“Great experience from the moment you walk on the door. The staff is very welcoming. The bar is a great place to start or even enjoy a meal. The main dinning area is expansive which can add a bit of noise but didn't hold back our conversation.
The food menu is delightful and offers enough choice. The starters are shareable and the bread is fantastic. Personal I had the American Wagyu and mushrooms - classic and outstanding.
Great beverage and the wine list.

“The food and experience were both amazing. We started off with the Florida Stone crab and Madagascar shrimp. Both were delicious. My boyfriend got the 12 ounce filet and I got the seafood platter (with lobster, scallops, and shrimp). We shared the sides jennie’s mashed potatoes and lobster macaroni and cheese (a lot of lobster in it)! The steak was the best he’s ever had. Both sides were delicious. My lobster and shrimp were the best ever and scallops good too. We ended with banana crème pie and espresso martinis which were also amazing. Servers very attentive. They brought wet rags after each messy appetizer. Great atmosphere and perfect for a romantic date. Best meal ever. Definitely recommend!“

Came to BROWN bag seafood for a quick bite before checking into my hotel. Inquired with the host about food recommendations. She recommended the lobster roll or the fish and chips. Giving such a great description of the lobster roll I went with it. I was not disappointed. The tater tots were cooked to perfection and the lobster roll was delicious. Definitely try some of the boss sauce as well! Even left with some Swedish fish!

They’re always open when I need them, and the taste is consistently amazing every time. I literally drive 30 minutes just to come here, and that should tell you everything. I have a Sharks Fish & Chicken near my house and it does not compare at all. Captain Hook’s is on a whole different level.“

“I have gone to Andros Taverna for many years now where I am never disappointed and always impressed with the service, the quality of food and ingredients, the atmosphere and the passion in general. Chef Doug Psaltis is a true expert and artist performing at the highest levels. The gyros are the best, best gyros in Chicago by far, the seafood world class, the homemade bread and pita are incredible. The foods and meats are cooked over wood fire, wood fire grilled. We had our daughters baptism catered from here which was excellent assortment of Greek food - this is a Greek restaurant you will go to for many years to come.“

“I went for a friends graduation brunch, and it was definitely a hopping spot in the city, and I can see the appeal for the rooftop views alone, but I think it’s a bit overpriced for what you’re getting in my opinion. I had the biscuits and gravy ($25) which was fine but also strange in that it tasted more like a chowder than gravy. I also got the chocolate chip cookies which were and came in an order of 3 for $12. As I said, a bit overpriced for cookies, but actually felt worth it for their size and deliciousness. Of course, part of why you’re coming here is for the views and this place did not disappoint! Despite it being a very hot day outside, there was a good crowd out there especially because there’s a bar on the patio as well. And even though it was very busy throughout the entire time there, my party and I had fairly consistent service, although I did have my drink order forgotten, but the server ended up comping me for it, which made up for it.“

I use to go to the one on Randolph, but I no longer work in the city so today I took the Metra to the one that’s just a 5 minute walk from the OTC station and this location did not disappoint. I love their veggie blend, the juice that they put on it makes it a 10/10 & it’s honestly the reason I come here. I usually get the salmon with the veggie blend but today I tried the grains and I was not a fan, so Kim and Jose made it right. Kim is so pleasant, attentive and had great customer service. I can see why Jose won the “extra mile” award, he remade my meal which was totally unexpected but very much appreciated and him going the extra mile for me means I’ll keep going the extra miles on the Metra for my Brown Bag. Jose was very personable, kind and helpful. Thank you!
