“Chicken was hot and good tasting. The red beans and rice were just ok. The biscuit was subpar, wasn't hot, it was hard on the top and soft on the bottom. I remember when the biscuits used to be on point, that was back in the 80's and 90's. Hot and buttery biscuits ?“

“WOW...it's some of the best fast food. And the staff is soooo amazingly friendly and helpful. Those fries are fire. The sandwich is amazing. I will so be back and be back often. There isn't much seating, but I'd go even if I had to sit in the car to eat.“

“I go here for the chicken bowl. I like calling it a healthier and more authentic version of the burrito bowl from Chipotle. They also have some great deals that can feed a family. It comes with the whole grilled chicken, rice, beans, tortillas, and other toppings. When I went it was Cash Only!!“

“First time going today. Took the family because I saw they served food for kids too. They have a deal 2 for $10 chicken sandwich so we tried that out. Bought large fries which was enough for all of us plus some, Mac n cheese for my son and another chicken sandwich for my daughter. Paid under $40 with drinks. I tried the hot chicken sandwich with coleslaw and I’ll tell you what, it’s very good on par with fry the coop, and I love fry the coop, the fries were crispy and seasoned I had them mild, also great flavor. Mac n cheese was delicious. I can say that this is one of my go tos for now on for hot chicken sandwich, this and fry the coop. I highly recommend this place. The owners were nice as well. “Insane garlic and soy chicken. I recommend eating Korean fried chicken here with a large group of friends. Their menu is complete with staple comfort foods and drinks. The server didn't check in often, but it was very busy on a Saturday night so we didn't mind. Overall, it's a solid place with a woody, clean setting. Simple but delicious! -AT“

“Was the perfect solution to a meal (and then some) for us busy folks. We got the wing dinner and were blown away by the seasoning, the choice of sauces and fast easy pick up. Seriously, as good as the chicken we got when we were eating our way across the South. I’m super stoked to have such high quality close by and not have to deal with a big chain…i do hope they develop a fried chicken sandwich to rival ole P**eyes, of course…but i know they’re just getting started! 10/10!“

Ordered extra Cole slaw, but it was not in the bag however, I received a courtesy call from the order taker stating she was sorry and will make sure I will get it on my next order. “This place is so good!So far, I've had the hummus, mixed olives, rainbow bowl with peri-peri chicken thighs, chicken bowl with thighs, coleslaw, and a couple of skewers. Everything that I've had, slaps. Everything is so bright and full of flavor. The sauces and marinades are excellent and the facility is clean and chill.In a city choked with Potbelly sandwich shops, burger joints, and Jimmy Johns, this place is an oasis of flavor. “Citybird is a great spot for chicken tenders! All their sauces are delicious and the tenders have a flavorful coating. After trying all their items, my favorite is surprisingly the salad with 3 tenders on the side! The salad has a ton of different high quality ingredients. I like getting the citybird vinaigrette but lemon thyme ranch is also amazing. The fries are really good and such a great deal for the amount they give. The bathroom is always clean. There's street parking along Halsted that you may have to pay for, except for holidays and Sundays. Definitely an underrated, affordable and delicious restaurant and West Loop. Service is great too, if you dine in they bring the food on nice plates to your table.“

“I first had Gus' around Memphis area and it tasted great for fried chicken. It includes a very small spice kick but with great flavor and cooked well. This tasted similar to Memphis area, so consistency is good so far.My order had a very minor mix-up and the staff were happy to help correct it. Great service, great food.I personally think the pricing is too high considering it is chicken, but at the least the flavor is great and worth it for maybe once a week. This is the same problem at the Memphis area for high pricing, it's quite similar.“

“Best frango assado (grill chicken) the spices are combined just the right way. The level is spices, is according to your taste. Nice collection and selection of art from South Africa. It is a great mix of Portuguese cuisine and African cuisine. If you never tried it is a must, see for yourself. I bet you will enjoy it.“

“The food is always good and fresh ?...the young lady at the window failed to give me my receipt. I had to go into the store. It is important that we get a receipt, especially when using a debit or visa card. The theft is real in these days and times.“

“I'm no stranger to Nando's but this is my first time having it in another state! Of course the chicken was freshly grilled and the plates were colorful. The Brussels really stole the show. The chicken lacked flavor, which was odd because u specifically chose 2 different flavors. It's almost like you won't taste anything unless you add sauces to each bite of chicken. The service was awkward. They have a host table but don't host you! You sit at your table and scan the QR code menu. They want you to order, etc. on your own phone. It's great for less person to person contact but the app wasn't working for me and a few others! After waiting and trying so often, we ended up ordering with the host/bar.“

“Best hot chicken around! Better than Joella's, Raising Cane's by far. Their ingredients are all natural and the spices are balanced and consistent across experiences. Staff is legit and remembers returning customers. If you are at the Orland mall, you owe it to yourself and to your family to at least try this chicken. Many other choices available. “Great fried chicken! Chicken falls right off the bone and is super juicy. The skin is very crispy and is not overly seasoned. The French fries had the perfect crunch on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I'm not a fan of Cole slaw at all, but the Cole slaw here is good! Lastly the fritters, I had no idea what a fritter was, but man it was good. I see why they are sold buy the dozens. If you haven't tried this place yet, do yourself a favor and try it. “An uber rider of mine, William a.k.a. "Baker", a brotha, told me to go here and try the chicken breast dinner with mild sauce. I tried this today and it is the bomb, like he said. I'm a korean uber driver. This chicken breast has a deep smokey flavor where the leg and thighs do not.It is a 9.5 out of 10 experience; you should try it. The breast is the only one that is smoked, I think. So make note of that and get the breast dinner combo with fries, and tell them mild sauce!“

“A good boba and dessert place! We got the Double Mix Shaved Ice with Strawberry and Mango. The strawberry and mango pieces were juicy and paired well with the shaved ice underneath. Some of the pieces weren't as sweet or ripe but overall was really fresh. There was a small layer of hidden red bean in the middle that added another flavor profile. But in all, there was just too much ice compared to topping ratio so that we ended up with just a large amount of shaved ice at the bottom. We also got the King of Oolong Tea which was oolong tea with a cheese foam on top. It was a very refreshing drink with the tea pairing really well with the creamy foam. The service was fast with two touchscreen kiosks in the front where you can see pictures of the items. We got our drinks really fast. There are plenty of seats to sit for you to enjoy your drinks and desserts. It is a casual establishment but with cute cactus designs.“

“Late post..but a HONEST one ….Mother’s Day May 14,2023 …on Mother’s Day I was wore out during the day activities going to church and afterwards of this and that I decided not to cook cause it’s Mother’s Day and I decided to get some take out and then we decided to go to Captain Hook’s to get this and that for dinner …First time I step into the place ( always order over the phone hubby pick it up or deliver) but to my surprise it’s a neat and clean place and some restaurants be gloom with the gloomy lights this place is bright and cheerful kinda feel to it ..I order my meal ( The man who works there his customer services was on point ) he was nice well after I got my meal he was so polite he told me on the behalf for Mother’s Day the mothers get a free dessert ( I was eyeing the slices of cake before he even speak lol when I came in ) was a nice touch at the end of a long day …In other words I enjoy my little visit and the worker who was in charge was a delightful pleasant person“

We ordered the whole chicken and half chicken with 2 sides of rice and 2 sides of the charro beans (with delivery totaled 50 and some change) it was delicious. The chicken came with salsa, tortillas. The delivery was super fast too. We ordered at 550 and the food was at my door at 611.“

“The chicken tenders are always delicious and the buns too! I always order an extra one. Why aren’t there more locations around Chicago? Like at the Pulaski Promenade at 41st and Pulaski? There’s still some open land to build a restaurant by those stores.“
