“Decided to try out this place after hearing it from a client. I was delighted that they have a simple kiosk ordering system which made things quick and easy. Ordered the pork and ginger dumplings and the grilled chicken. The dumplings even though they were hot, they were still flavorful. The chicken paired with the coconut rice was well-cooked and very filling. I had the egg tart for dessert and it tasted okay, Overall still satisfied with the experience and food.“

“Best veggie Egg Rolls ever. It was my first time here so I played it kind of safe and got Cashew Chicken. It was excellent , large portion, with just a hint of spiciness ( which enhanced flavor). Tried the Coconut Milk Ice Cream. Good but unexceptional. Over all excellent and reasonably priced for what you get.“

“I love thai food and have been to many different places. This Thai restaurant has to be by far one of the best restaurants and food I had ever had. The customer service was phenomenal; the main server was highly attentive and polite. I loved their pad thai; literally tasted perfect compared to other pad thai dishes from other restaurants. My friend and I ordered their pork pot stickers as well, and they were absolutely divine. The dough was almost sweet and it paired well with the sauce and pork given in the dish. Do not even get me started on the chicken satay. The marinade and peanut sauce for this appetizer exceeded my expectations. Super juicy and flavorful. Overall the food plus the atmosphere was amazing; if I could I would give this place more stars. Thank you Rice and Noodles Thai Food!“

“I was wondering around by myself trying to find a hidden Chicago gem and I stumbled across Penny's Noodle Shop! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. The workers are so friendly, warm, and inviting, making you feel right at home. The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and cooked to order, which really makes a difference. They have a great selection of Asian cuisine, with something for everyone to enjoy. Plus, the location is fantastic, making it a perfect spot for a quick and satisfying meal near the ballpark. “Ben’s is my go-to Thai restaraunt. I’ve ordered takeout from them loads of times and have always been happy. The portions are generous and I feel it is a good value for my money. My favorite is the chive dumplings (although they stick together so I wish they would package them differently). They also have a weekday lunch special that is a good deal.

I saw someone mention how they didnt like their food and had a problem with the to-go cups having a lot of ice in it. I believe they freeze the styrofoam cups with water so there is a cup-shaped large ice cube in their to go drinks. Simple solution is to ask for no ice :)

“A very casual nice little Korean restaurant. The Seolleongtang was pretty good but I have had better in other restaurants (oth cities). It’s a bit weird that the place is called Seolleongtang and featuring Selleongtang, but actually I think the Wang Galbitang was better. The huge beef ribs in it were very satisfying. The chicken gizzards were also pretty good, no gamey tastes. Will come back if in the area.“

I wanted to try some of their unusual dishes but it was my first visit so I decided to go with something standard I could judge them by. I had the fried crab rangoon and chicken red curry. Both were some of the best I've had in Chicago. Actually the crab rangoon was the best I've has anywhere. This is a great local Thai place. Don't miss it!“

“I went a while back with my family, the portions are extremely large, they allow BYOB, and they are extremely good with service. The orange chicken is actually good orange chicken unlike most, and the food is over all really delicious. I also enjoy the Vietnamese iced coffee a lot.“

“We traveled quite a ways to eat here since it is considered by many to be a great old school Chicago restaurant. We went for lunch and it was very quiet inside when we arrived. My kid commented that all the songs that were playing were on her playlist so she was thrilled. She had the sweet and sour chicken and I had the Kung Pao beef. Both were really good and the portions were huge. The meals came with egg drop soup which was excellent and then we also had spring rolls which were very large and really good. Service was very good and the food was reasonably priced. I do wish they still had the old neon sign out front.“

Not a fan of the sauce and the texture varied from slice to slice.One soft, others firm and the skin was impossible to cut and chew. The pork belly was okay. Not enough ginger flavor came through and the pieces could be cut smaller. The salads were yummy.“

The beef chow fun was on point and the same is they make at Ming Hing. Fried rice was perfect. I'm sure everything else is really good too. “I wanted to give this location props for their lunch on 8/17. Walking in around 1pm, I could tell they had had their butts handed to them and were obviously understaffed. However, in my perspective they were handling the hangry customers very well, were staying calm and the staff that was present seemed to know what they were doing. The only reason for 4 stars is because and (this has happened more than once at this location) rather than suggesting I try my Pesto Cavatappi with pork, they tell me it comes with pork, which is not true. There is an additional charge for any meat on this bowl.“
