“We are so thrilled that we chose to go with Food for Thought for our August wedding! We got married at the Chicago Cultural Center, and while the venue has a number of preferred caterers, FFT was the one on that list that stood out to us. From the first phone call to the final calls and emails, they were so easy to communicate and plan with. Many of our guests said that this was the best food they've had at a wedding, and we agree we them! The hors d'oeuvres, salads, entrees, and custom drinks were all so delicious; everything turned out perfectly.
I also want to give a HUGE shoutout to Kacilynn, who was the one responsible for planning, organizing, and executing everything for us. When we met her for the tasting, she happily answered all of our questions and was just so fun to talk and work with. I had countless questions and updates throughout the planning process, especially in the final weeks, and she was responsive to everything.
One special thing she helped with was the champagne flutes; I had thrifted, cleaned, and packed over 100 champagne flutes for guests to use and take home, and I had been nervous this would be a burden to them to deal with, but she assured me that it could be done. She took the time to help me decide on a display option for them, and her team cleaned them before and after the event and packed away any leftover flutes. Her attention to detail and her ability to pull everything together seamlessly is truly unmatched.
We are beyond grateful to Kacilynn, her team, and everyone else at Food for Thought for making the food and drinks a true highlight of our wedding!“

“Well this is a very late review.. Froggy's catered for my wedding in 2016 and it was top notch. I was Soo happy to see them in business when many has perished. It shows the quality of the food and the team. We still talk about the food and THE CAKE and how delicious everything was. I believe the owner/ the person who was leading at the time was Thierry (Might be the wrong spelling) but if you are reading this , I hope you are doing healthy and happy. Wife, myself and the kids will stop by for some food and cake one of these days.

The bagel board had a variety of bagels, multiple types of lox, several cream cheeses, and beautifully arranged vegetables. The cookie board was the talk of the brunch!! Highly recommend.“

When we were doing our tastings, Inspired had a great showing. What sold us on them though, was Tom K. We felt so at ease with him, trusted his experience, and really knew that he would do a great job. He was always very honest with us and has a great energy. When it came to the wedding, the Inspired team was efficient and professional. We spoke to a few members of the team as we were getting ready for the day to start, and they were all so sweet and so enthusiastic! Aside from the service, the food was delicious!! We had also used them for lunch catering earlier in the day, and that food was also great. We used them once more at our Sunday brunch at the hotel, and the food was again, great. I appreciate Tom and the hard work that he put into the wedding, and for always making sure that we had what we needed.“

I have had most of the kinds of pickles as well as the giardinera and must say the quality and love that goes into this food is next level. “My daughter and I happened to be in Lake Forest on this beautiful morning, and she was craving some coffee. We did a quick Yelp search and Hometown Coffee was the top rated place.

My daughter ordered an iced Latte, and I ordered a Cafe Au Lait. My coffee was delicious and she said her Iced Latte might be the best she's ever had!!

I told the cashier I wanted to dine in, but I’m confused why he brought the tray to the table in front of me but I had to pick up my tray from the counter to bring to my table. It’s not a good look for service consistency.“

“I already worked in this place, very clean and delicious airline food. I wanted to go back to work, I was on trial for two days, unfortunately, they don't see the way to work but rather they take the personal appreciation of the supervisor and if she doesn't like you, they won't accept you.“
