“I had the pleasure of dining at NEW SEOUL Korean Charcoal B.B.Q., and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.

“First, the food is DELICIOUS! They have a lot more flavors of chicken available than some other K.F.C. restaurants. The tteokbokki offers more flavors & add in’s as well. You can tell the company really cares about their food quality and customer satisfaction-eg they have steam vents built into the containers and the keep your to-go order propped slightly open until you pick up your order all so that your chicken remains crispy, rather than getting soggy waiting in a closed container! “This is my new barbecue go-to in Niles. I live close to here, and it is so easy to just come over and have a drink. They host some events, including live music and a book fair. It is a great place to have a party, and just plain have fun. I personally recommend the brisket. The fries here are something to crave. It is in kind of an industrial area. But the brewery has an industrial vibe. I totally recommend this place for anyone looking for a bar/bbq kind of place.“

“My friend and I stopped in at Firewater BBQ in Elmhurst on Thursday Dec. 1st for the "Granny's Lunch Box Special" which is available daily from 11AM-2PM. This was my second visit and my friend's first at Firewater. We both ordered the Angus beef brisket sandwich with a side of 3 cheese Mac & Cheese and a soda. The brisket (smoked for 22 hrs) is amazingly tender and flavorful. It was piled high on a toasted brioche bun and is served with your choice of sweet or spicy BBQ sauce or both if you like. The Mac & Cheese is sooo silky-smooth and creamy and compliments the brisket quite well. There are complimentary pickled jalapeños and sweet & spicy pickles available as well. My friend was so impressed by this amazing brisket that he placed another exact order to go to bring home. The cashier who also took our order was very friendly and polite. We told one of the chefs, Shawn, (pictured) that we really enjoyed the brisket and complimented his skills. My friend and I will both be returning to Firewater BBQ and we'll definitely be letting our family and friends know about this wonderful BBQ spot.“

“I had not been to Carson's in many years as I was not in the area. Happily, my return trip was superb— just as amazing as I remembered it. How many times are we disappointed when we go back to an old favorite after 10 or 20 years? The answer is more frequently than not. “An excellent Chinese BBQ place run by a very friendly and knowledgeable couple. They really know the art of BBQ and everything is cooked and prepared to perfection. The BBQ chef there had been around for at least a decade back from before the current owners took over the shop.

The prices are very reasonable and the taste authentic. The best part is buying BBQ from here saves me the time and hassle of going to Chinatown.“

“I had the pleasure of trying the burger, sausage, broccoli salad, fries, banana pudding, Mac and queso, and sticky pork belly—and let me tell you, every single bite was an absolute delight.

The sticky pork belly was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the sausage link was perfectly juicy and bursting with flavor. The fries were golden, crispy, and even better when paired with the tangy Texas Red and Carolina Gold sauces.

The burger and the sausage link, though, were the (tied) stars of the show. Both choices are simple and very reasonably priced. The burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever tasted. Each bite was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and incredibly satisfying. The sausage link was made with a perfectly balanced blend of ingredients that made it impossible to put down.

The Mac and queso was a standout as well—completely unique and absolutely next-level. It’s not your traditional mac n’ cheese; it’s a bold, creamy creation that left me wanting more. The broccoli salad was a refreshing surprise, with a perfectly balanced tanginess and flavor that was, quite literally, DILL-icious!

I finished off the meal with their banana pudding, which was the perfect way to end such a feast. Light, airy, and just sweet enough, it was like a cloud of dessert heaven.

On top of all the incredible food, the service was quick, warm, and friendly. I can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu—this place is a total gem!“

I called them and asked if they could have it done earlier than the time slot I picked…they weren’t able because of their load. 10 minutes after I called, they called and told me they had me! “Food and drinks are always delicious; Steve recognized me on my fifth visit, introduced himself and provided some complimentary shots to me and my partner. We have ordered Corn Paloma’s, Mole Pisco Sour and Aphrodite multiple times and always hits the spot. For constructive improvement, it can be slow to order as there’s only one person taking orders. Maybe one order only kiosk or one more person could make it more efficient as folks are waiting in line for 10 minutes. I also appreciate the family atmosphere, but there will be times screaming children are right in the middle of where patrons are dining and relaxing. I would recommend a specified area for the kids a bit further away from the main patrons but I understand the constraints of the space (might make more sense to have the kids play area near the food truck). I look forward to continued sunny days and nice drinks at Tribute!“

“Took my daughter's at a 7p on a Friday. Made reservation ahead of time. Small wait time. No problem. We sat, ordered, food came fast. The owners mother was there and cooked our entire meal for us. Being first time at korean bbq we didn't know much. Such a joy for her to show us how to eat with motions not an English speaker. Lovely experience. My new favorite place. Ordered Berkshire pork belly 10/10. Short rib9/10 bulgogi 10/10. Highly recommend“

“My fiancé and I have been a gyro war. I’m a Skokie Dengeos girl and he’s a diehard Squabs fan. While it’s hard to compete with childhood memories after trying Squabs I totally get it. The gyro was perfectly cooked, the tzatziki was beautiful, the fries were delicious. The absolute standout was the customer service. I was having such a bad day. I confused the gyro plate with the gyro dinner and they took such good care of me. I had cried the whole ride over and left with the biggest smile and a plate of leftovers. 10/10 I will be coming back every chance I get.“

“They opened really nice restaurants in neighborhood since its really hard to find all u can eat good quality bbq around Schaumburg, Arlington heights, Elk Grove Village etc.
You don't get to grill the meat, they will take ur order and grill it in the back and bring it on the table which I found surprisingly cool and calm. There is no smoke or urge to overcook the meat etc. Usually its little messy when u get to grill the meat. Just found out today its really actually great idea if mear served grilled like theirs.
You will calmly be served with delicious tender good quality steak in front of u already cooked professionally. The side dish and kimchi stew was top notch. They will serve you side dishes with everything you want to enjoy with the meat. Grilled onion, garlic,jalapeno, side zucchini, carrot mushroom even the sauce and salt was so good! 0 complains! Cannot get enough of kimchi stew. My husband said even their water tested better lol . We only paid around $70-$80 but it was all worth it. Definitely will come back!! It was a little dry as if it was kept in the heating box for a while or just overcooked a bit. The sides were not memorable. I’d go back again and just skip the sides. The Mexican food looked good.“
