“Def would consider casual dining. We ordered 7 different dishes all were amazing and tasted authentic. Not your typical Thai restaurant from my experience- lots of fresh herbs and unique flavors. Also food is very reasonably priced- will def visit again.“

The reason its not 5 stars, its because I rated in comparison to other green curries ive had. The curry was a little light, I like it a bit thicker. And the vegetables were also light (not a lot).“

“I've been here 3 times. I would say it's the best Thai in south loop and they do have some good dishes, but I wish they would work on consistency. Some dishes can be overly salty or the food is luke warm. I'd rather the dishes be hot and ready rather then all of the dishes come out at the same time with some dishes being hot and some barely warm. Got the creamy crab curry with lump crab meat, red curry roasted half duck, crying tiger steak, pad kee mau this time.
Cream crab curry: 7/10 love that they give you a lot of crab meat. Disappointed how salty it was
Red curry with duck 7/10. Last time it was a 8.5 out of time, but was missing this time. Everyone thought it was okay even though this was the hottest (as in temp) dish.
Crying tiger steak: 7/10. Luke warm. The dipping sauce was good. The texture of the steak wasn't there. the garlic rice in the basket was warm and tasty.
Pad kee mau: 9/10 very good flavors but also not warm :(. Definitely everyone's favorite
Mango sticky rice:8.5/10 giant chunks of mango, ripe. Rice is soft, good texture. Not too sweet. Would definitely get it again

“I haven't had any opportunity to visit this location in years but my server (the owner) gently reminded me of her previous location in Chicago's Coast on Dearborn Street and immediately my memory was jarred. This particular location is convenient if you live in Printer's Row (South Loop) and the menu is diverse featuring traditional Thai curry dishes, noodle 🍜 entrees, rice dishes, wonderful soup 🍲 and various seafood options including sushi 🍣 and sashimi. I chose the seafood soup which is primarily broth, mushrooms, mussels, shrimp, squid 🐙 and a variety of onions 🌰 and lemongrass. If you're not feeling well I highly recommend you order their specialty soups because you'll instantly feel better because of all the ginger and other herbs used that make these broths so flavorful. Another must is ordering the Thai ice tea 🍵 and Thai iced coffee ☕ it's one of the best in Chicago and tasty like a dessert. The restaurant itself is cozy and laid back with plenty of booths by the window if you enjoy people watching. I remember visiting here in the summer years ago and enjoying outdoor patio seating so I hope 🙏 they bring that back this summer so I can relax outside with my mountain dog 🐕 If you love traditional Thai food in a non fussy setting you will definitely appreciate this independently owned family restaurant.“

“My family and I traveled to Chicago twice this year and dined at the Asian Cuisine Express both times. The owner, cooks and wait staff were all extremely friendly and made each of our visits a wonderful experience. We ordered Chinese and Japanese food and we also sampled some of their new delicious tacos... everything we tried was absolutely fantastic. We live 300 miles away so we ordered a lot of takeout to bring home with us to share with our friends who didn't get to make the trips. Asian Cuisine express will be a regular stop now for us every time we go to Chicago... we highly recommend everyone tries this restaurant and we can't wait until we visit there again. “Dine in is wonderful, staff is great, tables are nice and ambience is good. We ordered the Happy family and the pho, 10/10 stars all around. I would totally recommend this place to eat out with friends and family, they accommodate you really well. Owners are very very nice and humble. I’ve ordered Togo a lot of times before and it’s always been quick and fresh. They have a bar with many many selections. This is a family owned business I think so I try to be patient. This is my go-to spot whenever I want any type of asain dish!“

In town for Pokémon Fest. 3 total of our group went to get takeout after returning to our rental. I got the dumplings and orange chicken I cant remember what the other 2 got and they left for the day, but we all sampled everything, and it was amazing.
The gentleman working was very friendly, and as we waited for out food even gave us a glass of water.. and Chicago you got decent tap water.
