“We stayed at the one in Evanston this past weekend in the Home Alone Room! It was truly one for the memory books!“

“Great, warm interior. Semi-circular tufted seat banquets and wall tables. Ask for server Ned B. Wine and ales very good. An order of Burrata came w toasted rolls, roasted tomato and pesto. Very good. Fried Calamari was nicely cooked and had a side of ginger dipping sauce, also good.Surprised at the 15% meals tax. I’m from out of state.“

“We visited this amazing establishment last night and ordered the filet and the Manhattan strip for our entrées with a side of the mushrooms, and it was possibly one of the best steaks we had had. Our server and Jesse was wonderful, and when he wasn’t available home, there was another manager who came and brought items out, so there was no delay in service while he was attending another customer and socialized at the table. We dined outside on the patio underneath the heat lamp and lights. The Barn was the perfect atmosphere for our relaxing evening together. We were very pleased with all that we ordered as well as the service. We would highly recommend the Barn restaurant to others.“

“We love Prairie Moon, especially the family burger box for four. The burgers are made to order and the portions are extremely generous. The burgers (including a vegetarian and chicken option) also come with your choice of fries (garlic or regular) which are both fantastic. To top it off, the meals are served with a side of coleslaw and a huge salad portioned for 4 (but big enough for 6 it seems). Because the portions are so generous, I now have salad leftover for my lunch today!“

“The good is always wonderful. I love their burgers, and whoever I go with, they order and enjoy a pizza. Unfortunately, the acoustics are poor; it's hard to hear dinner companions or the staff. And to make the matters worse, while I love kids, there are always kids screaming. I wish they would seat people with kids separately from adults without kids. I also wish the parents would teach - restaurant behavior. Kids scream, while their parents don't say a word. Well, I guess the food is worth it. Yum yum!“

“I know I have no business in this 97° heat in Evanston. (staying hydrated free) I had to take care of some personal business, and while I was here, I decided to have dinner because I was not cooking tonight. I’m having Chillis SmokeHouse Combos Jalapeno cheddar smoked sausage, brisket quesadillas, chicken crispers, corn on the cob, french fries, garlic bread, and dessert; Cheesecake served with strawberry puree...Excellent Eats! Everyone was friendly and on point with serving the meal. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟“
