“Amazing tacos! Heard the owner came from Atotonilco Taqueria, so I knew I had to try it and I’m glad I did! Carne was nice and soft, salsa spicy and flavorful, and I asked for the tortilla crispy and it was perfect! And the tacos survived an hour drive home, so I can only imagine how they would taste fresh!“

“Lengua and pastor tacos were delicious and I’m pretty hard on taquerias. Recently bought a house a couple blocks away, took 5 exploratory tacos home and we destroyed them so I went back the same day for more. Couple who runs it are both awesome. Will be coming here a lot.“

“Food was hot and ready. Ordered the taco dinner with cabeza tacos. And they were fantastic and fresh with cilantro and onions. Sauces they came with were also fresh and delicious, no weird taste like they have been in the fridge for too long.
Mexican rice was fresh and good. Beans were pretty decent although the cheese wasnt quite melted but i dont really care about that.
Hopefully if i am back this way i’ll stop and get some more tacos. Thanks!“

“Found Nin's outside the Garfield Conservatory around lunchtime. My pastor burrito was cooked to order on the spot; the spices were well blended and the sauces included were slightly spicy with a nice complexity of flavor. The pastor had some chewy pieces, but seemed authentic and tasted great. It was fresh and not overly greasy. Each aspect of the burrito was thought out, from toasting the tortilla to balancing the onion and cilantro flavors. I would go back, especially since I didn't notice the handwritten sign adding green tamales and birria to the menu until I'd already ordered. If they're as lovingly handcrafted as the burrito, they'll be delicious too.
Vegetarian options: There's a "veggie" option for each style of food, in addition to things like quesadillas or bean and rice-based entrees.“

We chose Chicago Taco Authority for our graduation celebration—and what an absolutely fantastic decision! The catering spread featured their Chicken Tinga Taco, vibrant Taco Salad, freshly made hand‑cut chips, and creamy guacamole/avocado—each item was packed with impeccable care and tasted incredibly fresh.
The Chicken Tinga Taco was a standout, with tender, savory shredded chicken seasoned just right—a fan favorite among our guests. The taco salad was bright, crisp, and loaded with fresh ingredients that felt premium and flavorful. The hand‑cut chips stayed crisp throughout the party, and that guac… oh my—it was creamy, ripe, and bursting with pure avocado goodness!
Every component arrived neatly organized, labeled, and still perfectly fresh—no sogginess, no mess—just beautiful presentation and incredible taste. My classmates and I couldn’t get enough!
I am excited to visit the restaurant in person to dive into more menu items and to experience the full in‑house vibe. Chicago Taco Authority has earned me as a loyal fan—highly recommend for any celebration! 🎉“

“I've been getting my food here since 2018. Mostly breakfast or brunch with my son. Love the food. The only thing right now I'm disappointed because I saw my account being overly charged after I used my card from your restaurant . I came today to get lunch my total is supposedly 26.55-- But instead it shows I'm charged 24.55 and a 10.50 service fee. This never happened before surprisingly , so I'll swing by tomorrow to sort it out what exactly happened.“

“Excuse the poor photo but man I was hungry , i haven't eaten here sense before the pandemic and I gotta say this place is still fire ? I ordered the skirt steak tacos which are topped with beans , cheese and salsa. I also ordered the al pastor and man im glad the quality haven't changed , the workers here are also friendly, I highly recommend anyone to give this place a try.“

“Good quiet Taco place. Tortillas are handmade and big. The carne asada and al pastor meat is cooked perfect with a lil char on the asada. A cash only place but also takes zelle/quickpay. Not too busy but good place if you want a quick but delicious bite.“

“The restaurant itself has a gorgeous modern trendy feel. Staff was courteous and attentive. And I loved the variations of entrees. It's not your typical mexican restaurant. They put a twist on EVERYTHING. Knowing that everything is made IN HOUSE is a plus for me. Definitely a place I would recommend for a party, family gathering or evening just a meal with friends.
