“Yesterday, January 14th 2022, I was a customer at the Scooters in Glen Carbon, IL. When I drove up to cash out I noticed that the young women who was waiting on me had her mandated face mask pulled down under both her nose and mouth. To observe this was bothersome to me. I was a customer at around 2:30 p.m.“

“My husband and I ate breakfast at Meme’s Coffee Shop this morning. My caramel macchiato was amazing and my husband truly enjoyed his specialty drink “warm sweater”? I had the Drama Queen - Avocado Toast and he got the Bagel Breakfast Sandwich. They were both great! The owners are friendly, the atmosphere inviting and the experience definitely worthwhile. Food is also great from the specials that are offered on occasion to the everyday menu, you can always fine something to satisfy your needs/wants. Rachel and Jonas are some of the best people I have met, and I will forever be a customer!“

“Employees are very friendly and patient! Also, we have went twice now and received amazing gluten free bakery items. My 6 year has celiac disease and this absolutely makes her so happy. They also have items marked gluten free in the cooler and the menu as well. Employees are also knowledgeable about it. I couldn’t recommend them enough and want to thank them for being inclusive with the gluten free options! ❤️“

“I love this place and have not had one bad thing. I used to drive up to Starbucks, but not anymore. My go-to from Starbucks is the white chocolate mocha, but Steel City’s white chocolate latte blows it out of the water. I also love the breakfast burrito and could eat it every morning. We are very fortunate to have such an establishment in our community.“

“First time in with my daughter and granddaughter and not only were they very patient and friendly with us, but they gave special attention to my grand baby. The girl working the front is absolutely amazing. She gave her a pad of paper and something to write with and let her put her drawing on the wall. Thank you for being so sweet and making her feel special!“

“First of all I love Starbucks! But for the last 2 days I've went to the Fairview Heights location to get my same drink. The caramel ribbon crunch frappuccino, and for 2 days straight I've asked for light caramel drizzle because it's too sweet and extra crunch. It even says it on the label stuck to my drink, but yet it's covered in caramel and there's no extra crunch. And I know sometimes we become complacent because we're in a hurry we're making the same drink every day multiple times, but I usually have to get a spoon and scrape it out. I will even pay more next time I go, just to get what I ask for...“

“Staff is always polite and competent, even during the everyday lunchtime rush. Very few times have I been disappointed by this location. Only complaint is that they don't have knives. The grilled cheese is very big, so I ask for it to be cut in half. But that's just me. I just find it amusing that a chain restaurant does not provide its employees knives. Unless the staff does have knives, and they are simply playing a practical joke on me. So be it: 4 stars.“

“On my first visit I bought bingsu, bubble tea and taiyaki. Everything was great: taste, texture and customer service. Definitely worth finding something to celebrate each month (or week) with bingsu and bubble tea!“

“I don't know what is going on orders.are often wrong lately. since the new hires I order for a client simple vanilla latte. they dont come.e with whip cream and they put it on. Mostly milk not sure where we the coffee is. we also add cinnamon docle sprinkles cost extra. sometimes it's there or they put something else that reads CF. usually they are on game but sad because we may have to change locations.“

“I always use the drive though and it usually moves at a faster than normal Starbucks pace unless some J.O in front of you orders some complicated bs drink. Staff is friendly but not a fan of how the drive through is designed. Idiots coming from one entrance try to cut someone who is using the drive threw off because of a design that tells people waiting in line to pretty much sit around a corner. Best advice is to ignore the lines/signs and stay bumper to bumper.“

“When I went through the drive thru yesterday I ordered my usual..Venti latte iced blonde roast one extra shot and 3 splenda. I really never paid attention when I paid but I was charged for TWO extra shots! Not the first time this has happened...before I had been charged for flavor when I don't get that. Guess I need to really start paying attention when I go to pay. It was repeated to me correctly when I ordered...but NOT how I was charged! I am a barista myself and would never pull this on my customers!“
