“One of my favorite places to eat or grab a drink! The staff is friendly and easy to talk to.
We also hired the catering team to do food for our wedding and they went above and beyond to make our day extra special. Food was great, service was impeccable, and very fair priced! Will definitely keep recommending them to anyone looking for food, drinks, or catering!

“Just stopped for a casual beer, got insulted by 3 older gentlemen who say they are there every day. One says he is offended by a shirt some one is wearing at the bar. He wanted them to take it off. I informed him it is freedom of speech, We are in a bar. The shirt had the F- word on it. It got so bad that my wife was told she has no brain between her ears. My wife is a veteran of 2 different branches of the military. These guys were tyrants.I would stay away from this bar!“

“Our front desk clerk at the Hotel Julien recommended this place upon our evening arrival in Dubuque. She said it was walking distance rom the hotel, had good burgers, and was filled with taxidermy. We couldn't resist that description--quirky is right up our alley. And we weren't disappointed.\n\nIt was really close to the hotel, the burgers were amazing (and inexpensive), but that taxidermy was off the charts! Animal heads lined the walls on both sides of the bar, and while that normally creeps me out, it seemed to work in this 77-year-old bar. Apparently the former owner (the actual "Paul" of Paul's Tavern) was a big game hunter on the side, and bagged these creatures in the 1950s and 60s.\n\nI'd definitely return to once again join this very eclectic crowd.“

“Small bar located inside of a power sports store. They have really good lunch specials & breakfast every Sunday. They are PACKED for breakfast, so get there early to get faster service! The portion sizes are very big and you always get to take home left overs! The prices also cannot be beat, but make sure to bring cash. They do not accept any cards.“

“My mom and I had a really awkward time at a nearby establishment where we were completely ignored by three separate bartenders (the place was not busy at all). Turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we left and stopped in here instead and had a great drink in a fun atmosphere served by a super friendly bartender. She was so kind and took some extra time to explain a little bit about some of their different types of whiskey. Will definitely come back!“

Ended up with a pulled pork and pickle sandwich, first pic with fries....then they remade it but not sure about the pesto, unless Q pesto is white idk, it was ok but nothing to write home about. The waitress did comp my meal, but still not sure about the chicken pesto, 2nd set of pics.“

“The Hub stands alone as Dubuques only establishment to offer triple bubble every week. Yup buy 1 and you get 3 anything behind the bar. Dollar tacos every Wednesday and every other night after 9. The boast the areas best night club beat master hands down. And with plenty of grade A bartenders to go around you'll never wait too long even on those nights the line is to the end of the block and their at 1 in 1 out. And always well staffed with capable door people and responsible bouncers. Anyone going out in Dubuque needs to hit up the Hub fun for all drinking ages and the best part is always having you there! Great Job Team Hub!!!!“

“Being the number one restaurant in all of Dubuque carries some weight, however only part of our meal was exceptional or at that level. The butter nut squash. With pear pizza. was extremely interesting and tasty the spinach Caesar salad extremely good the pepper steak soup depth with flavor and nicely done however, the Mediterranean pasta is extremely lacking flavor, taste, etc. this is why the rating is lower than we expected. The entree did not meet a level of number one. The white staff was extremely friendly, but kept forgetting to replace silverware. Hence a number one rating just cannot be excepted.“

It had been a little while since our last visit to Mason Dixon Saloon, and after this meal, I need to make sure my next trip back happens a lot sooner! Everything from the starters to the main course was simply outstanding.
If you are looking for the perfect way to kick off your meal, do yourself a favor and order the Dixon Dice, Cheese Curds, and the Portobello mushrooms. They make for an incredible appetizer lineup that sets the stage for the rest of the night.
But the real star of the show is the Sunday night ribs—they absolutely do not disappoint! A quick pro-tip: get there early! These are incredibly popular and have a tendency to sell out fast. What I love most is how the ribs are prepared. They don't come drowning in barbecue sauce; instead, they are seasoned to absolute perfection, letting the flavor of the meat really shine. If you are a sauce lover, you can request their BBQ sauce on the side. We heard it is homemade, and it is indeed really good!
Even if you aren't interested in ribs, they offer a full menu of other fantastic items to choose from. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything you order off the menu here.
Highly recommend Mason Dixon Saloon for a top-tier dinner. We will definitely be back sooner rather than later!“

“I was looking for a place to easily accommodate my group of 14 for lunch on a Saturday. With short notice they got us set up in the back room, Melissa delivered perfect service, all 14 meals came out at once, all the food was excellent and the price was very reasonable. I've driven past this place a thousand times and never gave it a thought. Now I will definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal and friendly staff. Thank you Rhody's. “Have eaten at the Yardarm Riverfront restaurant 3-4 times with my wife, son and his wife when we visit him in Dubuque. All of our meals have been great! Love the cheese curds, their fries, burgers and wraps. Like the outdoor seating next to the boat launching area and the Mississippi River. Very relaxing. Good service.“

“We came here on a Saturday night. It was moderately busy. You could tell the Casino was focused on cleanliness/safety with staff wearing masks, wiping dice between players, spacing at machines/tables and availability of masks as you enter. Players had the option to wear masks or not (we kept ours on and would prefer them to be required). We drove from Wisconsin to play table games (craps, Texas hold’em and blackjack) since those games are not yet reopened in WI. The dealers were friendly and we really enjoyed our visit.“

“What a great little place very nice people. They make you feel like your welcome no awkwardness they have gambling machines and they have the old school jukebox,, I bet she wouldn't care if you played music on or phone next to you ,,just be polite and ask. I have been there for their birthday parties a little buffets with karaoke it was a blast and there is a pool table ..if you don't like 2 many people then this is your place ..“
