“We are full-time RVers who, while traveling around the US, are in search of the best cheeseburger and have a rating system of The Best (only 1 rated), Very Good, Good, OK, and Not Impressed. While at our home base in Southern Illinois, we were in the Columbia, IL, area and Googled “hamburger restaurants.” We saw Washy’s Pub had good burger reviews, so decided to give them a try for lunch. Washy’s has a simple bar atmosphere with about a dozen tables. We ordered their Classic burger with me having American cheese and my wife pepperjack. We also requested lettuce, pickles, and sliced onions. The handmade patties were about 10 oz (good sized), nicely seasoned, cooked to order, charbroiled, and served on a nicely-toast fresh bun. I had their skinny-style battered fries and my wife had onion rings. The burgers came out hot and were super tasty due the meat seasoning. We’re not sure what seasoning they used, but it worked! My wife’s burger was just a tiny bit better than mine due the pepperjack they use. The fries and onion rings were among the best we’ve had as well. We rated the burgers (even without a special sauce), fries, and onion rings Very Good. The service was also top notch.“

“Uncle John's RRR Bar, or triple R, has a great atmosphere. It's normally a diverse crowd, ages are a pretty even mix between 21-50+. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Don't sleep on the smash burgers, they are amazing, and the kitchen is open late.“

“A cool little dive bar with pinball machines. On a Sunday night they seem to have some league whereby people play them all night so normal patrons can’t use them. It’s a pretty cool place though, and if you can find a night where you can play pinball or just listen to the jukebox, I’d definitely recommend it. Tiny chef is excellent also and they sell food at a window inside the bar.“

They also have a super cute patio and open-air garage area, giving patrons a variety of areas to hang, dance or socialize. They also host some really unique, fun and exciting events that Ive thoroughly enjoyed attending or vending with my business. This Bar is definitely a hidden GEM in St. Louis!“

“Over the past three years I have frequented this bar, and I have to say it’s one of the hidden gems of our city. Stan’s is a slice of south city and has cemented itself as an iconic establishment. No two nights are the same, but you feel at home when you walk through the door. Love this place. The staff are top shelf.“

“Amy was the bartender with a name tag that said, "favorite bar tender!" She was very cute, very friendly, and a awesome bar tender. I went here on Saturday January 16th for a celebration of life memorial service for my best friend. It's a very small place, very clean and nice located in a residential quaint neighborhood. The prices for drinks are very reasonable. I would recommend going here and will be going back.“

“This is a great spot for people who would like to be "low key". There is a pool table on the back end. Plenty of space to socialize and space out. A touch tune juke box and plenty of tvs to watch sports! The drink prices are great as well! Can't go wrong with that“

“Kt's used to be my go to bar at the end of a night of drinking to go dance and hear live music and now I find it as one of my Go to Spots any time of the day or night and any day of the week or weekend. Best bartenders. Elizabeth and Chris are the best! A good gal pal and myself had a little Birthday celebration there this past April and I was able to hang out with the Owner Angie whose by far one of the most down to Earth fun yet business savvy women I've ever met. She keeps making Kts a better spot and a reason to go to constantly. Highly recommend going too.“

“Probably the best tasting fried chicken in town, we have to stop by Fergie's every time we're in town. Their price point is still good, and you can order all dark or white meat for an extra price. The breading is very tasty and the meat is tender and moist.“

“I have always wanted to stop in this place. I drive by it all the time finally about three weeks ago me and a group of my friends stopped in and we had a really good time. I own a bar as well on South Broadway. This is a nice little getaway place for me. Haven’t been there in a couple weeks, but I’m definitely coming back.“

I came in early on a weekday afternoon and there was a good handful of locals there all having a great time, seemingly enjoying themselves fully. The bartender who I'm assuming was the owner at the time I was there was very attentive and even left me behind for a minute to check in her products as she was paying attention and seen someone taking their last swallow. That to me is the most important thing... don't leave me waiting with an empty drink if you absolutely can avoid letting that happen. So from everything I observed this corner style city bar would be a great place to make new friends and have some adult beverages!“
