“We held a family funeral lunch at Lino’s. The staff was welcoming, attentive and very friendly as they took care of our party, which filled their banquet room. We had a couple of chicken dishes, a couple of vegetable dishes, a garden salad, potatoes, and cannoli for dessert. Our guests raved about the food, which was delicious and hot! “Stopped by with my daughter for lunch. The bartender Ashley was prompt in coming to the table and starting us with some drinks. The attentive service continued throughout the meal. Cheese fries were hot, crispy, and well seasoned. Smash Burger was juicy and prepared correctly. Chicago Dog on point, and the Italian Beef’s beef to bread ratio was perfect. Get it with cheese and giardiniera.“

“This is a solid pizza joint. I’ve ordered delivery 4-5 times. Good ingredients, speedy delivery and consistent results. Plus the delivery guy is a nice guy and seems genuinely proud of the pizza. I compare it to to Rosatis, but I like this better, and that’s with zero shade. In conclusion… if Jimanos is in your neighborhood hood, you should give it a chance. Ps the BLT Pizza was awesome. I feel like I invented it in 2002… But immediately thought it was better than the one I made. Only complaint… Too much bacon. But then I say that out loud and it sounds stupid. You can’t complain about too much bacon. That’s dumb. Everything that was supposed to be crisp was crisp and everything that was supposed to be hot was hot. Almost like a McDLT…“

“Mom and pop joint with friendly workers/owners. Had the chicken Gyro and fries. The pita can easily rival any top Mediterranean chains. The chicken was soft and the fillings were very fresh. Fries were hot and everything felt like it was prepared fresh in a very short time.
Hands down one of the best gyros I've had in a while.“

“Something new in the Mall food court! Staff is so friendly and talkative, love them! They have truly great selection of unordinary pizzas. You have to try ordering from the menu! Ready slices are good, but freshly made mouthwatering pizza is so much better. I tried pear pizza, was very impressive, chef's creation, but my best favorite is vegetarian pizza. This is the best we have found on the North Shore. Thin crust cooked perfectly. The food traveled well (Door Dash). A generous amount of toppings, very good sauce. Will have again.“

The first time I went, I got the Ruben and a Guinness which was amazing and packed full of beef and layered with Swiss cheese and Sour Kraut. The second time I went and got the Buffalo Chicken Pizza which lived up to the bar set by the Ruben. I got another Guinness and a Basil Hayden and Basil Hayden Toasted both neat and with water backs. While enjoying my drink I had an amazing chat with the bartender, who is very knowledgeable about mixology.

Overall, the best place in all of northern Illinois to get a drink and food with family and friends.“
