Only suggestion would be more relaxing music and more veggies in the #5 crispy chicken bowl. Plenty of food! We will be back!”

“My gf and I went to 1929 Pizza and Wine on a Friday night, and we were not disappointed. The pizza was fantastic and the salad was very good. A group next to us had the malerinated olives and they looked really good also. The place doubles as a coffee/pastry shop in the AM, but when we got our bill they also brought us complementary pastries to take home, which were excellent.

I booked last minute reservations and got a high top table, which was fine. I would check ahead for openings before just showing up on a weekend.

Bw forewarned, it is a little pricey. $20+ for or a neopolitan pizza and $12+ for a salad, but the food was very good! I will go back sometime.”

“Been driving passed this place for 5 years on my way home from work. What I learned is I been missing out for the last 5 years 😭. Just got 1lb of pulled pork and some sauce. 🔥 I purposely don’t order pulled pork at restaurants because it’s always dried out. Now I finally have a place to get delicious pulled pork. “I ordered online and got errors stating problems with website on 12/16. I stopped by as it appeared that everything went through including the charge. I stopped by the store and the manager saw what I was seeing and worked with me to get my order processed (which was not easily resolved). He was very patient and helped get my order processed. Very nice, friendly, and helpful staff.”

“Chef Travis is an amazing cook by far! We went once and he was sold out of the birria tacos, stopped by last night to catch the and ended up getting a special for the bourbon chicken he had. The sauce was so flavorful and the chicken was so tender. He shows us such great hospitality & is an amazing cook. We will continue to support him and his journey as long as we see that big space ship down there! 🤍🤍”

“We live 2 hours north and were in town for a Band Competition, we stopped in to eat. Our server Jordan was fabulous. With it being our first time there the manager sent us some free deviled eggs to sample! Highly recommend the deviled eggs, so tasty! They were a little busy with several parties and took a little longer to get our food but our server was attentive and apologetic for the wait. We were not mad or upset about the wait, totally understand when it’s busy. The manager gave us a free dessert for the wait. The customer service is top notch and they seem to care about the customers. And a plus that the food is delicious!!!! Highly recommend!! We will def be back!”

“The ice cream is very good, but...don't plan on any "naughty" flavors at the Edwardsville store, probably ever. That aspect is very disappointing. Service is great, atmosphere good. The owners should be up-front and post "no boozy flavors" on the Edwardsville website, not just a sign inside (after you're already inside the store). The ice cream was very tasty, but I was craving something "special".”

“Sage House is a “Top Shelf” stop. Threw a dart at the menu? You can’t go wrong. Why it’s only a 4.8 star rating is beyond me. Must do!”

“Went to watch Karaoke and sat at the bar. The bartenders were extremely busy but took great care of us. We had a party of 3 and ordered drinks and food. The food was excellent (pulled pork and two different wraps). The total price, including a $20 tip was $80. It definitely beats any fast food and most sit down restaurants. Will be going back.”
