide her stamp of approval means a lot. “Ohhh sweet summer flavors and memories are found at Xurro! They have a great menu of many ways to get your sugar fix from sundaes to smoothies and seasonal flavors too. You can even get a variety of flavors in your ice cream base, vanilla or strawberry or Superman! It being my first time I decided on a classic sundae with churros and I was pleasantly surprised. The churros are crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and have the perfect dusting of sugar. It was gone before I made it home! A little on the higher side for price but it’s fair for all that you get.“

Also tried the Arroz con Leche popsicle; it was like dessert in a bite. The place is clean, the staff is chill, and the flavors hit every time. Spent about $15, and it was worth every penny. PLEASE remember to shake it before you put the straw in it cause flavor is key here. Tapioca is made fresh you can taste it, tea brewed perfectly and it’s delicious. Atmosphere is so cute. I recommend this place to anyone who likes boba or anyone who wants a fresh fruit smoothie! Great variety of flavors and milk options which isn’t common!“

“I ordered them from uber eats for the and it was so good I needed to leave a review… what do you mean I can order GORMET chocolate covered strawberries to my door?? Their chocolate is out of this world. Juice mixes are refreshing. The croffle thing changed my life. Insanely fresh fruit.

I’ve been to other locations, so this was the first time that my order was wrong. I didn’t get it changed since the almond milk was good at 50% sugar with less ice. I’ll still take a star away because pistachio and almonds are two different nuts, not the same.“
