“I placed an order to go. Was informed that there was a $3.00 to go charge and a gratuity would be added on the order cause it was over $100.00. After I checked the receipt, $18.35 was the gratuity. I thought it would be maybe $5.00. Very disappointed. Had I known this, I would have come into the restaurant and ate there had them provide me with service. I am a senior and that was definetly not right. I've already instructed my family not to get me gift card from Maple and Jam.“

“This place had pretty yummy food. i got a peach crepe that was really good, maybe a little bit too sweet. my mother got a really good avocado toast.

the service was a little slow. we were sitting outside, and the waiters wouldn’t check up on us very often at all. besides that, our waitress was nice. my cousin ordered pecan pancakes, but because of my cousins accent the waitress thought she said bacon pancakes, and brought those. she was quick to bring the replacement pancakes.

my only big problem was the bees. there were SO MANY bees. 🐝 as soon as our food arrived the started coming to our table and swarming. they went on our food too. they wouldn’t go away. keep this in mind if you want to sit outside.“

“Don's. If you've ever had Waffle House, this is the closest I've found to it in Chi. Great food, great service. It's a bit tight, they only have about 12-15 barstool seats, but it's never been an issue, never had to wait.

“Orland Oasis hit the spot for breakfast. The place was quiet, simple, and laid back. Nothing fancy, just easy to sit down and eat.

The staff was super friendly. They checked in enough but didn’t hover, and they seemed like they actually cared about the people eating there.

I got the Everything Skillet with scrambled eggs. It had peppers, onions, mushrooms, bacon, basically a mix of everything. The veggies still had a little crunch, the bacon was crispy, and the whole thing just tasted good. Big enough to fill me up.

“I have the avocado lotto and it was plenty so much that I have enough for supper. The fruit was fresh and plentiful. The tunafish and cottage cheese were excellent. The patty melt with onions was cooked perfectly. It came with a cup of soup and a generous portion of coleslaw. We will definitely come back here again.“

“I come here once a week. I normally get 2 bowls of soup and my boyfriend gets 1 in addition to the other food we get. Today I wasn’t feeling well and wanted to get our soup to go. They wouldn’t sell us more than 2 cups of soup. Thats very irritating considering the fact we get 3 bowls every weekend. I can go down the street and get a whole quart of soup from another breakfast place. I will continue to come here because I love the food and service from Rachel but they need to step it up for sure. “I was excited to see that First Watch was finally open and we did not have a long time to wait before we got a table. The place was packed so we chose to eat outside where the wait was shorter. The food was amazing in the atmosphere was very chill. I had a meal full of sides that were all delicious. And my cousin had one of the specialty meals. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend First Watch.“

My main dish was the chilaquiles verdes, which had just the right amount of spice (not too hot). The rice and beans were super tasty, and the avocado, sour cream, and over-easy eggs on top were a great touch.
Prices are very reasonable, the service was spot-on, and the place was super clean. We had a party of 6 and were seated comfortably at our table — plenty of room for everyone.

“Great comfortable place to rest and eat a delicious meal. They will make whatever you like even if it's not on the menu. Whatever you order it's going to taste delicious!! Great friendly service and large portions of food. I am always taking leftovers home. My favorite is the double cheeseburger with everything. It includes grilled onions, delicious chilli and an egg on top. The egg is cooked the way you like it. I enjoy an over easy egg on top of my burger. OMG delicious!!
