“We are from Washington state and just moved to Godfrey. I took my daughter there for lunch and it was fantastic. The large margarita is wonderful and everything we ordered was great so we got another order to take home!!!!”

“I recently got my braces on and have been hurting hecka bad! I came in for a smoothie this morning and the smoothie expert on shift was very kind and welcoming. I complemented her on how nice the store looked and how positive she was. I didn’t catch her name but I was just in so managers if you see this, give her a shoutout (and maybe some big dollar bucks this Christmas) I will be back! Thanks guys”

“I come each time to see our dear friends of 42 years and always request to eat Imo's Pizza. It has a taste that I don't get having pizza in the Venice Florida area. It's so special to eat in or carry out. I really look forward to our visit just so we can eat their pizza. Of course it wouldn't be right if we didn't order the cinnamon bites either. They're family owned and really care about their patrons too. Give yourself a slice of heaven by eating at Imo's!!”

“Walking into Gidfrey Hardee's on Godfrey road Godfrey illinois is like walking into a room full of friends and famy.manager Janis is so friendly and welcoming to customers..works right along side of her Co workers .she is dedicated to customer service and satisfaction Her Co worker Dominique is awesome so friendly..excellent cook and so friendly to customers fast accurate just an awesome person . Brendon is a cashier who goes above beyond to be sure things are accurate and timely as a customer service representative he can't be beat Just such a greT restaurant kudos to a who serve their under leadership of Janis.”

“Always good. Fresh and full of flavor. This was the 1st time I met this particular worker and he was so nice to me. He explained that I can actually call in my order and it will be packed and ready by the time I arrive. I love that idea because I drive a ways to get there. I'll be back next month for my fix! “We just moved to town, Godfrey. We have tried several restaurants since our arrival. The service has been sub par across the board. Then we founf carvers. The service was quick, professional and the food. I loved the food”

“Love Shivers!!! They have the best flavors, always rotating a new flavor of the day. The red velvet x gooey butter cake is the best! They get busy and there can be an a wait, but the staff are always so kind! Support local!”

“My partner and I had lunch here. I got the three regular roll lunch special (15.95) and they got chicken yaki udon (13.95?). We also shared a spicy edamame appetizer.

The spicy edamame was DELICIOUS. Simple and enjoyable. The miso was light and exactly what I needed. My rolls were just about what you would expect for the price point. Nothing crazy special, a little underwhelming, but absolutely hit my sushi craving. My partner enjoyed their chicken yaki udon! I also had a Diet Pepsi!

I ended up paying 54.34 including my 9.00 tip. Not bad for a lunch out. I would go back especially for the spicy edamame.”

“I live closer to the Alton location but drive the extra mile to the Godfrey location drive thru because the girls who work there are always so cool & sweet💞 Today one of them wrote something on my cup and it made my day. I’m in the process of moving to Wood River but will still drive up to Godfrey for my coffee even though it’s even further now😅”

“The food was prepared very well and the 2 servers were working their butts off. You could tell that this is THE place for working guys to get their lunch. Website shows breakfast is available but the server said they no longer do that. Room is very noisy.
There are no outside doors to the bathroom rooms so if you are seated near them smells could become part of your meal. At our visit, there was no toilet paper in the handicapped stall which made me think the bathrooms are not serviced very often. This was a half hour after opening and it was an industrial size paper dispenser with 2 sides - both empty.”

“OMG, this place is a breath of fresh air. With all of the hole in the wall bars in the area with crap service and a horrible selection behind the bar, this place breaks the mold.
Michelle was an amazing barkeep, the atmosphere was lively amd the pool and dart boards kept the evening alive. For the first time in along time, last call was a dreaded call. I am surprised that a local bar actually had me wanting to stay later. Of you aren't from around here, let this place impress you. If you are from around here, give the Barrel another try. This place is definitely a must visit.”

“The food was HOT, fresh and well prepared. The emoloyee at the drive-thru window taking orders and payment was so super friendly. She even stated she liked cooking there. The only yet minor downside was the wait time. But i would be happy to wait having received a nice smile, friendly service and hot fresh curly fries a gyro. Pleasantly surprised! 😀”
