“I heard a lot about this place through out the years! I have tried to stop in but for 1 reason or another it was closed so let’s dive into this review. Incredible Fantastic Phenomenal Amazing Spectacular Food! Freddy’s is the Famiglia on Holidays and your Nona’s and Zia’s all cooking pumping out hot fresh delicious food from all the Kitchens
(typically 2 in most Italian households 1 upstairs and 1 in bashement) lol 😂
Freddy’s is like I went back to 1990’s St.Calistus St.Joseph’s table. Stop in the Food Service and Establishment all live up to its promises. You can not have a bad meal here.

“Tried the express menu last weekend for the first time and was NOT disappointed. Vegan birria tacos (made with perfectly seasoned mushrooms) were excellent, though I have to admit the consomé wasn't, unfortunately. But the vegan soul plate was all good. The fried hearts of palm were tasty and crunchy, the mac and cheese was creamy and not too heavy, the sweet potatoes were Thanksgiving-y, and the greens did their job. And the hibiscus and ginger tea I ordered was delicious! I just wish it was less than a 40-minute drive for me, but what can you do?“

“This place has great food! The service was wonderful , and the salsa with chips were terrific. It was in need of some music playing in the background because it kinda felt like eating in a library! The huaraches are great and so are the gorditas. Try the micheladas. I would recommend this place!

Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian huaraches. (No meat)

Parking: There is street parking available, but limited spaces.

Kid-friendliness: They have a kid's menu.

Wheelchair accessibility: There aren't any steps to get in. However, there are 2 doors to open to get inside, and that might raise concern for someone entering in a wheelchair.“

“Incredible experience everytime. 2nd birthday and one anniversary celebrated here. The service is phenomenal with how welcoming, attentive and intentional they are.

The food is incredible as always. It is one of the most fine dining meals I've ever had quite honestly with flavor, ingredients, presentation and creativity.

“What you want from more of an upscale vegan place. Went in very hungry and tried a lot of things. Don’t sleep on the broccoli appetizer—that was my favorite dish. The ramen was my least favorite—would try a different main next time. It is pricier, but the value for money feels right. We got a ton of dishes and drinks and our bill was under $200 for two people. We didn’t need to order as much as we did, but I only visit Chicago occasionally so it was a treat.“

“My Fiancé and I discovered this restaurant after watching “Somebody Feed Fill” and were inspired and intrigued by Sarah’s restaurant and craftsmanship. We had our eye on getting reservations here for a very long time and we ended up landing lunch reservations for my Fiancés birthday (whom is also a Chef). We just happened to be seated by the expo line near the kitchen where we saw Sarah working. From start to finish our server Rose, and Sarah made sure our experience was personalized special. “Menu is versatile and delivers whether you’re going for a quick lunch or a nice dinner. Pork is the specialty and I vouch. I don’t order tenderloins at restaurants typically but this is probably the best I’ve had — perfectly cooked and a great dish overall. Not among the top echelon of Michelin restaurants ive been to, but not far behind.“

“A treat for all of the senses! My introduction to The Gundis was a Sunday breakfast. What a beautiful feast was laid before me, my husband and a local friend who we were visiting. We ordered the Kurdish breakfast for two plus an order of baklawa crêpes. An array of colorful, tantalizingly-scented dishes soon filled our table. Superb savory and sweet flavors awaited our taste buds. All of us were amazed by the diverse deliciousness. The atmosphere and service were also excellent. “I am late writing my review but I had to write it !! I visited provare chicago On july 8th !! From start to finish this restaurant gets 5 starts . The decor was nice and set a perfect atmosphere for a great night . We were greeted immediately upon arrival and seated within 5 minutes of being there . Once seated the wait staff began their introduction's on drinks and popular menu item's. After my party ordered drinks and appetizers a gentleman came over (not sure if he was the manager) and introduce himself and made sure we were having a great experience. Appetizers were amazing!! We couldn't wait for dinner!! Our entrées we just as good if not better ! Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection! When we didn't think the night could get even better the entire wait staff and the gentleman that came over before stopped and recognized my friend for her birthday and brought over a birthday surprise!! I live 307 miles and this place was definitely worth the drive !!!“

When we sat down, the server brought stuffed mushrooms, which served as a perfect start before the falafel appetizers. Our waitress taylor was incredible and the manager (so sorry but we never got his name because he was just being so nice to us) was incredible as well. “Nha Hang gets a lot of hype and it lives up! The pho tai is absolutely phenomenal. It is perfect, I wouldn't change a thing. “The Breakfast House was such a great addition to the neighborhood, and you can tell with how busy it gets on the weekends. I live right down the street on Dakin and brought my Mom here when she visited.

I got the Grilled Cheese Sourdough and it was fantastic. It was a take on a grilled cheese “breakfast style” with scrambled eggs and bacon with a side of honey mustard for dipping. My Mom got some fruit parfait and really enjoyed it.

Service and atmosphere is great. You can sit inside when it’s cold and they have outdoor seating when it’s nicer out.“
