“Yesterday was my first time visiting this location, and overall I had a really good experience 😊 The food was super delicious and full of flavor, and the portions were very generous - definitely more than enough to feel satisfied 🍽️👌 I’ll absolutely be coming back again!

One small thing that could be improved is clearer signage. There wasn’t anything indicating that you can seat yourself, so I assumed I needed to order at the counter and wait for a number 🤔 Turns out I was completely wrong, and for a moment I thought I was about to get scolded 😅 The lady at the counter helped fix my order and guided me, and then I was able to sit down.

“This place is truly one of the best spots for Mexican food 🌮😋! I tried a steak burrito and some steak tacos, and the flavor of the steak was amazing 🤤. “I’ve been driving past Taco Boom Truck for what feels like forever, always catching a whiff of grilled meat or seeing a small line of people and thinking, “One day I’ll stop.” Well, I finally did, and man, I should’ve done it way sooner.

It’s a simple setup, parked off the road, colorful, and always smelling amazing. People were hanging out, eating, and the service was quick and friendly. The guy at the window even gave me some salsa tips when I told him it was my first time.

I went with two carne asada tacos. No exaggeration, the meat was so tender and juicy, with this really nice char on the edges. You could taste the seasoning in every bite, nothing overpowering, just that good mix of garlic, citrus, and smoky flavor. The tortillas were warm, soft but sturdy enough to hold everything together (no taco explosions, which is always a win).

The green salsa? Wild. It started off kind of mild, then hit with this spicy, peppery kick that crept up in the best way. It had some creamy avocado vibes too, which made it super addictive. Honestly, I kept dipping even after I ran out of taco.

If you’re in the mood for solid tacos that hit all the right notes, Taco Boom is 100% worth the stop. I already know I’ll be back.“

“A) Taco de pescado
* It’s good. No crunch. Barely battered if any. Mayo sauce is delicious and spicy. I would try again
B) Taco de tripa
* They were the best I’ve had so far. The meat was tender with bite and they had no smell. Really good.
C) Taco de asada
* It’s okay. I do like them better from a different restaurant but for a nearby taco, I’d buy again.
D) Taco de carnitas
* it’s okay. I would do a little less cuerito but that’s personal preference. It was a very soft taco.
E) Taco pastor
* The meat is thin strips and it’s smoky. It’s a good pastor taco. Cuts are pretty even. I like that it’s not a bulky pastor. It would be 10x with a few pieces of pineapple was added. I think it’s missing it.
F) Taco de Cabeza
* It was soft and delicious. I will be ordering more of these. Good flavor as well.

“Pacheco's food is delicious and generous and they are always so friendly!! For my money, it is the best taco salad in the city. They have brightened up that little spot and we are so grateful to have them as neighbors ❤“

“Surprisingly for a hidden taco joint in a gas station, it’s great. I’ve had the tacos, burritos, and torta. The el pastor burrito is delicious! Their burrito tortilla is not like those thin stretchy flour tortillas, it’s great for burritos. The steak, lengua, and el pastor tacos are good too! The carnita taco is okay, not the best but it’s good. The torta is one of my go to’s. It can be a bit pricy but I think it’s worth it if you have the money to spend lol.“

“My family and I traveled to Chicago twice this year and dined at the Asian Cuisine Express both times. The owner, cooks and wait staff were all extremely friendly and made each of our visits a wonderful experience. We ordered Chinese and Japanese food and we also sampled some of their new delicious tacos... everything we tried was absolutely fantastic. We live 300 miles away so we ordered a lot of takeout to bring home with us to share with our friends who didn't get to make the trips. Asian Cuisine express will be a regular stop now for us every time we go to Chicago... we highly recommend everyone tries this restaurant and we can't wait until we visit there again. “Burritos are huge. Don’t recommend the shrimp tacos or chorizo, really salty even when eaten with the rice. Our waitress Guadalupe was rude, doesn’t know how to smile, and kept rushing us. Took a star off because of her.

Really hated that the tip was mandatory with no option to adjust. Tipped almost $20 for absolute garbage service. Will Not return“

“This place was so good! My boyfriend, baby, and I came here to dine in yesterday and the food was phenomenal. We were looking for queso barria tacos on google and they showed up. The server was awesome. They didn’t have a kids menu but I asked if they can do rice and eggs for the baby and they did just that he loved his meal as well! “Some of the best tacos. My wife and I got of the highway on our way home because we were hungry. We googled this place and went to try it.
We are picky about our tacos but these were delicious! Tortilla doradita made the tacos even better. Wife’s torta was also delicious.

“Bit of a wait which is ok since I am a patient person. Tried the steak tacos, actually very flavorful but fell apart when trying to eat it. Not the best value as I paid 12$ for 2 tacos. Portions are a bit small on the taco but less calories that way. I would give this place a 7/10 has lots of room to improve.“

“I have ordered from El Molino Taqueria several times. Their tacos al pastor and tacos con pollo are *outstanding*...SO tasty! I get my tacos with just cilantro (simply because I don't personally like raw onions. I sometimes also get crema on my tacos, and it goes REALLY well with their al pastor.

Their tacos con carne asada are also nice, as is the barbacoa meat.

The beans and rice are lovely. Mmmmm.

The regular flan is...meh. It's a bit watery. Not bad, but not great. HOWEVER! The Flan Napolitano? It is AMAZING! It is *dense* and *smooth* and not too sweet and not eggy and it is a *perfect* texture and flavor and amount of sweet. it is FANTASTIC.“

“This place tacos are little but they are good. The wait time is disgustingly looooonnggg I went through the drive through and I was waiting 25 minutes just for two tacos. People started to pull off. The lady at the window was nasty. No customers service skills what so ever. She wants me to tap my card after waiting dang near 30 mins in the drive through line without confirming my order to me. These bite size tacos isn’t worth it.“
