“I absolutely love this place. I’ve had 2 other Cantonese restaurants I can say I’ve enjoyed and honestly Hunan Star is by far my favorite now. Pan fried noodles, veggie fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, Mongolian beef. All amazing. Do yourself a favor and grab this when you are in Evanston.“

“Went here just a week ago. Felt like having lunch in an updated rainforest cafe, the plants and the bright wood furniture gave it a nice lush, summery atmosphere. Built my own bowl and was very impressed with both the freshness and taste. Their marinated cucumber side dish is delicious and perfectly spicy too.“
“I love wild fork so much, everything is so fresh and delicious! I wish they had chicken lizards“

“Def a take out spot more than it is dine in but man that food was good and relatively well priced. I really enjoyed the philli cheese steak and the fries. The baconator smash burger tasted great but i wish it had more burger patty in it. It just felt like a lot more bread than meat, but that said, it was very tasty.“

“I use to eat at the Reza's downtown many years ago, it was my favorite restaurant in the city before it closed down. I didn't think they had a location that was open (the one in uptown closed down too) and when it popped up as a nearby option when I was recently in Evanston, I had to go. Unfortunately, they were closed for a private party but they still had the to-go option available so I ordered the combo #2, filet and lamb with dill rice. Even to-go, it was everything I remember from before. I definitely will be back more often and have added this place to my list of restaurants to take people who want to eat various ethnic foods.“

“The best sushi spot in Evanston. They flew in a 200 lb tuna from Japan.“
