The burrata was a highlight — fresh and flavorful — and the pasta dishes were enjoyable, especially the truffle gnocchi, which had great depth of flavor. We also really liked the red wine blend. Worth a visit if you're looking for a dependable Italian option in the area.“

“We drove down from Milwaukee. I’ve been wanting to try Tortello since they’ve opened and I found out that they source their eggs from where I get mine (they are the best). Dario was kind, friendly, and extremely engaging. The food was fantastic. We started with Focaccia Ricotta & Honey which was ridiculously good. I had the spaghetti pomodoro which was perfectly balanced sauce to pasta to cheese. My husband had the Cacio e Pepe and devoured it. Our son had the Kids Lumache and ate half (he’s only two) and inhaled the rest tonight. It smelled even better the second time around if that’s possible. Best authentic Italian I’ve had in the States. Felt great after too, not like I’d eaten a pound of pasta. If you aren’t making plans to go sometime soon…you’re missing out!“

“I ordered the mid-week take home special last week and we loved the selections. The soup was gnocchi with a short rib meat filling and a short rib broth. The dinner was boar's meat and sauce with kale. The dessert was fill your own cannoli. Everything was delicious and the instructions for reheating were easy. It's my third time getting it. So fun!“

However , I remember the songs being put on the Pizza at later in the cooking process so that the sauce remained fresher.Tasting , prior to taking it out of the oven.... “Today was my first time here, and I had the best pasta I have ever had in Chicago! The pasta tastes authentic with fresh ingredients. I had the Portabello Ravioli and Cesar Salad. The place receives to go and delivery orders, no problem for a local or for someone wanting to pick up fantastic food.“

“For the first time since passing them by often I finally ordered from jerk yard hyde Park, through uber eats they offered a by one get one free of the quarter dark jerk dinner, though Awesome right I thought No! the chicken was old gave me a small corner of cabbage and a ton of peas and rice, very disappointed I don't like when restaurants want to get rid of old food yet they will sell it to a customer something that really upsets me when I'm spending my money... Give me fresh food please and thank you, your deal my money I deserve better.... also I ordered a side of sweet potatoes which were ok the jerk sauce not so good too tangy where's the spice 🤔“
