They serve some of the most delicious tacos I’ve ever had. I’ve tried every single one, and they never disappoint. The shrimp tacos are my personal favorite — packed with flavor — but the tripe, salmon, and steak tacos are also incredibly tasty.

Their nachos are great as well, loaded and satisfying. And you can’t leave without getting one of their horchata drinks… so refreshing and the perfect complement to the meal.

“It’s always an amazing experience when I come this establishment. Every time I go I try a new plate my new favorite is their enchiladas I haven’t been anywhere on the east side with enchiladas that taste like that! My kids enjoyed the outside dining and on rainy days like today even though the inside is small it was spacious. Definitely worth visiting this restaurant they have my family as customers for as long as they are open.“

I called my order in and I recommend that others do the same, don't use ubereats to place your order for pickup their prices are higher. Call it in! My food was fresh and hot when I got there. I only ate one of my quesabirrias, it was packed with meat. The beans and rice are average, just add a little bit of sauce for more flavor. Overall, everything was fine!“

This restaurant is a total hidden gem. It’s easy to see why the locals flock here—the food is consistently delicious and the service is incredibly welcoming. The lady at the front is exceptionally friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home the moment you walk in. I tried the steak tostada, which was excellent, and both the al pastor and steak tacos were top-notch. If you’re in the area, you definitely have to check this place out. The food comes out very fast, more of a take out spot and eat in the parking lot or take to go, very limited space inside.“

“I’ve been coming to this restaurant since I was a kid. It’s been a neighborhood landmark on 63rd street for many years. A true hidden gem in Chicago. I recommend the chilaquiles verdes with rice and beans and the quesadillas. Great food, good service.“
