“This place is an unassuming gem. It was kind of out of the way of things, but it is worth a sit down experience. The restaurant itself is very nostalgic, there is a lot of seating and was pretty quiet on a Saturday afternoon. The employees were friendly and helpful, and the food was really great. I mean this in the best way possible, it was no frills cuisine. So often, restaurants try to re-invent the wheel and it isn't always necessary. The portions were plentiful, the prices were great, it was all fresh and hot and delicious. I am personally a fan of the choice of vegetable egg rolls not spring rolls and I was delighted that they had both. They were amazing!! I do not eat meat, but based upon everything else and the flavor profile I am certain a meat dish would be great too. I definitely would visit again!“

“I actually had delivery and it was a feast! The best veggie lo mein & spring rolls I've had since 2018. Hong Kong Star in Acworth Ga. is well recognized for their cuisine and yours is spot on, as well. The veggie lo mein (minus brocolli~ty 🙂) and your springs rolls are delicious. Pagoda is our go-to place in Lockport, though we don't get to order from you as often as we would like. The food was delicious last night; we particularly enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken. I had asked for extra pineapple in the sauce and was very happy that your team was able to make that happen.

“My son and his wife live in downtown Plainfield and started going to Great Wall and told us they liked the food better than the restaurant that we frequented for 20+ years on the south side of Plainfield. Last night, my wife and I decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. I had the Beef with Garlic Sauce and Onions. It was packed with beef and I asked for it to be extra-spicy and they delivered on the heat. The garlic sauce was a lot like the one I remember as a kid from a restaurant we went to a lot in Chinatown. My wife had Pork and Pan Fried noodles and it was equally delicious. We opted for large servings and got dinner last night and lunch today out of it so basically two meals out of each portion. The staff was cordial and gracious. We are both looking forward to trying more of the menu items. I highly recommend you give them a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed.“

“BEST CHINESE FOOD AROUND! me and my family have been getting food from here for years and i’ve even gotten my friends in the surrounding areas to come here for their food. “After Golden Chopsticks closed down, I found this place and it is honestly just as good, if not better, than Golden Chopsticks!

Parking: Parking can be an issue depending on time of day. Parking spots are always available, but sometimes you need to park in front of a store a few doors down.“

“Golden Dragon is quick, affordable option. Every time I call in an order there they are always polite and answer any questions I have about the entrée or item. The turnaround from when you place your order to pickup is quick, generally 15-30 mins. The food is always fresh, hot and ready to go. The entrees and soups are fine, but I wasn't real impressed with alot of the appetizers (especially the egg rolls). My favorite item is the Moo Goo Gai Pan combo platter.“
