“We stopped in for delicious tacos, chips, Dos Exius, Corona on our way to a concert at the United Center. Talk about amazing! The food was so, so good: authentic, simple, delightful. Mercedes greeted us and checked in before, during & after our meal - so wonderful! Diana was our waitstaff and treated us very well. A FANTASTIC experience.“

“I ordered a half-diablo, half-green chilaquiles, while my husband opted for the morita ones. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The diablo chilaquiles were definitely made in hell, hahaha! Our favorite part was the side potatoes. The food tasted like breakfast made by grandma! The portions were huge; we only managed to finish half of it. And the coffee had that homemade taste. We’d go back for sure!“

“This is not a fancy place. This is, however, a great place to try for their family recipes. I grew up in North Texas so I have eaten in a few shredded cheese and lettuce joints. I didn't have high expectations; the local CPL librarian recommended it.\n\nI ordered Lobo en Chili de Arbol. I was warned the sauce was hot. It was terrific and flavorful.\n\nThe beans and rice were both excellent and home made. The salsas and guac were fresh, the relish was homemade, and the tortilla chips were very freshly prepared.\n\nConsidering the high quality and solid portion size, I found the prices reasonable.“

“This spot is a must try. I use to live across the street from this restaurant and would go often. Food was always consistent. I live 40 minutes away now and currently pregnant. All I’m craving is the Mexican burger from Las Brazas. Do yourself a favor and just go!“

“Food was very good, margaritas were strong, server was attentive, and restaurant was clean. However, I do want to clarify a few things:

- If you’re white and can’t handle spice very well, this likely isn’t the place for you. This is NOT the Americanized Tex mex food from your local Mexican joint you’re likely used to. It’s a more authentic, spiced up kind of food, though still good.

- if you’re expecting the “liquidy” kind of queso for tortilla chips, you won’t get that here. It’s more of a melted mozzarella/ oaxaqueña cheese that you eat with soft flour tortillas.

- first order of chips and salsa is free, subsequent orders are $2 extra.

“THe 6.99 on the window is a little misleading, expect to spend 15-25 per person. Great service, very authentic, great place to practice spanish or not have to worry about knowing english. Amazing food and if your lucky Mariachis sometimes come by. Plenty of parking available and despite it being a very nice neighborhood parking lot is protected by surveillance cameras visible from your seat in the resteratant . Fun, delicious, and high security protection... Amazing ;)“

“Prices was a bit expensive. But I am the type of person that strongly believe in you get what you pay for. If you pay less you get less. And the food was excellent, fresh flavor was good. I ordered a Burrito and it looked small but it did fill me up. So it's a case of Quality over Quantity. I'll go with Quality people. 😉“

“It's ususlly our to go breakfast spot. They have a lot of options. All good choices. Tacos for a dollar fifty Mon to Fri. Can't get any better than that. Food is really good and they have good customer service. The prices are not bad also.

Parking: It has a small parking lot bur there's also street parking.“
