“Ate here tonight and the food was wonderful. We had jerk turkey tips, jerk salmon and shrimp, yam, greens, cabbage, Mac and cheese and fried rice. Everything was tasty, hot, freshly made and spicy. The ladies were super friendly, helpful and provided great service. We will definitely be back to try other items. Ask about the specials that aren’t in the regular menu. Yum!“

“Fried chicken and mild sauce with fries is my go to meal, it always hits the spot! There are also various types of food here like the fish as well. They have a good assortment of cakes from local bakeries as well. I stop by this spot a lot but Sharks is pretty consistent with the quality and flavor around the Chicago area.It's that reliable place where I know I can find the flavors I crave, served with a side of warmth and familiarity. If you're a local or just passing through, I wholeheartedly recommend giving Sharks Fish and Chicken a try – a spot where great taste and a welcoming vibe come together in harmony.“

“I had the NY strip. I don't normally leave reviews. But this was my first time at Mr. Benny's, and I truly believe it might have been the best steak I've ever had. The flavor was outstanding, and it was cooked perfectly to my specification (medium rare) and the portion was more than generous. The cut was tender with substance. The baked potato was excellent, and the green beans were a wonderful flavor and perfect texture. Highly recommend.“

“Today was my first time there. The food is delicious my kids love it but I don’t feel I had the great service. First, we didn’t get the napkins and utensils on time but way after the food got there. A drink spilled on me (our fault) which made me realized there was no napkins provided, by the time we found the lady for napkins I was soaking wet. Then we were about to start eating and my children needed a fork, well no fork was provided. We ordered 3 seafood boils, no utensils for that were provided neither. My husband ordered an extra drink, never was it brought to us. I’m happy my kids enjoyed it, but we were not that pleased as we saw others being treated differently. Not sure if we will be returning.“

“Frankie's since 1988 is hands-down, the best restaurant in the southwest Chicago suburbs. My son and I went for my birthday and there was no place I would rather go. The decor is trendy yet elegant and I really enjoyed the music that was playing. Service was quick and friendly. The signature Frankie's old-fashioned was amazing! Although the lasagna is my absolute favorite, I like to try the chef specials whenever possible, especially the seasonal ones. We had the pumpkin lasagna and the butternut squash risotto with crumbled Italian sausage.... Both were amazing! Whether it's your 20th time back or your first time here, the staff and the owner will make you feel like Family. This is truly a gem in the south suburbs. If you're reading this review to see if you want to go to Frankie‘s, don't hesitate... Just make the reservation...You won't be disappointed.“

“My husband and I dined here for our anniversary. The owner was very welcoming and down to earth as well as the staff. The food was excellent! The owner also made an announcement that it was our anniversary and played the song It's Our Anniversary. I highly recommend this establishment!!! You will not be disappointed!“

“8 Piece Buffalo Wings and Fries.... FIRE!!! Nice staff, food only took 15 minutes, and came out piping hot, crispy, and delicious. The coleslaw was a nice balance to a great buffalo sauce. Large amount of food for the price. Next time I stop in the area, would probably order the exact same thing.“

“Tried the Oak Park location on a Wednesday night. It was FANTASTIC! I got a pound of Alaskan King crab legs, and while they didn’t come with crab crackers, we only had a little trouble breaking the meat out. Phenomenal crab legs. They came with perfectly seasoned red potatoes and corn on the cob. My partner ordered (fried) shrimp tacos and could not stop raving about them. The shrimp was very fresh. We also ordered fresh cut fries and they were outstanding, though they could use a bit more seasoning. But extra seasoning was brought upon request. The owner, Shawn, brought out the food, was attentive to our needs, and even struck up a friendly conversation as we left. Fantastic decor/theme, friendly staff and exceptional service! 10/10, and we will definitely be back. Thank you for a great dinner! Two dinners, since I had leftovers!“

My first experience was to celebrate my daughter's birthday in August, the next was a birthday celebration for my sister, and God willing, I will celebrate my birthday in May. But trust, I will not wait until my birthday to go, mainly because I don't live in Illinois, but because I frequent this state, Al Bahaar is on my list of stops & I encourage family and friends to join me! “Acclaimed renowned chef Fabio Viviani best known for his Italian and now California wineries (Fabio Viviani Wineries) and his 2008 appearance on the reality television competition series Top Chef where he was voted the "fan favorite" has lent his name and vision to a few new restaurants in the Southlands at the newly opened Wind Creek Chicago Southland Casino on 173rd & Halsted. \n\n“Shuck It” Oyster Bar is a reasonably priced Louisiana Cajun Style restaurant that offers “a curated selection of freshly shucked oysters served with flair, pan roast, live-action kettles, and classic gumbo, accompanied by libations.”\n\nFor starters I suggest a classic Caesar Salad —\nromaine hearts, anchovy, sourdough croutons, horseradish, and a delicious Caesar dressing. The Clam Chowder, New England or Manhattan though my preference is for, and this review is of, the classic New England chowder, was rich, with FRESH oysters clearly made from scratch in-house. The Gulf Oysters on the ½ Shell were similarly FRESH and delicious. Finally the “Prince Edward’s Mussels” are served in a variety of unique styles but again I prefer classic style dishes so I enjoyed the steamed in white wine, garlic and herbs.\n\nThe Gumbo is simply remarkable! Creole stew cooked with andouille sausage and okra. Served with steamed rice is common to the five styles: 1) Poarch Style - Shrimp, crab, lobster; 2) Shrimp; 3) Crab; 4) Lobster; and 5) Chicken varying in price from $30-$20. My version was clearly made to order—classic NOLA style gumbo with lobster as an add in—shrimp, crab, lobster, chicken and andouille sausage. \n\nFinally, you must “experience” the Seafood Étouffée -Cajun stew, shrimp, crab, and lobster served over soft moist white rice.“

“I gotta say I'm not from the area but I tried the lemon pepper and honey BBQ wings with lemon pepper on the fries and it was amazing. When I was done I literally went back a couple hours later before leaving the state to grab more lol. The lady at the counter was so kind and had me laughing so hard for coming back. I will definitely return when back in town.“

“Food and service were fantastic. We were thrilled to find this place open after 11PM. Our flight was late, and my coworker and I had to drive two hours before arriving at our hotel. Starving and desperate, we found this food joint about to close but they graciously let us eat inside, serving us the best food ever!

The staff didn't rush us or even hint at kicking us out like they do in NY or NJ. The food was absolutely delicious. I got the King Nachos, and my coworker got the fried catfish. Plus, two iced teas for a total of $36. A fair price for a meal that saved us from gnawing on the hotel’s pillows!

Now, the area is a bit sketchy. We, the only two people in business suits, definitely stood out like sore thumbs. Lol. After we finished, the staff politely closed up shop. Thanks again, folks, for the great service!

“Went in today and got a large order of catfish steaks. They were cut in half the long way to cut the meat down and fried hard as if there were meat on them. The mild sauce was in a sample cup and the price were higher! Lost a customer today! Never going back!“

“Haven't been here in quite a while, but thought I'd stop in and get a king jalapeno and bacon Philly steak sandwich with a blooming onion the food was great but I don't think I would get the bacon in the Philly cheese steak as it seemed a bit too salty for me. The service was quick and friendly even though it was very busy at around 4:00 p.m. when I stopped in. Would recommend this place as it has a large menu of different foods to order from.“

“This bar is a very nice GEM that has a great decor. The beers are ice cold and the drinks very refreshing. Taco Tuesdays are very tasty and the catfish dinner is Awesome. This is a very friendly bar with colorful characters. Watch the game from any seat or select a song from touch tunes and dance your cares away. Try you luck on the gaming machines or just have a couple of drinks with your buds.
