“WOW WOW WOW !!! AMAZING cookies and so beautiful too“

“As a self-proclaimed boba connoisseur and lover of local businesses, I was hoping to add another to my growing list of affordable, quality, and quaint boba joints.

Instead, I opted to try their small selection of quality ice creams. Only 6 flavours are available, but it's extremely customisable and the staff is very accommodating.

I was absolutely blown away by the vanilla ice cream. The taste is subtle and not overpowering, but it's a fresh kind of vanilla I've never had and is sure to please all vanilla lovers. The texture of the ice cream was perfect - it didn't melt too fast, not too soft or frozen, and it was creamy but not overwhelmingly creamy. Simply put, you NEED to try it!

The individual who accommodated me was phenomenal! I unfortunately was unable to ask his name, but he took great care of my vanilla ice cream with oreos in a cake cone. Furthermore, I was able to learn more about the business and how involved they are in the community, which is always a plus.

Although I didn't try their boba, I have no doubt it's as quality as their ice cream. Overall, I love the business and am excited to come back with friends and family!

Parking: The parking is a bit small as the store itself is in downtown Deerfield and located along a busy main road (Rt43/Waukegan Rd). I can imagine during more busy hours, it'd be difficult to find good parking as, other than the small parking lot in the back, you may have to walk to the location.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly! The menu is extremely customisable, especially if you have any dietary allergies.“

“SMOOTH FLAVORED YOGURT!Healthy alternative to sugary treats :)We were in the mall and happened to stumble upon this place. It’s a nice spot for hangouts. Great flavors and toppings. The gentleman at the front was very polite and friendly. He walked me through the steps for purchasing a cup. My son enjoyed the mango and strawberry yogurt topped with popping bobas.“

“Staff is always friendly and answer any of your questions. The popsicles come in even more flavors than the already vast ice cream choices. Just beware that some of the popsicles taste icy or have weak flavor. The ones that have cream/milk inside are much better.“

“Please do consider booking Sweet Home Gelato for your wedding! Each flavor offered is incredibly tasty. The pricing is extremely fair for catering and much more affordable compared to other vendors. My wedding was scheduled for August 8,2020. But due to Covid-19, we unfortunately had to cancel. Janice was extremely compassionate, understanding and flexible during the whole process. Sweet Home Gelato was the most compassionate and flexible vendor. It is not easy to cancel a wedding, unfortunately many vendors were not as accommodating. Janice immediately offered a refund, date change or gift card for the deposit. Sweet Home Gelato was under no circumstance required to issue a refund. Please do consider supporting this small business that is run by good people!“

Kid-friendliness: Nowhere to eat inside. But the flavors are always exciting for the kids. Especially the extras like shark gummies.“

“My husband walked by Graeter’s with our daschund Teddy today. One of the employees was handing out super cute Graeter Icecream dog leashes and a cup of dog icecream. What a treat! We already loved Graeter’s icecream and the delicious flavors, but now Teddy is a huge fan too! Thank you!“

“Really good ice cream at fairly low prices. Never tried the food, only ice cream, but everything I've gotten so far has been really good! Nice staff, and fun options for exclusive flavors that change every month!

Parking: This DQ is in a crowded plaza, so parking can be tough to find

“This store has amazing matcha! My favorite drink is the Matcha Ichigo Latte (matcha strawberry). It's never very crowded so the turnaround is quick. They do have milk alternatives, oatmilk and soy milk, if you ask since it's not listed on the menu.“

“My favorite DQ! My son is currently obsessed with DQ and he likes this area because the seating is right next to the road. The staff has always been great, too!My cup of sprinkles fell while leaving and they replaced my cup for free! ?Sometimes tricky to get in/out of the lot, but otherwise love it!“

“I love the new cookie releases every week. It's fun to check the app weekly to see if they have any flavors I would want to try. I'm finally rating crumble 4 stars because crumble has come out with mini versions of their cookies weekly too. The app is amazing as well because you can accru points for freebies. Sometimes, the cookies can be to raw for my taste at this location or there not enough sauces or toppings, but it just depends on the flavor and batch.“

“They have the best ice cream! So good I normally only eat 1 scoop but when I go here I get 2 or 3 because they're so good. The employees are so nice, especially the teenage girls. The girl with blond highlights and the girl with dark hair are so sweet! On vacation I went to a gelato place, thier gelato was FULL OF SUGAR all I tasted was sugar but here I actually taste the flavor. The flavors are so good. I 100% recommend the banana and strawberry .I would have given this place six stars but it only goes up to 5.“

“This is a classic DQ that serves the community in a classic fashion. Everyone is outside enjoying their ice cream. It is close to a busy road unfortunately and there isn't much parking. It's best to walk and enjoy as you take a stroll or meet up with your friends.

“I have now tried the custard pie with caramel sauce. It could be served in any fine dining restaurant with pride. The chocolate she uses for dipping strawberries is very high quality. Not plastic tasting at all.“

“Food was very good. I ended up with chilaquiles (with chicken breast) and my friend got the pupusas and dobladas. Really solid, and I appreciate the subtle differences in flavors between the Guatamalan dishes and standard Mexican fare. However, only 4/5 because ordering (in English) was difficult. I tried to get grilled skirt steak and a green chicken enchilada (as a single item, listed that way on the menu) but what was originally brought out was 3 green chicken enchiladas. I explained the issue and thought it was clear but ended up getting brought the chilaquiles. My friend got his pupusas but the dobladas was not brought and had to be ordered again. The food was delicious and I'm not a picky eater so this wasn't a huge deal, but others that need to order a specific thing, in English, may have trouble. I will be back though, and I will brush up on my Spanish.“

“I have ordered candy for Christmas gifts from Sweets for the last 8 years. They've always gotten the order correct & the staff is very accommodating. The people that I send the candy to look forward to receiving the candy every year. Sweet's toffee is out of this world good. Their Ladybugs put Pixies to shame. Their salted caramels are just perfect. I tell all my friends how good their candy is. I don't mind driveing an hour to get there. It's that good!

He was so proud to have designed a donut (which was actually just the cookies and cream option from the menu) but he watched them make it and decorate it and then showed it to everyone he passed. He said they were the BEST donuts he’s ever had! I had the cold brew with sweet cream which was solid.“
