“I was in the neighborhood, so I decided to try this place for their lunch special. It comes with shrimp fried rice, combination egg roll, and a few options for a main dish. I ordered the Mongolian beef. It was tasty, tender, and a bit spicy. The food was fresh and delicious. However, I do wish they had shrimp egg rolls as I’m not a fan of the combination egg rolls. Nonetheless, I enjoyed everything for just under $10. I will definitely go again when in this area.“

“I am so glad they were able to reopen. Due to the passing of the previous owner last year, they closed their doors. My husband and I had just discovered them and was so excited to find a Chinese restaurant we truly enjoy. The very next day January 1st 2024, they announced their closure ( we get Chinese New Years Eve and we got it from here). THANK YOU for reopening and serving the surrounding community....I'm from Indiana. We love your food!“

“Great little spot for take out or quick dine in and relax so far my meals have been delicious. The sweet and sour chicken and red sauce is good. The tofu with mixed vegetables is absolutely delicious. The spring rolls are good and so is the egg rolls. The plain fried rice is ok if I wasn't cheap and added meat id be more happy but delicious food and we are back for second round now will update later.

“I don't want to lie. Their food was the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. The egg Foo Young was slightly spoiled bean sprouts were not fluid fresh more like celery sitting out month. Yuck. Who told them they can cook. Ooh yea and you can forget about coming back cause I got that secret nobody says on Chinese channels about the five spices. “They have very good Chinese food compared to some we have eaten at. We had broccoli chicken with chicken fried rice and egg drop soup. It was very goodFYI: If you like your food very spicy, they will honor your request. We like ours real spicy, so I ask for it to be 3 times Xtra spicy for the main course and even the fried rice, and they will do they for you. We've gone to many Chinese restaurants throughout Chicago, and we like them. We've gone neck because it's close to where we live.

Parking: It's next to Pizza Hut. The parking lot is small, but there is extra parking by the Pizza Hut.“

The price.... super expensive, $20.99 each adult and I paid 10 dollars each for my 3 and 4 year old girls. I think with how expensive it is they can remodel the bathrooms and keep an employee cleaning the bathrooms at least every hour during the restaurant's peak hours. “okay I am looking at the other reviews and the only thing that is a lie is large portions! there is no large portion! this is probably the smallest lunch special that cost close to $15 that I've ever had at any Chinese restaurant ever. you can go to a buffet and get all you can eat for $15. definitely a sample plate or portion for a child. I ordered to go and looked inside the container and was like WOW! NO I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Walking in, you're welcomed by two doors. The outer door slams, leaving you with a jolt of fright and embarrassment. The inner door opens you to what can be described as a small ma and pop shop with two visible tables and 4 seats each; making this a carryout spot but, leaving you with a seat or two if you're on lunch and looking to rest for a bit while eating. I'm pretty sure this was the first time I've eaten food from this restaurant but I am certain, after tonight, it won't be the last.

When it comes to eating Chinese cuisine, I usually have to prepare myself for sodium overload. That wasn't the case here. Every dish prepared for us was cooked perfectly. I could actually taste the other flavors they cooked into their food aside from salt which I've come to associate with most food from Chinese restaurants I've eaten at. The Orange Chicken was also really really good but, diabetics beware, it is extremely sweet; so make sure you have that insulin pen ready for after your meal. I should also mention that their food portions are very generous.

One other thing of note: I scheduled my food to be ready 30 minutes before my arrival. I showed up 5 minutes early and they were still cooking my order. The owner explained to me that they made sure to cook the food as close to the time of arrival as possible to make sure it's still hot by the time I got home with it; given that I show up on time. Most places just cook and let it sit until you show up so I think that was really cool of them.

All in all, I really enjoyed their food and if you're looking for a small ma and pop place that values good and fresh food, you've hit the nail on the head here.“

“chicken fried rice had no flavor, all i tasted was eggs and bean sprout. Their crab ragoons are okay but the sauce they give you with it is like jelly its super thick likes it syrup or something. They're very fast at serving you your food, but they lack flavor and are cutting corners with their store bought sauce. If i wanted to eat over priced ragoons i couldve made them myself. The workers are great but im not crazy over the food. Its edible that's about it

“I order from this spot all the time for delivery. Ordering over the phone is easy and quick, delivery is even quicker. I'm a big fan of the lunch specials and recently tried the pepper steak and shrimp in lobster sauce. This is a great easy takeout option with really good portions. Also, their smoothies are really fresh.“

“I was a restaurant kid, where my dad owned an American Chinese restaurant while we grew up. I helped out as a kid since it was our family restaurant and l love eating American Chinese food. It has a special place in my heart. We moved away from Chinatown, so after moving south, I needed to find a new place for my cravings, and this place is really good and hits the spot. Shrimp fried rice, beef and broccoli, orange chicken, and shrimp egg foo young were excellent. Egg rolls were okay. Definitely will be coming back.“

“kams is really a small place with a big reputation. i drive 50 mins every few days to get their combination lo mein noodles. panda express or other chinese restaurants cannot compare to them.
