“I’m so sorry i forget our servers name but she was so sweet and attentive and you could tell she really cares about the restaurant. We got the carnitas skillet and the chile rellano omelette and both were some of the best breakfasts I’ve had in the city. The carnitas were perfect and the omelette was fluffy and the sauce with the omelette was my FAV. when we left my partner said “this is our new breakfast spot” and I can’t wait to try lunch!“

“I was a steady customer but will not be returning to this establishment again. Today I asked to sit in a booth and James, the owner said "We're too busy to sit one person in a "big" booth. (I was the only one waiting for a table.) So the waitress wanted me to sit at a table. The "big" booth seats 4. The table they wanted me to sit at also seats 4. The only difference is the booth doesn't hurt my back like the hard chairs do. I'm dying of cancer, which James is aware of, I have enough pain I don't need any more by sitting on hard chairs. Well he won't have to worry about being so "busy" to let someone have some comfort he's got one less patron. I'm done with this place.“

“Food is all homemade ... chilliques are so good with red sauce To die for... The burgers are HUGe.... so delicious.... the fries are like no others and I personally never order fries. So they have to be good.... I did substitute the salad for the fries and was blown away how tasty it was... I mean I'm talking salad right!! “I tried this place on a Thursday morning and it was fairly busy for a weekday. Wanted to try one of the skillets so opted for the pulled pork, yuca and eggs along with a ginger latte. Excellent food! The atmosphere is very friendly as 3 tables adjacent all struck up conversations together and everyone stayed an hour talking after we had all finished eating. What a pleasant neighborhood find.“

You might not even notice City Bear Cafe driving by, but if you are looking for a delicious meal in a down to earth, comfortable environment, check it out! The homemade salsa and breakfast potatoes are excellent. I had the breakfast burrito and loved it. My son had the nutella waffle, which had tons of fruit and whipped cream. Everything was great. “This diner was small but nice. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. There was no wait when we arrived about 12pm on a Saturday. Food was delicious I wanted to order everything on the menu. The food didn’t take long to come out maybe 20mins. The atmosphere is nice my only reason for 3 stars was it was a little crammed and cluttered and the bathroom was in the back with the freezer and it was a line. But I would definitely return“

“I found this diner on Google maps for me and my wife to try while in the area. The staff is friendly and the service was great. My wife and I had brunch. She had the bistek skillet & my wife said it was excellent afterwards and I had a steak burrito with hash browns on the side. I took a steak burrito to go for dinner because it was excellent! Afterwards the owner came out to greet us and asked how was everything. It is a family owned business and a great atmosphere. Overall I give this place AAA+ Will be back when in the area.“

The food is fantastic and I very much enjoy everything from the Bacon Temptation Omelette to the Spicy Poblano Omelette to the Crispy Chicken Sandwich to the Cowboy Burger. All of the food is fabulous and very well prepared, the variety is wonderful, and the coffee is always fresh. And above all, Ivan and the waitstaff provide customer service that's 'above and beyond' in every way. They are accommodating with large groups, service is great, and best part is the ability to order a wonderful, filling gluten free breakfast! “We have dined at First Watch in Florida and were thrilled to find that they opened a location in our neighborhood! There was a wait for tables when we arrived so we sat at the bar for brunch. Our server was so friendly and attentive. My husband had Carna Asada Queso Hash and I had the Million Dollar breakfast sandwich with egg, gouda, sausage, bacon and hot honey on a toasted English muffin. So delicious!!! They habe the most flavorful Bloody Mary's as well. The portions are huge by the way! By the time we left there was an even bigger wait for tables. So glad we have First Watch close by to enhance our brunch options! Worth the wait and every penny spent! We'll be back soon!“
