“Delicious menu and unique representation of Mediterranean food in Chicagoland.I personally think the space is small for family to comfortably eat but if you don’t mind then have at it. Bashka is a must have and rest is your choice! Definitely recommend!“

“I went here for the first time last week and I plan on going back today! I wanted to bring my auntie some good Arabic food and when I found out this place had mensaf in a cup, I was sold. First let me say how nice the gentlemen at the counter were. Very nice and friendly! Next up, the food was AMAZING! They made my order EXACTLY how I asked and loaded the shawarma with chicken! They gave me a few extra pieces of falafel and wow, so fresh, so hot, and sooo good! I live in Indiana but this will be my new go to spot when I’m craving yummy middle eastern food. “I had the best experience at Abd’s diner! My son had an impromptu birthday party at my house. I went to Abd diner and asked them to have food for a 7 adults in less than 45 minutes. The response was “absolutely!” Because of their awesome portions, I had enough food for 10 people!!! Everyone in the family raved about the food and had enough to take leftovers. “This is a favorite local chain of mine that makes legit Nashville hot chicken and serves up southern sweet tea to go with it. You can save the trip to Nashville to get hot chicken and stop in here! The medium spice is savory with a hint of heat and it goes up quick from there! The tenders are a great way to get a variety of heat if you want to sample the levels!“

“A really great little place. My go-to for grilled burgers. If I had to say anything negative, maybe the sides of feta are a little small for the price. But I can always get that at the grocery store.It's somewhat greasy, good food when you have a taste for it.Dietary restrictions: I have a fish allergy, and I've never had a reaction from any of the food. So they do a good job keeping the fish/shrimp separate.“

“Mostly the food was very good for real but I got a Gladiator burger that did not have everything on it that they said it would on there plus I asked for peppers and they neglected to put that and yet they put the top part of the tomato that has that brown circle where the stem was on it. I can't eat that and I don't want that on my $11 burger! and that was the only piece of tomato. it made me feel like they don't like me! Then the fried okra was overcooked tough and horrible.“

“I would consider this a hole in the wall Gem! I found this place on Yelp and was very glad we stopped. My husband and I ordered chili cheese dogs with fries and I asked for cheese for my fries and then we ordered a Dika Sausage to share. My mouth is watering thinking about it. The owners were there working and were very nice people. I especially like they have lent specials and vegetarian options. I love meat, but I enjoy trying different things during lent. They have a large variety of options. I hope we can return and try some of their other menu items.“

“I stopped for lunch while I was in the area. I had the two hot dog special. The hot dogs were very good. The toppings were all right, could have used a little more. The dog only had one small piece of tomato.The fries could have been cooked a bit longer, but they were plentiful.There are about 5 tables and one that runs along the window.The people were friendly and helpful.I will return the next time I'm in the area.Bicycling: The streets are very busy and don't seem bicycle friendly. I did not see any outdoor seating.“

“I love their Gyros. I just wanted to say that I think it is insane that they have no menus at their place to take home with you. That is a great way to get continued customers. Also they only stay open until 9 pm. Many people get hungry for fast food later than that. Oh well, I think they lose business by doing those 2 things.“

“Great place for great food. Arguably the best mom and pop shop around. I've gotten to try at least a quarter of the menu and everything Is tasty. They even serve soft serve ice cream! The one thing you can always expect is hot food fresh of the grill or out the fryer!Aside from great food. They also have great service. “i accidentally ordered the wrong sandwhich and was willing to pay for the one i originally wanted to buy but the wonderful staff insisted on taking care of it free of charge and i couldn’t thank them enough. excellent service and i was in & out within 5 minutes. a blonde woman who worked the cashier handled the whole situation and was even able to bring my sandwhich out to me in my car, i wish i could’ve got her name!“

“If you read any of the reviews for Al's Drive In online, people have a ton of nostalgia for this place. I find nostalgia for a restaurant can play a negative role for those who don't have the association, but that wasn't the case for me who only ate here for the first time today. The Chicago dog and super taco were solid but the combination fried rice was the hero for me. Never thought l'd find this kind of wok hei flavor from a Chicago Red Hots institution in Maywood, IL that would remind me so much of the fried rice I grew up with at my Chinese immigrant family's restaurant in Arizona. Honestly just throw in some bean sprouts and you'd have a 1:1 copy. I may not have the same nostalgia that a lot of the usuals have with Al's, but that familiar taste of home is so present in every bite of this fried rice. I'm immediately transported to teenage me devouring a large combination fried rice at my own family's restaurant after working a full day's 12hr shift in the summer and immediately passing out in my bed when I got home. I wish I had started coming here sooner.“

“Somewhat quiet place to get a meal. Tried their shakshuka and was pleasantly surprised with how good it tasted. The staff were incredibly hospitable and were very helpful with answering questions. Their house made jam was also amazing and went really well with the English muffin.“

“My girlfriend and I visited last week. Immediately, we were both very enlivened by the warm and personable interactions we received. Our food came quickly and our usual extra requests were met with care. When we were finishing our food which we both enjoyed, the owner who had just come out from working the kitchen to relax and asked us how everything was before sitting down. I made a point to approach and say how good the coleslaw was. The owner responded very appreciatively and explained that they try to make it with good intention. Overall, we felt like we were contributing to the livelihood of good people that took a long time to build. We were both heartened by our experience at Kismet and if you’re thinking of eating here, we highly recommend it.“

“I came in tonight and was excited because I’ve been craving a jrito crunch and have been for about 3 years and my buddy Carl told all his fb friends that owner is a previous franchisee of jrs and they have the chil ito which is this same xact indgredients (yes same chili and cheese and same chips as jrito everything was phenomenal came from Thornton which is about a half hour plus drive. So so worth the drive I refused to touch anything til I got home so I could enjoy that first bite. So far since then I haven't seen much hostility toward the employees unless it's from impatient customers who struggle to comprehend that they're not the only people waiting.Anyways, I've received exceptional service lately. Mainly from a very kind tall man with a beard and slightly longer hair. I wish I would've asked for his name.There's also another taller man who has a little stubble and glasses, he always greets me and calls me sir, which is cool because I'm actually transgender and I get a confidence boost each time I see him. Thank you. :)The food has improved as well, and their speed is top notch. I will admit Friday night was very busy BUT the employees handled it very well and professionally.Thank you for your hard work, guys. Anyone who says "fast food isn't hard work" is SO wrong. It's a very stressful environment and it's clear you have amazing employees who work extremely hard to keep the quality high and the wait time low. :)“

“Best customer service I’ve probably ever had. Decided to go on a lunch date with my 3 very young children. My 2 year old must have eaten too fast and got sick all over herself, me, and the table. One of the workers ran over to help and told me to not worry about a thing. She even helped clean up my 2 year old. The manager came over and was so incredibly sweet and extremely helpful as well. Even asked what my favorite, my kids favorite ice cream was and packed up a bunch of pints on the house! I’m not sure that I’ve experienced customer care even close to this - so unbelievably grateful for the amazing staff here.“

I got the two for $7.99 hot dog w/ fries special, the hot Italian beef sandwich and I got a Polish dog deep-fried. HOTT DAMN everything was so damn tasty. From the fries to giardiniera that fell off my Italian sandwich. The service was great, more like fun cuz they all you 2 or 3 times what you got so they can make sure they get it right. We like to walk there during the summer and enjoy a peanut buster parfait or one of their many special blizzards. They have a very large menu with a little something for everyone. The prices are fair and the food is tasty. They offer bottled beers as well as some Mexican drinks. There is usually some sort of sport game playing on the large TV. They also have a separate gambling room. I have been here numerous times and try something different to eat each time. Overall, it's a nice place to stop and grab a quick bite to eat. The atmosphere is just a place to eat with customers ranging from people of all backgrounds. If you are in the area and need a quick bite this is a good place to go eat.“

“I come here often, and it is amazing every time. The food never disappoints and is always fresh which really elevates it. The pairing of some bumper sauce as well as super fresh meat and onions will always slap. In terms of service, always great. They’re friendly and the ordering board electronically is super effective. “So I might be biased cause I was really hungry when I ordered. That hunger when you wait till 4pm to eat. Ordered online. Even with 3 different drinks and no onions on the burger, everything I picked up was prefect. Husband said the Boasted chicken was extremely good. I had the burger and I’m telling you it hit the spot! in my opinion this burger might just be better than Portillo’s. And you get a bigger portion too. We had the strawberry mimosas, a skillet, and the breakfast burger. (Not the actual names of the dishes) Burger was cooked perfectly and the skillet was delicious too. This place is huge! “If they're out of slices (at 12:30 middle of the week), the counter will act like it's the most exasperating request known to man to ask.If I was out of something, I'd be at least inviting, maybe suggest something else.Or if you're getting asked so much, and something is THAT popular - put a sign up, but don't make your customer feel like they're a burden on you cause they want to give you money for a product.I made a large order a few days prior to that for a family dinner, and the food was great. They initially forgot an entire panzarotti that I had to drive back for, not even a smile, or an apology.Your food is good, but not good enough to treat people poorly. I want to give 3 stars, but the back of the house shouldn't suffer because the front of the house needs work. Do better.“

“One of my favorite fast food places. You basically can't go wrong with any of the menu items.I normally get the spacy delux chicken sandwich. It's my go to.And why not? Finish the dinner with a milk shake.My only comment and suggestion is to make the regular lemonade a tiny less sweeter. It is addicted, but I think it is too sweet.“

Service is fast but no place to eat inside unless you want to stand at a counter. Outside seating is available but only 4 tables. It is purely takeout place. For a family of 4 your going to spend $45 to 50 for 4 regular beefs and 2 large fries.“
